I think Kristen kreuk ( Lana Lang from smallville and some priest from EarthSea) Should play arya she looks elf like to me, HOT but not Overly hot just Fairly Hot probally because shes all natural no fakeness like Britney spears and shes smart not a bimbo like Jessica Simpson. Give her some pointy ears and some tight black leather outfits and a bow and she could be arya who agrees with me? ^^;

i CANNOT AND WILL NOT accept sienna as Arya Svitz-kona until she changes her hair. it is PATHETIC that they cant even get the hair right! i mean, eragon and eldest dont go through 2 chapters without mentioning Arya's beautiful dark hair. heres what i think:

i am an EXTREMELY big fan of the eragon and eldest books and have read both of them more than 10 times. this is why i couldnt HELP but notice that there were some huge problems wth the casting.
a) Arya's character does not go on for longer than 2 chapters before they mention something about her LONG, DARK, WAVY HAIR. no offence, but miss Guillory has neither. she will need to dye it, curl it and get hair extensions before i even think of accepting her as an Arya.
b) Arya is the princess of the elves and Nasuada's (leader of the Varden) favourite and strongest supporter. she is not typically feminine, she is strong and independant and is one of the strongest magical beings in Alagaesia. sienna guillory does not seem to me to be either of those things and because of this, i do not think, how ever good at acting she is, she will be able to pull this character off.
all eragon fan that i have met and spoken to agree with me on these fronts. Sorry Sienna! you are very pretty but just NOT Arya!

i agree if they want to make a movie do it right or dont do it at all.
i hate the way all sorts of movies(example: LOTR, Monstor, silent hill, doom, series of unfortunate events, ect. i could name more but i think i got the pint across) what the heck why do movie producers have to be so anal you want to make a movie on a book so use the book as the script for gods sakes. quit being dumba$$es

Anyways, now that I've seen how they messed up Arya so badly, I'm wondering how badly they messed up the other characters...like Saphirea. x.x If they messed up Arya that badly, I'm scared to see how Saphira will look. The only reason I'll probably go to see the movie is in hopes that it isn't as bad as it looks, and I want to see how Farthen Dur and Tronjheim looks..if they even include it..

Oh pictures are pictures and not the final cut of the movie. Who knows what they could have done. Plus the fact of the matter is also they didn't really want to pull an arwen from lotr...too similar and everyone, including myself, would probably be thinking arwen and lotr the whole time. I just want to see how she portrays the character herself, afterall that is more important. I am fine with the way she looks for now and I am hoping sienna plays the part well. I don't think they have really messed her or any of the characters that bad...in fact I think they all lokk pretty good for who they got.

i think the film makers should have put more care into the movies. but even if the costumes are all rong than the story should be in the right order. like lotr the costums were great but the film was all out of order.

Well, her hair isn't blonde it's red which I think gave the character of Arya a more classical beauty. I think the actress who played her did a great job. She is strong, slender, and extremely pretty. I think they choose a wonderful actress to play her.

Yeah I know when I was in 3rd grade our school play was "The Hobbit" and 3rd 4th and 5th grade were the elves. We had to get pointy ears glued over our ears! Man that to take them off...

I think Arya was my biggest character disappointment. I mean , I liked the movie but you know. Whatever her name is was good in the movie but she didn't look the part at all. Here's what I didn't like about whatever her name is, she was short, she had kind of curly red hair, and she didn't even have pointed ears. The way Arya was described in the book is, she is tall, had she had straight raven black hair, and arya is an elf she must have pointed ears.

some of you guys like her acting? personally I think she didn't do a very good job of the acting at all...she didn't look, sound or act Arya's part right *is annoyed at director*
