 Mercedes LackeyI looked through the topics to see if this had been discussed. If you guys like fantasy and books like Christopher's I think you'd like Mercedes Lackey. She writes about magic in the Kingdom of Valdemar with brilliant horses known as Companions, incredible magic and tales of great bravery.
She has many different trilogies including Arrows of the Queen, The Last Herald Mage, The Mage Winds and more. Thought I would pass it along! Tasia |

She is SO amazing!! You will really enjoy her books. I'm really surprised none of her books have been made into movies - even if it were just for the Sci-Fi channel!

I've never heard of Mercedes Lackey, but if you say it's almost as good as CP, and I know you didn't I'm just interpreting, then I guess I should look her up in the library. Thanks, Tasia. By the way, I like horses so if I get hooked I'm gonna blame u, k??
