 Pray for the Troops Im sorry if this is the wrong section but i think this is inportant enouigh to go in the announcement section.. Please pray for our troops who wont be home for the Holidays. Let us wish them a merry Christmas and let them know we want them to come back.

It's exactly the reason why we don't talk about politics and religions either!
It wakes up too many emotions, frustration and anger.
All I can say is: free4ever, be calm, firetongue has no intention of meaning any harm to you or anyone else (that I know of, lol)
It's not like the US goes before everything, we are all equal here, I'm not going to rant on something either because you don't like to have an announcement about our remembrance of the victims of WW2 when the germans invaded our land.. It's just not applicable to this forum.
Did that come out right? I hope it did.

Re: Pray for the Troops Don't worry, I know what you mean and I guess maybe I said it in the wrong way.
All I meant was that we should be hoping for the safety or troops all around the world no matter who or where they are, or who they're fighting for, because everybody is a real person with real feelings after all.
So my hopes go out to everyone fighting for their country and what they believe in, rather than just the US troops.
And so long as we can keep the politics out of it, this is a fine topic.

Re: Pray for the Troops yes, i was just watching the military channel and i was just thinking that they are not appreciated enough and I hate when I see crowds of people with signs like "We shouldnt got to war for gas" i just pisses me off and if they want more terorist attacks on buildings then they just keep right with it, but some people actualy care, so thank u freeforever
