Oh, hello, of course it will be Arya! A dragon;s color matches their rider's "aura". Green is used to describe everything about Arya- her home, magic, ect. If Orik got a dragon, witch I doubt because dwarfs are earth-orentied, it would be brown and copper. Roran is to much of a farmer. All he wants to do it get back to Carvanhall for the next harvest.

i agree with aleah. CP does use green to "id" arya. so that seems to be the only logical choice. and anne you're getting a little too upset about this. he wasn't really technically calling you a coward. he was just pointing out that it is cowardly to use other people to defend yourself.

"somthing or other sapphira's mom gave her to be a DR'd dragon" so I think that when in the egg, eggs are chosen or given, and some sort of spell is placed on them to bond them with humans. Like the grey folk bound humans and elves to dragons, a DR egg can't hatch unless it meets it DR

Okay.... back on topic, No they wouldn't be equal. I said NEAR equal. CP would probably want to do that because Arya and Eragon will fall in love, sorry that's another topic. But Arya probably knows enough about dragons to be a good dragon Rider.

Yeah, she would make a good one... But she has so much experence in war (Like over a 100 years of it) and she was born of a magical race.... Eragon wasn't born an elf, and he has not be around for as long as she has. But He's still pretty good.

Arya would be great for Greenie the dragon to hatch for, but can Eragon manage to get the dragon egg away from Galby without being murdered? Probably not. Good luck with that Eragon. If he returns unhramed, it still may take a while for the egg to hatch.

Again I doubt it. The book would have to span like 6 months just to give greenie the slightest chance. He won't be able to help.

That is only because there wasn't much action going on. Now there is a huge war going on with Galby; you can't skip 6 months.

Annie is right. If you want the egg to have a role in the battle its gonna take a while. And to do that we would miss about 7-8 months to maybe even a year for it to be believable. It just won't be able to happen unless a HUGE twist is put in...

Hummm. Then maybe Murt will come to the good side before Galby's death.... I seriously doubt that Eragon can take on Galby alone, especcialy if Murt is with Glaby. So if Greenie's not going to assisst him.... (Which I doubt. I bet that bk 4 will cover a few years or so) Then Murt will proably come over to the good side.

Oh man you guys are starting to possibly lose your minds! Greenie will hatch in the last book to Arya, Roran, or someone in the Empire. Roran might get the dragon because the dragon doesn't know whether or not he wants to farm in Carvahall or not. Roran will never be able to farm with a dragon flying over his head though. Arya has the experience but CP will try to make Arya and Eragon NEAR equals in book 4. Someone in the Empire is such a vast answer but it is probably the most likely because of its vastness.

Yep. I read in the Acnogelment or however u spell that, that Brisingr was originally going to be the last book but it would have been to big for his liking so he split it into a Cycle, 4 books.

The egg didn't break Saphira hatched out of it. The egg would only break through strong magics or being hatched.

BOOK COVER IS GREEN, AND EACH BOOK IS MODLED AFTER A DRAGON'S COLOR. WE KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THE NEXT BOOK IS GREEN. THAT'S THE ONLY THING WE DO KNOW FOR SURE.

I seriously don't like the color green on a dragon. It would be too ordinary as I stated above. And someone tell me where in the Cycle that it says the last egg is green cause I've read that Cycle 3 times within the course of 4 months and haven't seen it.

Roran would hate being a rider. Wild horses couldn't make him be one. If you read the chapters in Brisingr where it talks about him, all he wants to do is defeate Galby and go back to his home in time for the next planting season. He's brave and all that, but he really just wouldn't be happy.

and the last dragon will not be pink. if it was, i'd laugh so hard cuz thorn would die of laughter, then murtagh would die from the fall and then saphira would laugh at that, which would cause the hatchling to get mad and kill saphira, eragon kills the hatchling but dies in the fight.

anyway, dragon egg gets destroyed, all hope is lost for varden. they give up and leave. galby now only has his minions to rule, but they're stupid, so he kills them, and then he lives in loneliness with his evil psychopath dragon who ends up eating him cuz he's bored. then shruikan rules the world!

yet another everyone dies scheme sj. the green egg will obviously go to arya because she needs the least training to be strong with the dragon. though it would be cool if the dragon went to nasuada or roran or someone.

well shruikan didn't die....



but anyway, even if it went to arya, the dragon would still have to grow and would still have to train with a trainer (like saphira trianed with glaedr). and there isn't enough time for that. if it hatches in the middle of the war, it will be killed by murtagh (cuz galby won't want it to live. cuz he doesn't care about that one as long as he can repopulate the dragons). so it will most likely hatch in the epilogue and then it really doesn't matter who it hatches for cuz the story's over, eragon will probably be gone already, and people will be like whatever

maybe it hatches for galby and then eragon tells murtagh about his real dad, and murtagh goes good and the sides even out again, just a little in the favor of the varden for two trained riders

if it hatches for galby, murtagh won't leave, cuz he'll see victory and like it cuz it keeps him safe

But Saphira will refuse to mate with Thorn or Shruikan!

exactly why when galby dies, shruikan will die too, when murtagh dies, thorn will die too, arya will die, eragon will be heartbroken, the menoa tree will force eragon to leave, and saphira will mate with dragons in other lands.

Go AnnieBee!! I sooooo totally agree with you, but I kinda don't want Murtagh to die, I want him to change his true name and join the Varden. Then Galbatorix would have more than Eragon to deal with and he would have to fly into battle himself. Murtagh and Eragon MIGHT could defeat Galby if Eragon found the VoS.

but still back to the topic, the last egg is really going to be irrelevant to the book except as the object of which both sides are fighting for

i can't see how he's going to have the last dragon egg in the next book unless he does a really long one or a 5th one.

i understand but you know how the 4th book came about c.p just acidently got carried away so the 3rd book is to long and he had to make a 4th one. he's the kind of person that loves what he's doing so much he not sure he wants to end it.

yeah, well i got a quick solution for him to end it.

I think that the new dragon rider will be Arya, and that Roran will probably take over being King of the Empire once Galbatorix dies. But thats only my opinion...
