Yeah, theres alot more in them. Zaphod has two heads beside each other rather than one on top and one on the neck. And he never gives one to anyone like he does in the movie. Its funny cause the books are a trilogy in five parts! and if you thought the movie was random, you have got to read the books!!!

never read the book but teh movie was just plain stupid ( not stoopid as in kool but dumb). i got thru the first 15 min had to turn it off and watch war of teh worlds to get it out of my system

The books are amazing, so is the movie (actually I thought it would be really hard to make movie of such book, but they did great job).
