Hadarac Desert?
Ciris was tense. "Calm down your about to fall over " Safria remarked. They were chasing a band of slavers that had been roumored to have a connection with Gilbatorix. They had been chasing them for a 3 days and now they were in the middle of the Hadarac. Ciris hated it. Nothing to hide behind or sneak up on someone from. "Barzuln!" swore Ciris. "Weve been chasing them for 3 days shoudnt we have caught up with them by now!' he cried out loud. They heard a groan. "Ciris are you being impatient again?" his sister Ninindel questioned. She started to strech, Ciris had learned thet sleeping on dragonback was unconftorable and now Ninindel had learned it too. "No,I just think we should of caught up with them by now!" he told her with more impatiance than usual. "Thats impatiance" his sister retorted. They looked at eachother then fell in to a gloomy silence

Re: Hadarac Desert?
Faefnir and Navarre noticed a presence in their realm. Another dragon, father. Bound it seems. Faefnir smirked. Well then, how about we meet them, young one? Navarre enthusiastically agreed, then hopped on her father's back. He took off towards their location. He immediately saw them close by. He landed in front of the group.

Re: Hadarac Desert?
Safria flew in the direction they think the slavers had headed. Ciris and Ninindel sat in a gloomy silence on her saddle until Ciris and Safria's heads both jumped up at once. "Another dragon?" Safria said, mimiknig Ciris's thoughts. "Two" he replied simply. Ciris quickly relaed the information to Ninindel, and then quickly began thinking about all the options, with Safria's input of course.

Re: Hadarac Desert?
Yes. Two dragons. Faefnir looked behind him at Navarre, situated on his back. I'm Faefnir, and this is my daughter, Navarre. We mean you no harm, just want to know why you are in our dominion.

Safria spoke for the group. I'm Safria, this is Ciris and Ninindel. We were only tracking a band of slavers that we belive has taken some of our allies.

Re: Hadarac Desert?
OOC: you should ask to be accepted to the Dragon Rider status.
Both Faefnir and Navarre growled at the mention of slavers. They both hated slavery with all their hearts. Well then, allow us to join you. We know the desert very well and we would be more than happy to help you two destroy the slavers.

Re: Hadarac Desert?
Faefnir and Navarre smirked simultaneously. You have the most rotten luck. Those slavers you are tracking have only been about a day's ride ahead of you. It is most likely that they are after new slaves to capture. It was here that Navarre cut in. Or they are heading to the nomadic trading village to the north. That is a good place to get provisions that are... less than legal.

Re: Hadarac Desert?
Ciris groaned. He thought to himself 'Yeah, I do dont I?'. He said to Safria Do you think they might be at the trading village? We dont even know if were traking the right band of slavers
We should catch the band of slavers weve been tracking first. Ciris then turned to Faefnir and Navarre, " Would you help us catch the slavers, and show us where the trading village is?"

Re: Hadarac Desert?
Aelir and Keralin sat on the ground with a layer of sand skipping over them. It covered them well from a distance but up close it was more than noticeable. While they looked the same color they couldn't match the size of the other dunes around them. Keralin pulled out an item he bought from a sailor town during his travels. It was a long brass tube with curiously dented glass in the center of it. He lengthened it and peered through one end. He was watching a small village that were trading odds and ends. But Keralin wasn't interested in those, he was more interested in the market for slaves. The fact that they traded human lives for goods infuriated him. He was waiting for a caravan that unloaded goods every month and it was coming soon. But he couldn't move against them yet, the time was not right.

Faefnir responded for the both of them: Absolutely. Just follow us. Then they took off, Navarre on Faefnir's back as usual, and waited for them to take flight as well.

Ciris's eyes changed to a deep red as they finially knew they were going to catch up to the slavers. HE turned to Ninindel "Ready?" before she could answer, Safria pulled up, and followed Faefnir and Navarre through the desert.

Re: Hadarac Desert?
OOC: Longer posts please. IC: Reb picked through things that were being traded, not really interested in them, but in the little boy that had been taken for a slave. Luta. Reb had been hired to return him to his family. She sighed as she saw them force him to sit. She walked over to him. She pulled out her money sack that the family had paid her with. She decided that it was worth the sacrifice to give the family their little boy back. " I want to buy the little boy. I need a water boy. My horses needed looking after." Reb said to the man holding Luta's bindings. He turned and when he saw Reb he laughed outright and his laughs were followed by that of his friends. " A weak woman needs a slave? How come I wonder. Or should you be a slave as well?" He asked grabbing a piece of her hair and pulling her head back hard. She played the part of the weakling. This was what she and Star had worked out. Star Gazer sat at the edge of the desert. Teranor just sitting there next to her. She looked down at him. " Your father is going to kill me for doing this, but I've got to take you with me. Climb aboard." She said and her son climbed on her back. She lifted into the air and the sand cycloned into a dust storm. Then the storm surged towards the camp, with Star Gazer and Teranor in the middle.

