Except for the fact that he dies...

that was a cheap shot he was tied up and like half asleep. He killed 3 of the forsworn two others morzan and his dragon all without his dragon or his riders sword.

Dead is dead no matter what you died for, how you died or what you did in the end you are still DEAD.

He is still dead and he could save himself as he would probably know you could use magic without the ancient language. Plus he had aren if he needed the energy he could just take it from the ring so actually he did pretty poorly and as a result he is dead.

I only disagree with things which I think are wrong and I just happen to disagree with you a lot because some of the things you write are wrong.

My favorite character is Saphira. She is very intresting and has lots of advice. She seems at points like she knows more then she says.

thats difficult.. but I have to choose Brom, he is quite wise and respectable. I almost chose Saphira because of.. well obvious reasons, and Murtagh is a bit like me so I almost chose him... but I am going with Brom.

Just from a marketing stand point that would not really work for whoever started that forum. Brom was a really important character, but he did die about half way through the first book. There were a total of four books.

It is still impressing the impact that he had on the overall story.

it is a tie between them but as a dragon saphira is my favorite but as an elf Arya has it in the bag plus i let my sister check out the web site on my account she reads the books too and she is the one who posted that second one of arya

I don't get why Oromis isn't in the list. He is by far the most intelligent man mentioned in the book. He is my favorite character, alongside with Glaedr.

I am sorry, you were right. The author still edited it, which I'm thankfull of. Whenever people say Eragon, I think about the entire series; not just the first book.
