Re: Happy Holidays I havent always felt this way, its just the last couple years, everythings been forced on me. My mom keeps telling the church director that I will be in the christmas play at church without asking me first. And because I'm the oldest youth in our church, she always gives me a major part. Its not that I hate it, its just annoying.
And its becoming so material. Last year alot of things in the mainstream majorly disrespected my religion. I will not go to far into it, but lets just say there was a santa on a cross. It was disgusting what they were doing...I hate what non-religious people have done to our holiday. I'm not trying to say non-religious people can't celebrate Christmas, but they don't have to totally take over every little aspect of it. _________________ █ ♥ █ They/them/their pronouns please █ ♥ █

Though I haven't been to church since she did and wont be at church for the next two weeks and havent gotten my script yet, leaving only two practices for me to even get ready for it.

But I don't really have a wish list this year. But I already know what my parents and one of my friends is getting me!! I pointed the gift out to my parents and that night as we were going home I felt them!! (That sounds really wrong, but I will have you know that they are books!) and my friend asked me if I had bought the third spider-man movie yet, and when I said no, she said don't. hehehehe!!! Only tradition we really have is doing Advent which,... Im not doing this year. Christmas is fun if you spend it with the right people, but with my family its just another holiday to fight on.