Re: Hadarac Desert?
A small bit of commotion drew Keralin's attention. He watched as a woman who had a bag of money was grabbed by the hair. She looked familiar to Keralin. That looks a little like Reb. Said Keralin to Aelir sharing his memories. Why would she come here? Said Aelir Good point. Keralin looked out to the desert trail and saw the caravan approaching. It was almost time. He checked his supplies, and made sure he had everything. Then lay down again in the sand.
Aelir was watching the ground around them, making sure they weren't going to be ambushed. Keralin was in a different world watching the villagers. He looked at the skies wanting to be able to fly again. A reflection of light shone into his eyes. He nudged Keralin and told him to look into the skies.
Keralin angled himself so he could look into the skies with his telescope. Sharing his visions with Aelir they both recognized Faefnir by his size and marvel. There was a considerably smaller dragon flying next to him with a rider on the dragon's back. Another rider joins our ranks. The caravan was just entering the village now and the sun was almost set. By unspoken consent Aelir shuffled himself out of the sand and shook himself clean while Keralin dusted himself off. Before long they were as clean as they could get, without a bath, and they flew off towards the village.

Faefnir made sure that they were following him, then angled towards the north. He quickly saw a black dragon taking off with something on its back. Star. What are you doing here?
OOC: pass turn.

Re: Hadarac Desert?
As the dust storm surged towards the group that had Reb pegged as a slave, the guards all turned and didn't pay attention to their newly aquired slave until it was too late. They all turned at the rustling of chains and were surprised to see Reb, sword out in a battle stance. They drew their own swords and circled her. She smirked. " Easy fight. You keep the rest occupied." Reb told her dragon through their mental connection. " Easy task." Star Gazer said as she let the storm go and flew super fast over the guards and they drew bows and fired, not noticing their companions at their back who were surrounding the "weak woman" who happened to be just as strong as them, despite her slender athletic, lithe body type. She swung her sword low as they attacked her. Luta watched as the ring of soldiers collapsed in front of him simultaniously. She was standing in the middle of them, killing each and every one when they struck at her. He had hope in his eyes as he watched his savior beat the soldiers one by one. Then as the rest turned to investigate she killed them when they attacked her. Not once did she attack an unarmed or non threatening person. And then surprisingly she walked right up to him and sliced the bindings around his arms, the rest of the captives as well were set free. " Hurry, more are coming, I saw them when I came here." Reb said then turned to Luta. She grabbed up the money pouch and handed it to him. Then she grabbed her black horse's reins and walked over to him. For a second he was afraid she truly intended to take him as her slave until she thrust her horse's reins into his hands and threw him onto the large stallion's back and handed him the money. " Your family waits just at the edge of this desert. Cobalt will take you to them, unharmed. Do not be afraid. Tell them I could not take money. Go." Reb said and slapped her horse on the rump and he galloped away from the on coming nomads that were coming to their comrads. The rest of the slaves looked at her helplessly not having weapons or transportation. She cursed. " Star Gazer, make sure Luta gets to his family." Reb said and her dragon took off after her horse.

Re: Hadarac Desert?
Keralin and Aelir swooped the town aiming for the Caravan that had entered a few minutes before. Keralin jumped off Aelir's back and into the lead rider, knocking him off his horse and knocking him unconscious. He ran up to the wagon behind the rider and swiftly incapacitated the two controlling the horses. There were other behind them but he wasn't interested in what was in them. He had been watching this object for a particularly long time.
Aelir kept a watch on the others. It was a good thing that the wagon took up the entire street, but then again it had been planned. Nothing could interrupt Keralin while he was searching.

Re: Hadarac Desert?
Ciris saw the swirl of motion start. Not only were slaves escaping, but stuff was being stolen, and people were being killed. Now that he knew where the town was, and they were almost there, he began searching for the caravan carrying the slaves he was looking for. Ninindel contaced Ciris through her mind, and said to him There it is! To your right!" She sent him a mental picture of the place, and Ciris saw it immedately. He told Safria and they angeled toward the Caravan. They were almost there when a sand storm blocked thier view, and sent Safria into a flurry of airal acrobatics to get out of the way. They got out of the way of the sand, and got at a safe distance before wondering what happened.
