True but Murtagh said that the oaths/vows he made to Galby could only be canceled (or something) by Galby. It is most probable that the smith made the oath to her self which means she could break it. That's still so unlikely though.

I think d weapon under d menoa tree is nt a physical one...i think by the menoa tree, CP meant d diagram drawn by Oromis...he may hav inscribed certain words which may giv eragon a lot of power...n as for his sword, I believe brom surrendered his sword to one of d elf families hu still hav it n, in time will trust eragon n giv it to him...dey may also yeild if Oromis asks dem to...bt i doubt d elf smith wuld create a new sword..she sed she swore dat she wouldnt n since elves speak in d ancient language...

Yeah he's going to have to go through some kind of test to get it. Or seeing him fighting with the elves and protecting their home might do it or they just might hand it over seeing how it is urgent but they might have a claim telling him to return it when he is done or something like that.

The urgals aren't evil anymore, they turned good when Durza was killed. I think they're trying to build a home in Palancar valley though.
