My most interesting character, if I do say so myself. :D

Name: Servix

Age: 37

Gender: Male

Skills:

Ayleid's Language: Even though he's only a half-Ayleid, he can speak their language. Their language is much, much stronger than the Ancient Language, but Servix won't use it for simple things he could do with the Ancient Language because the magic is physically taxing on Servix, because he's only half-Ayleid.

Space Penetrate: An ability that's rare even among Ayleid, and something his father mastered. Servix can penetrate any wall or space by feeling it's properties and wavelengths. He cannot overuse this ability however, for fear that only parts of his body will penetrate the space. His father could Penetrate Space without this fear because he had mastered it, but the ability is still fairly new to Servix.

Silver Wave: Servix crosses his arms, and a transparent, white ball forms around him and gets larger and larger, throwing back enemies it encounters.

Overwhelm: When angered beyond the point of forgiving, Servix will unleash mad fury. It's as if the guilt of his family's death, the sadness of the Ayleid's endangerment, and the grief of the destruction of his homeland suddenly combines and changes to anger which Servix uses as a strength to attack his opponent. In this state, he gains incredible speed, almost seeming to appear and reappear, and when he speaks spells of the Ayleid, he doesn't physically taxed, but he is almost arrogant in this form. He only seeks to cause destruction, and he attacks anyone he can find. He can't recognize friend from foe, and once the state subsides, he is also greatly drained of energy.

Race: Half-Ayleid, half-human. Ayleid is a race that excels even the Elves in strength and speed, and they are also Immortal. Being only half-Ayleid doesn't change any of this.

Hair: Dark Blue, wavy and falls to his mid-neck in the back, and falls around his eyes in the front.

Eyes: Pure white, sign of his Ayleid blood.

Home Village: Arath, which is in the southern land of Cerudin. The entire land has nearly been destroyed by the violent war.

Parents: His father's name was Dillard, and his mother's was Ellina. They died trying to protect Servix and his brother. His father was a pure Ayleid, and his mother was a human.

Siblings: A brother who's name is Zervin. He and Servix were trying to desperately find an escape route in the war of Cerudin, but Zervin died when he used his remaining energy to teleport Servix to Alagaesia.

Personality: He usually a reserved and quiet person. He felt that his entire life was taken away when his family and friends died in Cerudin, so he isn't exactly desperate to get to know anyone. He has a fear of seasickness, which aroused in him when he went sailing with his father when he was young. He is a vegetarian, and doesn't believe in the needless consumption of animals to lessen one's hunger. He wishes to revenge his brother and parents, but he doesn't know where their killers are, and he doubts they are still in the ravaged land of Cerudin, where only few still live. He has few friends in Alagaesia, but he feels a connection to an animal he met in Du Weldenvarden who had pulled him all the way to the entrance to Ellesmera when he had collapsed. This animal has been his companion and traveling partner ever since, and Servix named him Zervin, after his brother. However, Servix doesn't refer to Zervin as an animal, and gets insulted when anyone even lightly hints that he is one. However, Zervin has a high intelligence, and can speak mentally. Servix still remembers the dark days he had spent with his brother trying to escape the Nylids. Those days still sometimes haunt Servix, and occasionally he wonders, no, wishes that he had been the one who bravely teleported his brother out of harm instead of what happened.

History: Ayleids were noble and powerful beings, respected by all in Cerudin, and Servix was no different. His life started out a normal life for someone of Ayleid half-blood or higher. He was taken in for training at an early age, and finished his basics by age twelve. He had made several friends then, and had been a very outgoing person. Five more years passed of Servix training almost relentlessly. One day, he and his friends came into contact with a Nylid. Nylids and Ayleids were the superior race of Cerudin, but that political rank wasn't enough for the Nylids. They always tried to pick a fight with the Ayleids, but the skirmishes were small and nothing major. However, Servix and his friends had run into a powerful Nylid, who, unfortunately, believed in Nylid superiority. He fiercely fought with Servix and his friends, but one of his friends was murdered. Once the Elder Ayleids had caught wind of this, they had become furious. They could deal with the minor skirmishes, but this had gone too far. The Elder Ayleids demanded that the Nylids condemn the murderer to death, but they refused, retorting that the Ayleid got what he deserved. This statement was what started the war.

