Did you like Eragon or Eldest better?

Since i find Roran's storyline boring (and that's huge part of book) I must say I liked Eragon more than Eldest.

Eldest was definetly more interesting, but it's longer, and i've read it less. that's part of the reason i've read it less.

both are good, and i like both stories. but roran's pretty cool.

Hey can you imagine what happens when you smash someones head with hammer? In my opinion to intetionally chose a weapon like hammer is same as saying to "hey guys I dirty butcher and I seriously enjoy killing". How can I like person like that ?

we're pretty off topic, but when he chose the hammer he remembered a story where a warrior who had laid down arms had to fight again to save someone he loved, or people, but chose a simple hammer as his weapon. CP probably did that to make him unique. and he, like eragon, have a reason to fight fiercely, and with out reserve, even if it gets bloody. the hammer does make him different from Eragon, no fancy swords, which has its own appeal

I liked Eragons story better because he seemed to be "smarter" and had more depth to him. Roran was just like blahh...
I think a hammer would be really ackward to use for fighting... I like swoards better!

I still like swords.

With a sword, you can parry as well as dodge but with a hammer...

You have to dodge since it would be almost impossible to hit the opponent's weapon with the head of the hammer every time. If it hits wood... it either scratches, cracks, of completely breaks of the blow was strong enough.

I think Eldest was better, cause in this book you get to see eargon grow up more, not as in only skills but with real life matters like love. I also love the big fight senes in this book better the eragon.

i liked them same, but in eldest is more adventure

I like both of them the same because they both had different things that made them special and intresting.

Like in Eragon when he finds the egg and Saphira hatchs
and in Eldest when they are getting taught and the festivals they have!

I liked Eragon better than Eldest, what hit me hard with Eldest was the choppiness of the storyline. On minute your reading about Eragon, and then all of a sudden on the next page without warning, BamB. Your reading about Roran or Nasuada and the varden, from which the chapters on the Varden were Really boring to me

I thought so too, but with Roran and Eragon's stories the book was awesome! I love tormenting people who are still reading it and rubbing it in their faces. . . lol
