Star Gazer smiled lovingly at the small dragon, remembering what her own young had been like at this age. She laughed as she blew air at the younger dragon sending her scooting backwards in the air from the force of her breath. "My darling, I am taking you to see my dear mate, Faefnir, and show him our new friends." Star Gazer said, bowing low at the other dragons. "My rider and I would be delighted to welcome you to our safe house not far from here first, and then I will call Faefnir once I am sure of these newcomers to my rider's herd of friends." Star Gazer said pointedly, not trying to hide her threat. If either moved out against Reb, she would destroy them both, no matter that she had the size disadvantage, she was an older dragon, or at least she felt older having been through much at the hands of Galby. She could take Shruikan at any given moment, and would at any provocation, she wasn't easily intimidated. She wasn't being proud, just honest. She was a fighter, had been since she had been born.

Reb climed upon Star Gazer, no saddle needed. She and Star had long ago learned to work as a team, the other knowing the other's move before they themselves knew it. Without a word, Star Gazer launched into the sky, her large wings unfurling to expand to a massive size. She flapped them once and then was headed for her safehouse, going slower than she would normally, letting her friends keep pace.