It wasn't a long, drawn out war because Ayleids and Nylids were rare and there weren't many of them, but the war was extremely destructive. The entire land of Cerudin was the battlefield. Servix could only scarcely intervene in the war because he was still a Minor at the time, but the Nylids didn't care. At night, they snuck into the family manor, and attacked Servix and his family. His father was a very powerful Ayleid, so he held many Nylid off while Servix and his brother, Zervin, tried to escape. Their father held them off as long as he could, but he and Servix's mother were slaughtered that night. When his father died, it was as if the entire Ayleid race had lost hope. The war turned in favor of the Nylids, and soon, every Ayleid Servix had known had been slaughtered. For days, Servix and Zervin were on the run, and they had almost made it to the seaport, but they were intercepted by several Nylids, who attacked Servix and Zervin, who were at the Nylid's mercy. When Zervin had been impaled by a sword, Servix had ran to his brother, desperate to heal him. Zervin simply smiled, and pointed his hand towards Servix. A green dart shot from Zervin's hand and enveloped Servix, teleporting him to Alagaesia. The last thing Serix saw was Zervin's head being chopped off by a battleaxe.

Servix lay, collapsed, in the forest of Du Weldenvarden, slowly dying of grief and sadness. This was when the black creature of Du Weldenvarden dragged Servix to Ellesmera. Several days later, Servix finally woke up, panting. He had been having nightmares about the war. The Elves tended to Servix from there, curious in his race, culture, and powers. They taught him their own language, and treated him as one of their own. The unseen, deep wound left by the war of Cerudin began it's healing in his peaceful days here. He had seen many things in the war, and it had changed him, matured him, for what has yet to come. At age 34, Servix left Ellesmera, promising to return four times a month. To help him accomplish this, the elves, after ensuring he wasn't a spy, gave him a necklace that would lead him to Ellesmera. If anyone else other than Servix or the elf who made it wore it, they would have to be explained it's effects before they could actually use it. The black wolf, who Servix now named Zervin, accompanied Servix, and promised to be by his side as long as he shall live.

Weapons: He fights with a blade that he and his brother smithed together. It is extremely durable, and it's a very good blade, especially when it was the first time Servix had ever smithed a weapon. This blade is the only thing he has left of his deceased brother, so he cherishes it greatly. His blade as several runes of ancient Ayleid speech. (Link is here)

Dislikes: The never-ending guilt of his past, seasickness

Weakness/Fear: He simply can't be on any boat or ship because of his seasickness.

Animal Companions: Zervin. Zervin takes the form of a black wolf with soft, long fur and he is a little larger than a horse, making him able to ride by Servix. He has green eyes, and he has a large intelligence. Even the Elves were bewildered with Zervin's appearance, and when they asked Servix how he had found Zervin, Servix replied saying, "Animals are naturally interested in Ayleids, or so I've learned over the years." Although Zervin looks graceful and kind, he can be ferocious in fights. He moves with a quick speed, and has a very powerful mind, allowing him to attack someone else's mind.

Physical Appearance: Servix stands at 5'10, and he takes a thin, muscular appearance. He has dark blue hair, and pure white eyes. He is usually seen in a white cloak with black trimmings. He wears a black cape that hangs from his left shoulder, and his blade rests on his back, the black cape hiding all of the blade except for the hilt. He wears white gloves and as a golden chain necklace around his neck.

Dreams for the Future: To avenge his family and restore the land of Cerudin. To do this, however, he must become much stronger. He also wishes to find an Ayleid mate.

Reasons for Dreams: He wishes to restore his land to bring back it's pride. He needs to find an Ayleid mate because he believes himself to be the only surviving Ayleid, and due to his half-blood, he doesn't think he can ever bring back a full-blooded Ayleid.

Alignment: He is going to help the Varden, as he agrees with their cause.
