Metroid Prime
I love this series! I consider the first one to be the best Gamecube game. It had it all: graphics, gameplay, stories, somewhat insane difficulty, cool bosses. The second was was good, but less original and the ammo requirements were a pain. The third I haven't played yet but it looks awesome.

I'm only on the first, so you're farther than me! I kinda stopped playing when I got there, though...

Re: Metroid Prime
Don't worry about the characters - each game has it's own plot. You can play them on their own.
And I'll see if I can put an animation in there...

Re: Metroid Prime
It's pretty good. Not really good, but it's a solid FPS. And the Wiimote in an FPS is just amazing.

Re: Metroid Prime
The Wiimote revolutionized the FPS. Metroid Prime 1 is really good. Haha, I think I have stated my opinion enough.

Re: Metroid Prime
*revive* (maybe)
So I was digging though the GameCube games a few weeks back and I found my dad's hidden stash of Metroid games (don't ask why they were hidden, I don't know they were just hidden) and among them was Prime (1) and I'm all like "Oh... this looks fun, lets give 'er a swing" anyways, I have collected everything but 1 energy tank and 3 missile exp. and yet... I can't defeat Ridly... I'm 2 boss battles (well 4 cause they are both 2 stage battles) away from a 96% completion and I can't beat Ridly... figures...

Re: Metroid Prime
Ridley was easy for me , just do the super missile attack. I had trouble with the damn rock pile creature, must have fought him at least 30-40 times. And the one time I didn't scan him was the time I won. One pirate data entry and a couple creature entries. >.< I feel stupid, I got all the way to Metroid Prime on a 6 year save file and then restarted. How much of the pickups did you need help for? I hate using walkthroughs the first time through a game but I did need it to find quite a few missile and energy tanks. And some upgrades like the Gravity Suit. Random Stuff: I really enjoy reading the scans. The solar system model room is one of my favorite moments. I love the idea of a woman being the badass heroine. The easter egg where the player can see her face in the visor's reflection is also great. The first time I saw the Overworld, with the old theme in the background, and the rain/atmosphere affect. That was cool, what defined the game in my memory if you will.

Re: Metroid Prime
lol, My hardest boss was that stupid plant and those mirrors... "ok, One Mirror left *Ku THUNK* Son of a -'
though the rock ball was fun, annoying, but fun
Fav Boss Battle (so far mind you) would have to be the Omega Pirate, blasting apart little by little while still fighting off Spec. Pirates and running around with a fully charged Plasma Beam.
Pickups? none, Artifacts, most of them... -.-" (I spend forever in a room, find all the hidden stuffs, collect the one's I can and record the one's I can't and what I need to get them)
Lol or the Pirate data where they were talking about reverse engineering all of Samus's Weapons and other gear, but "wisely gave up on the Morph Ball" I loved that one
I should finish Metroid Fusion soon too... then drag the game cube out to hook it up lol
