 Re: Who is Eragon's father?Guys, we would need to make a timeline here in order to really discover an APPROXIMATE time of Selena's second pregnancy. CP has left not holes, but pockets, making that task really, really hard.
Everything we are discussing are just assumptions, interpretations and speculations. We can not nail it down to the T, as I said, because the author has some huge gaps or contradictions in his story. So let's not get too pesky about it. I continue with the theory that Selena must have met Brom sometime after the attempted murder of Mutagh by his father. Hard core evidence, difficult at this time. The evidence of Morzan being Eragon's father is fraught with gapping holes. Everyone is just basing it on the fact that Murtagh spoke the words in the Ancient Language. The Twins made the ASSUMPTION of Morzan being the father because Selena was the common factor as the mother of both boys, therefore they forwarded this ASSUMPTION to Galbatorix who took it to heart. Murtagh would have gotten the information from Galbatorix to confirm the Twins theory. It's true that ANYTHING can be made from these SPECULATIONS such as someone thinking that Brom is Eragon's father.

Re: Who is Eragon's father? and it really matters which argument you take. both aren't definite, but the one for Morzan as Eragon's father is weaker and has more holes. There is MUCH more evidence to back up Brom as Eragon's father.

And we have been doing so ever since we read Eldest. So we have had a few years of digging, prodding and thinking!!! But CP has made it clear that timetravel is out of the question. If you can't even LOOK into other times, why would you be able to GO into different times?

Re: Who is Eragon's father? Love is by NO means a theme in Naruto. Naruto is a SHONEN manga. Romance isn't a focus in Shonen mangas. There are many intertangled relationships, but it is by no means revolving around those.

Yes, Sakura loves Sasuke and Naruto has a crush on Sakura and Hinata is head-over-heels in love with Naruto, but you can't really say that it "explores" love in any depth. Avatar isn't THAT much different. It's a bigger part, but it's really still not a very big part. And in THAT one, it just seems like a bunch of crushes.
