Ready to RP?
Congrats, you're character has been accepted. For the newer users I'm sure this has popped into your head. "Now what?"
Well when RPing there are certain things to remember:
-When posting or replying, always consider other RPers, not just yourself. -Think about what you are posting, will the story go anywhere? We want to avoid posting a topic that will get little attention. PM another RPer and ask them nicely if they wish to join. Maybe even give them some insight to what kind of storyline you will have so they can plan ahead. -Avoid making multiple topics at once in the same section. You're ideas can get drained quickly or get irritated replying to too many posts. Keep in mind that once you start a topic, other RPers want you to stay active. They may really like the story and want to keep at it. -Try to keep the amount of people in a topic to a small amount, usually 3 or 4. If you have too many people join one topic, the amount of time to wait will be too big and the story will take too long to progress. Plus people's daily lives could affect it. So think small. -Not everything has to be an epic battle or display of power. You could make a very simple story and you would be amazed where it can lead. -When joining another topic make sure it is ok first, some people will find it rude if you just jump in. -If you are having writers block, look at other topics people have done. Or even your daily life can provide some form of inspiration. -Please dont godmod some ones character without their permission. This will only cause problems.
If you have any other questions, PM one of the RPG Team members.
