Corthavon the Betrayer, and his Dragon, Zoe.

Name: - Corthavon the Betrayer (his enemies call him betrayer, and his closest friends call him Cor)

Age:- 30

Gender: - Male

Skills: From the day of his birth Cor began his training. His father taught him how to use magic, sword, bow, guard his mind, and reach out to others at an early age. By the time he was seven years old he was renowned as a great fighter, with the sword and with magic. Even before he found Zoe's egg he was a strong magician, and finding her only increased his power.

Hair: - Dark Brown, almost black

Eyes: - Deep blue, almost purple.

Home City: - Uru'baen

Parents: - Donavon the magician, and a mother who died giving birth to Cor's triplet brothers. He doesn't know her name because he was only a year old, and his father refused to speak of her.

Siblings: - Three brothers (triplets) who serve as soldiers in Galbatorix's army

Character Personality: Cor is ruled by his pride, and it gets in his way a lot of times. He loves to boast about how many of the Varden he has captured or killed in front of groups of soldiers to make them jealous. Needless to say, Cor spends most of his energy on healing himself. Cor always does his best to impress people by challenging others to duels--when he knows they don't stand a chance at least.
Cor shares Zoe's sarcastic nature, and loves to use his to make people angry. Unlike Zoe though, he hates riddles, and when he asks Zoe to stop speaking in riddles she just does it more than ever. Cor's sense of humor is annoying to other people at times, as he is willing to go to great extremes just for a laugh. (such as giving Zoe a deerskin full of sheep wool that got stuck in her teeth.)
Cor doesn't care if people look at him as a monster, but if anybody ever calls him coward then his temper rises rapidly, and he attacks the offender. Cor's temper only flares when people talk or act in ways that he feels are insults, and when people keep there thoughts of him to themselves. Most people would describe Cor as an outgoing, prideful person, who is easy to be around. He loves it when people smile, and he hates it when they have troubles, or are unhappy.

Character History: All Cor could remember was training, more training, and harder training. From the time of his birth Cor was learning the history of the world, to speak every language fluently, to use his sword, bow, magic, to use his mind, and other weapons. When he was only 7 years old he had joined the ranks of Galbatorix's spell casters, and there was nothing else he could learn at the time. Cor was even trained by Galbatorix as a Dragon rider without a Dragon for a few years, because Galbatorix was going to present him to the Dragon eggs.
10 year old Cor was hunting for Varden spies, when he got separated from the group he was with. A storm came and he was forced to find shelter. After a while the boy found the very small opening of a cave. Using magic the boy made it just big enough to crawl inside, and replaced the stone.
After surveying the small cave the Cor lay down to sleep. the next morning the storm was gone, but he couldn't leave the cave because he saw the Varden spies with a magician. Most of the Empire soldiers he had been with were there, but they were all dead.
With the light that streamed through the entrance of the cave the boy was able to see that the cave was bare except for a long oval, purple stone. The Cor went silently over to it, and picked it up. 10 minutes later more of the Varden, with more spell casters arrived, and Cor began to wonder if they would ever leave.
Suddenly the purple stone in his lap burst open, and a Dragon was hatched--well not exactly a stone. The young Dragon touched his left hand with it's snout, and he whimpered as pain shot up his arm. The pain finally subsided, but the Varden had heard him. Their spell casters removed the stone, and were surprised to see the young spellcaster boy, with his newly hatched Dragon...
The Varden took the Cor back to Farthen Dur with them--making sure he didn't know where he was of course--and tried to enter his mind, but were unsuccessful. He lived among the Varden for 5 years, waiting for the opportunity to escape. When he turned 15 the Varden's council members tried to make him swear fealty to them. Cor grew so angry at them that he killed one, and several Varden as he and his Dragon, Zoe escaped the Varden.
From that point forward Cor decided to be a scourge to the Varden. First he flew back to Uru'baen where Galbatorix received him, and gave him a dead rider's sword, and then before Galbatorix could make him swear any oaths, Cor, and Zoe flew away. Before flying away Cor had written a note saying that he went to fight the Varden, but should Galbatorix need him, he only needed to send a messenger, and send for him.
For 15 more years Cor, and Zoe lived as a scourge to the Varden, and still their goals are the same thing. To destroy the Varden and have peace in the world.

Weapons: A rider's sword that Galbatorix had stolen during the fall of the riders. It's purple, and it's a long hand-and-a-half sword that has a straight blade until it reaches the end, where the blade curves slightly. Desptie the curve the sword is double-edged. It's name is Deyja. (die not death, don't ask me why.)

Likes: - War

Dislikes: - Peace, the Varden, and those who are better than himself.

Animal Companions: - Zoe (his Dragon)

Character's Physical Description: Cor is 5.11, & 3/4 ft tall. He never quite reached 6 ft unlike his identical brothers. Cor's different than all his family, taking after his dead mother. Cor's eyes stand out in such a way that the first impression he gives people is of hate. He appears average in appearance--which he uses to his advantage--and carries no battle scars. He always keeps his face clean shave so he can desguise himself better. Cor wears the type of clothes that those around him do so he can blend in with the crowd.

Dreams for the Future: - To destroy the Varden

Reason for Dreams: - because the Varden's council members tried to make him swear allegiance to them.

Gender:- Female

Parents:- Fraelmer and Moriea

History: Zoe's parents were both rider's dragons, and when Galbatoix started collecting dragon eggs her parents hid her's. It was around 80 years after their deaths that 10 year old Cor found Zoe's egg, and she chose him for her rider.
Zoe was angry when the Varden forced her rider, and her to go with them, as if he were a helpless boy. She had chosen Cor because even though he was young he was very mature, and strong willed. At times Zoe regretted her choice while they were with the Varden, but when he killed one of them and fled with her she never regretted her choice again. After Cor got his sword she advised him to leave Uru'baen, and serve none but the people, and fight both the Varden, and Galbatorix--but he didn't completely heed her advice. Cor chose to leave Uru'baen, but not to fight Galbatorix because of the kindness he had been shown. Thus Galbatorix claimed his loyalty in a stronger way than oaths. And he knew it.

Personality: Zoe is a fun loving, peaceful, and serene Dragon all at the same time. She is wise, and she knows it, and always uses her wisdom to either be sarcastic, or when the time's right, to be a councilor. She's a beautiful Dragon, and she loves to show off the fact to anyone who looks at her. Something Zoe has kept hidden inside of her since the day she hatched was jealousy. She hates it when others are able to do more than her. Zoe is very good at riddles, and can answer most riddles without giving them a second thought, and she usually chooses to speak in riddles to her Rider, and others.

Colour: - Purple

Appearance: Zoe is a very beautiful, 20 ft tall Dragon. She started out by growing rapidly, but eventually slowed down to where she grew one foot every year. (one inch a month) Her eyes are a deep purple, almost black, while her body is a royal purple. Her wings are the perfect size for her body, and she has long ivory-like claws, and teeth, that are as sharp as swords.

Dreams for future: - To help govern the world with her rider's help.

Reasons for dreams: - Because she loves peace above all things. Cor balances her out by loving war.
