Crighton's a bit more realistic (well the dino's maybe not) and thought provoking in my mind, but Cussler's are a hell of an adventure. I like both of their works a good deal. Airframe was great, I was trying to figure it out through the whole book, I won't give it away. It's been too long since I read timeline, I don't remember it well. Prey, Rising Sun, Next (funky), Jurrasic Park, all good books to name a few. Didn't Crighton just pass away? Cussler, he has way too many books. Name something, or PM me if you wish, I'll happily discuss them. I probably said this already, but Odd Thomas is a good starting point for reading Dean Koontz.
