Skills: Valora is an excellent fighter. Though she is only two, she has complete control over her firebreath. Valora is also an incredible flier. Though she can't actually see the air currents, it's as if she has a sixth sense of where to go and what to do to get through the air in the quickest and most efficient way.

Character Personality: Valora has a fiery temper that perfectly suits the blood red color of her scales. She is fairly easy to anger, but as if to contradict that, she is also easy to calm down. She is quick to take offense, especially if someone were to insult her parents. (Particularly her father.) Because she gets mad so easily, she's been in a lot of fights, so she knows how to hold her own in a scrap. When she's not fighting with someone unfortunate enough to incur her wrath, she likes to sit quietly and converse with the animals around her. She particularly likes squirrels because their hyperactive minds and emotions make her think of the little brother she has, even though she doesn't even know him. She likes to compare the minds of the people around her to the animals she has conversed with, and figure out what kind of animal they would be. If it's somebody she really doesn't like, she imagines them as a toad. In her opinion there is nothing nastier in the world than a slimy, wort- covered toad. Though she would never admit it, Valora is also a bit obsessed with finding her brother's egg. She feels that it's the only way to win her father's approval, even though he disappeared before she hatched.

Character History: Lenorias, Valora's mother, laid her egg and one other shortly before the fall of the Riders. As was the custom back then, she chose one egg to give to the Riders. The silver egg she entrusted to the egg's father, Gedor, to hand off to the Riders. The ruby egg she kept to raise in the fashion of the wild dragons. On his way to the island of the Riders, Gedor was attacked by a flock of wayward Fanghur. In the scuffle, he dropped the silver egg and it fell to the ground. When the fight was finished, he searched for the egg, but couldn't find it. He returned to the nest in Du Weldenvarden and told his mate what had happened. Unable to accept the loss, Lenorias left the forest to search for it herself. Amid the family's own troubles, Galbatorix's war against the Rider's had begun. One night as she was sleeping, some of the Forsworn attacked Lenorias and slaughtered her. Through his mate bond with her, Gedor felt it as she died. Enraged, he used magic to send memories of what had happened to Valora, along with a plea to start searching for the egg as soon as she hatched. With that he left and was never seen again.
Many years later Valora hatched and with her father's request at the forefront of her mind, she began to search. In her travels she has seen that dragons are again out in the open and she knows that soon Galbatorix will be dethroned and the Riders will live again. In the meantime she will search for the lone silver egg that is her brother.

Physical Description: Valora looks exactly like what she is, a majestic creature of magic. She is 20ft tall at the shoulder, 75ft long, and her wingspan is 150ft. Her scales are a breathtaking shade of ruby red. The spikes on her neck, back, and tail are all snow white. Her teeth and claws are white as well. Valora's eyes are as red as her scales, with a few flecks of rust red.
