I think there is blood up ahead, lots of blood, I wonder who is killing whom, urgals, Galbatorix' men, or the Varden, they all fight for causes, but why pick a cause to fight, we fight for fun, ... and sometimes honor, not that it makes that big of a difference.

As foolish as ever, eh, Arnon? Asked Tamar. She flew lower over the trees, so as not to draw any unwanted attention to themselves. Hmm, I think it is humans, and maybe some urgals, but I wonder who is winning, I think we should choose the winning side, no need to get ourselves into any sticky situation that can be avoided. Said the small red dragon as she turned and began to soar higher and higher into the air until she was above the clouds. Then, she went into a steep dive.

Maybe you are right, we will join with those who are winning, but we will swear no help to anyone. Said Arnon as he and Tamar began their dive. He loosed his sword and let out a yell of excitement.

They landed with a small thud and Arnon jumped off of Tamar's back. He saw the two humans were fighting, so he decided to walk over and see who will win. "Hello, I won't interrupt, but who is with whom, so I know who I shall kill." Said Arnon with a slight smile upon his face.

Tamar walked up behind Arnon and said to him, Do not be so pig-headed, these men may be able to best you in a fight, you should not look for so many un-needed fights ,we have more than enough ahead of us that we will be unable to avoid.

OOC: Were you guys talking to each others charries or mine??

"He glanced at the two new-comers and smiled. "A pleasure to meet you I'm sure," he politely said. "I hope you will stay for the reception party." "

[color=#FF0000:caterpillar]Skygge looked back at Rezekiel and told him soberly, "I'll be rid of you in a few minutes...that is what makes me happy." The young man turned back to the dragon and rider and gave them a questioning look. "If that was supposed to scare me into telling you what you want to hear, you did a very poor job of it, as I don't intend to tell you anything that could hurt the group I work for," a smile touched his lips, "See? I'm not even going to use the name lightly." [/color:caterpillar]

"You say thast now, but you still have no idea as to the power both I and Tamar," Arnon indicated the small red draogn behind himself. "Have, but we do know and have pretty much mastered our abilities, so I suggest you cool off before someone gets hurt." Arnon pulled back the hood of his cloak to reveal his blood red hair and his reducuiliously pale face. "I am a shade, and as one, I will be respected, or I will have to kill you ... and you." The last part he said to the soldiers gathering around them.

You should not have told them that. Said Tamar to Arnon. She silently summoned more spirits to protect his heart from all but the most powerful.

OOC: Are you trying to start a fight here Voenth? Cause Skygge isn't as easily defeated as your charry's think lol.

OOC: I'm gonna schange things around here because Skygge is getting rather boring and I want to bring in someone more...exciting? No...crazy is definitely the word...

Skygge focused his attention on the soldiers with the white hands. He had a notion of who they were, but something wasn't right. He walked up to their leader and asked, "What is your name?" No answer. A frown furrowed the young human's brow and he asked again, "What is your name?" Again, the leader ignored him. Without warning, Skygge drew his sword and impaled the rude brute, and nothing happened. Skygge let out a sigh of exasperation and said with an annoyed tone, "Illusions..."

Hmm, if it came to a fight, we will be in trouble if they all dislike shades, better be ready for a quick escape to the shadow relm. Said Arnon to Tamar only. He said, "Well, well, more and mroe people joining our little group. I wonder who is next, Galbatorix himself, or maby Islandi?" He asked with a slight smile at his own joke.

Do not overly antagonize them. Said Tamar as she move somewat closer to Arnon to scoop him up and open the gate that was beneath them.

OOC: Pass.

Skygge deftly dodged the lighting bolt and growled. He saw the man reapear and kill one of the 'real' rebels and knew immediately what he had done. The young human cast all caution aside and ran away from the site where all the otheers were still gathered. He jumped over logs, and dodged trees, all in an attept to get to 'the lair,' if that was even what it was still being called by its owner. Suddenly, Skygge was upon it. He looked back to make sure no one had followed him, but even if they had, he was the only one of them who would be able to gain entrance.

Wizard Radwerth grumbled...every day. Sometimes it was over nothing, like a rabbit in the woods, or sometimes it was about something, like strangers in the woods, but he always grumbled. Except of course, when he was sleeping. Today, however he was not sleeping, so logicaly, he was grumbling; and today it was definitely about something. Radwerth highly disliked strangers in his woods. Not that they were exactly his woods, but he was the only one who lived there, so he had a certain right to them didn't he? And all strangers ever do is either look for treasure, get in a fight, or get in a fight because they are looking for treasure; and that is why he disliked strangers. Wizard Radwerth went to great lenghts to keep them away; illusions, a scary voice, and even booby traps...which usually malfunctioned. However, the intruders didn't know that now did they? The wizard sat back in his big comfy chair and waited. Where there were intruders, a knock on the door was sure to follow, and where there was a knock on the door, visitors were always present. And there it was, the knock on the door, and although Radwerth hated company, he opened it without hesitaion because he knew who it was.

Skygge sighed in relief when the door opened without a lenghty pause. He didn't wait to say hello to Radwerth, but instead told him exactly what had transpired that morning. The old wizard huffed and then said, "So I expect you, without even saying hello to me I might add, want me to rush over to the nearest Varden encampment and stop this young terrorist before he terrorizes said encampment?" at this point he glared at Skygge and huffed again before going on, "Well ok! I might as well do it or else the Varden will go running around saying, 'Oh! If only that crazy old wizard had helped us, then we wouldn't be in this mess!'" And with that the wizard disappeared. Skygge quickly mastered himself, and erased the look of complete shock on his face, happy that he wasn't a toad by now.

