I love this series! I consider the first one to be the best Gamecube game. It had it all: graphics, gameplay, stories, somewhat insane difficulty, cool bosses. The second was was good, but less original and the ammo requirements were a pain. The third I haven't played yet but it looks awesome.

i dont know why, but i've actually never played a Metroid game before. i might get one eventually, but....

i saw a preview for Metroid Prime 3 on my Wii tho! i bought it at the Wii Shop

the only boss i know from Metroid Prime is Ridley because u play against him in SSBB. he looks kinda cool, so maybe i'll give Metroid a try!

I only own Metroid Prime 3. I have to say, it's pretty awesome! I'm not very far in it yet, it's it's pretty sweet.

Prime 3 owns...I'm only on my second Behemoth though. Hunters is good as well.

Don't worry about the characters - each game has it's own plot. You can play them on their own.

And I'll see if I can put an animation in there...

It's pretty good. Not really good, but it's a solid FPS. And the Wiimote in an FPS is just amazing.

The Wiimote revolutionized the FPS.

Haha, I think I have stated my opinion enough.

Ridley was easy for me , just do the super missile attack.
I had trouble with the damn rock pile creature, must have fought him at least 30-40 times. And the one time I didn't scan him was the time I won. One pirate data entry and a couple creature entries. >.<

I feel stupid, I got all the way to Metroid Prime on a 6 year save file and then restarted.

How much of the pickups did you need help for? I hate using walkthroughs the first time through a game but I did need it to find quite a few missile and energy tanks. And some upgrades like the Gravity Suit.

Random Stuff:
I really enjoy reading the scans. The solar system model room is one of my favorite moments. I love the idea of a woman being the badass heroine. The easter egg where the player can see her face in the visor's reflection is also great. The first time I saw the Overworld, with the old theme in the background, and the rain/atmosphere affect. That was cool, what defined the game in my memory if you will.
