On the island of Sharktooth, surrounded by forest and stone, a beast awoke.

Draturia was roused from her sleep, nightmares plaguing her eclectic mind, by the Presence in her dominion, her territory. Ferociously swiping away Urgal bones on her cave floor with her stunted tail, bereft of ivory spikes, she roared loudly, her draconic voice coming out hoarse and rough. The cry was animilistic, beastial, with almost no sanity or reason. Draturia swiped ferociously at nothing, her night terror seeming so real to her crazed mind.

She stopped all of a sudden and sniffed around, her eyes darting around as she experienced another mood swing. Overcome with pity, she lowered her head down to her hind quarters and began to lick the scales, trying to keep them shiney and healthy. She was a vain creature, despite her hideousness. All she ever wanted was to remain beautiful.

She was interrupted from her beautification attempt when an unfamiliar scent wafted into her small cave. Who could this be? An intruder? It cannot be... Draturia wandered out of the cavern and began to hunt for the intruder on -her- island.