Arnon put out his hand and allowed the lightening to hit him. It wasn't really painful. He had learned how to use his mind and block out pain. He mounted Tamar and the two flew into the nearby forest.

Tamar was almost worried when Arnon caught the ball of lightening, but when he climbed on her back, all her worry left. She flew into a nearby forest.

OOC: Pass...Sorry.

OOC: Very nice, very nice. Anyway, Skygge will be left off for now until I see a need to use him more.
Enter Radwerth to the scene of conflict.

Radwerth reapeared in the middle of the Varden Encampment to find chaos reigning. He quickly doused the five infernoes that had sprung up in various places around the camp, and released a healing spell that would spread like a canvass over the encampment and cure anyone inside of its boundaries. The old man didn't pay much attention to the fact tht it might heal his enemy, because he reasoned that only a man of great power would attack the camp by himself, and no one in this small encampment would be able to put a scratch on said man if he was indead as strong as Radwerth assumed. He opened his mind for a fraction of a second and discovered that the one he was looking for was in the very center of the camp. The old man transported himself to the location and was stunned by what he saw.

Once in the forset, Arnon and Tamar began to search for some place comfortable, no such luck, but they did find a small hut in the middle of the forest, so with Tamar's help and their knowledge of dark magic, they unlocked the door and walked in.

OOC: Pass.

Radwerth glared at the two men who had been fighting earlier. He didn't know if they were on the Varden's side or not so, consequently, they should both be treated as enemies. The old man knew he would have to be careful, however, because another thing he did not know about the two was how powerful they were. With these facts in mind he addressed Rezekiel in a civil, and almost friendly tone. "Before I tell you who I am, I would like to thank you. Your most suspicious and venomous tone has just helped me figure out exactly which one of you is the one responsible for this," he said motioning to the smoking camp around him. "As for who I am, I am Wizard Radwerth, the ancient master of all things magical...or something like that. You see I made that title about five millenia ago and can't quite remember it in its entirety." Radwerth sighed and shook his head in frustration trying to remember, but to no avail. After a few moments of thinking, he said. "To answer the question of why I would want to get in your way, I am currently siding against Galbatorix, so I side with the Varden."

Skygge suddenly grew alert. Someone had entered Radwerth's hut. At least that is what it looked like on the outside. Once you entered the door, you went through a portal leading into a large castle...one with many traps. Skygge quickly headed to the control room where he would be able to see the whole place with magic.

Radwerth's body flickered, and then vanished. With a puff of smoke he appeared on the other side of the clearing and sighed. "Why does everyone think I'm so vulnerable when I am old?!" He muttered something in the ancient language and as a result, a thick mist surrounded him, almost making the old man completely invisible.

OOC: Wasn't it voenth's turn?

Arnon slowly, but surely manuvered his way past the hundreds of traps in the mansion. He continued down the hallway, untill he saw a human. He yelled at the person then ran after him.

Tamar, when she saw the human took to the air after the person, the mansion was not monsterous, but her small size allowed her to comfortabley fly after the person in the confined space.

OOC: Pass.

OOC: So, are you going to go red or should I?

Radwerth deftly jumped 20 feet out of the way of the fire, but, because of this, lost his cover. He grinned. The battle was getting intense, but it was nothing he couldn't handle. The old man was actually thinking of using the attack he had just invented, but he would wait. He needed the right moment.

OOC: Pass for skygge.
I just love when we get in these little fights!

Radwerth decided that for this battle, not only magic was needed. No matter what spell...well, excapt for one...he threw at them, they woukld either extinguish its effects, or dodge it. He muttered a long line of words in the ancient language and smiled as he felt energy fill his body. Not only did he now have the strenght, agility, and speed of an elf in his prime, but his staff had turned into a fearsome double-edged sword.

Skygge controlled himself and refused to smile saying, "Oh don't worry, I don't intend to get myself killed at this point, but that doesn't mean I won't stop running." He adopted a pondering look to his face and added reflectively, "Actually, from now on I ough to be walking." With that he yelled out a word in the ancient language, and imediately an extremely real and complex illusion sprung up around the three beings. Skygge walked over to a tree and disappeared.

Radwerth hadn't fought with a sword in about a decade, but then again he was about 10,000 years old so that amount of time really didn't matter. And then there had been those slicing squirrels in mid-air sessions so...he wasn't very rusty. He also had magic on his side, which meant he didn't have to grow tired during the battle. That was the thing with people; they never knew that old wizards built gems into their staffs. In spite of all of this, Radwerth was hard pressed to defend himself from the constant blows coming from Rezekiel. The young one was strong, fast, and very endurant. This battle would prove to be a tough one.

Skygge easily dodged the ball of darkness and laughed. "Maybe you did find me, but I won't be here for long." With that the young human walked through trees, and hills as if they were not there, sometimes going up and invisible flight of steps, and finally, he reached the "hidden door."

OOC: Don't worry Voenth. We're almost to "Radwerth's Arena".

Radwerth shook his head in annoyance andgrowled the words, "What is wrong with young people these days! They always think that they can win right away!" The old wizard inhaled loudly and resumed his rant sending spittle flying in evey direction, "I mean, there are many ways I couldescape this!" As if on cue, the old man's body appeared to melt away and seep intothe ground.

Skygge chuckled to himself. He couldn't believe that these two beings had acctually followed him the whole way to the arena. He had thought it would be a challege to get them to come, but they had actually done exactly what he wanted. He had even left open the trap door open for them so he knew that they would probably be here within the minute. All he had to decide now was if to release one of Radwerth's...accidents...or to fight them himself.
