OOC: In this RP my unnamed character will arrive on the shores unknown and nameless. It will be a little bit of a competition, as whoever has the best name will get to name her--or the character that means the most to her--and determine who's side she is on.
She will also receive training from all the other RP characters in this RP. She will learn everything from how to talk in human language, to fighting, and maybe eventually magic. So let the RP Begin!

IC: The girl was happily singing bird songs on the most beautiful morning she had ever witnessed. Everything was perfect. The slightest of breezes was blowing, and the weather was perfect. Even the birds had no idea of the approaching storm.
Less than one hour until noontime was left, when suddenly a dark cloud came from the east. A cloud so dark that it turned the near mid-day into a very dark night. It had been moving extremely fast, and all the island birds, and the girl who lived with them, had no idea that it would stop directly over their island.
Out of the dark cloud came dark funnels, covering the tiny island. Many of the birds died, before they were safely inside the tree. Giant waves covered the island, and the birds knew there only hope was to fly for it. Few escaped alive to find new, tiny islands.
Meanwhile the girl had been hiding in her cave. The waves were high, and soon washed her out.
The great tree on the centre of the island seemed to attract the attention of the funnels, and soon it fell with a large splash, for the island was now completely engulfed in water. The girl felt fear for the first time in her life as she managed to catch ahold of the tree, and climb on.
For many hours the girl clung to the tree, and finally a land untouched by the storm came into view. The girl coughed up a lot of sea water, and tried to stand up on the slippery tree--unsuccessfully. The girl fell into the water, and unfortunately hit her head on a rock giving her a fair sized bump, and scrape.
And as the tide came in, it brought, and left one who had not been seen in Alagaesia for nineteen years, and was long forgotten. It brought one who was Unknown and Nameless.

OOC: Sorry, but um Anyways. Now maybe I can post without laughing to death
IC:
The girl groaned, and slowly opened her eyes. When she saw another creature she became wide awake, and backed away quickly. She had never seen anything of the same form as her before, and the....... Thing was about her height. She looked around for something to help her ward of the strange creature. The girl caught herself on a rock and tore her outer skin (clothes) but it did not really matter to her. She had no idea where she was, or what was happening, or why it had to happen to her.
Suddenly the girl felt desperation fill her. The only familiar thing was the cry of a lonely sea bird, too far away to hear her. suddenly she felt something she had never really had before. The girl placed a hand to her forehead, and gasped in pain as she touched a large, burning scrape. She pulled her fingers away, and there was blood on them. What was happening? She looked at the other creature with desperation in her eyes. The day had started out so perfect, how could it have gone so wrong?

OOC: I would like to join.

IC:
Ara had been watching the three human(ish) creatures for some time. She had been hovering over them, in her invisible form, but it was breaking up, and fast. She sighed audibly when she was no longer able to maintain her invisible state. She flew after the woman who she had throught had drowned. She followed after the three females, until they ran into some soldiers. Ara gasped and screamed. She remembered the burning cuts infilited upon her by the soldiers ar Gil'ead. She dlve down and roared loudly, but spoke with ehr mind to the females, Get behind me and hand on, we don't have to go far, but just out of sight, then I can hide us, and I swear I won't harm any of you.

ooc: Obviously I'm not talking to you, because she walked past you.

OOC: Yes please join.
And this color means she is talking in an animal language.
IC: The girl stopped in surprise when she was addressed in a language she knew. The creature that addressed her was one she had never before seen, but it was the first creature to speak her language so she followed.
When a winged creature that didn't exactly look like a bird flew down the girl stopped, and watched it. This was a very strange place. The girl looked at the... creature who had spoken her language, and she asked a question in that tongue using her voice. "Where is this place? and what are you?" The girl noted that her voice was musical as ever, and as easy to use. A remnant of the home she had just been cast off of. The girl looked at the strange rock-covered creatures run towards them. Strangely she was not afraid. Everything was so strange.

OOC: She is a green dragon with violet eyes.


IC:
Ara quickly dove to the ground and used her camoflauge ability. Immediately, both she and the werecat, and the human looked like one large lump of stone. She said, If you touch me and do not move, you will be safe for now, but after fifteen minutes or so, you will have to run for it. I cannot hold this form for any longer than that with you touching me. said the dragoness as she counted down the seconds as the soldiers ran right past them.

ooc: .... I knew that!! >.>

Levina sighed as the soldiers ran right past them. Once they were out of sight, she stepped out from under the green dragon. Well thanks for that. Now that those soldiers are out of the way, we can properly introduce ourselves. My name is Levina, thanks again, she said to the dragon. Levina looked over at the girl, who was looking angrily at a black eagle that just caught another bird. I'm not sure who this is, I found her on lying on the beach unconscious, Levina told the dragon. Hey, um, little girl, who are you? She asked, trying not to sound rude.

OOC: That's fine.
IC:
The girl looked at the other three with curiosity. Do you mean, What am I? I am a... a... I don't know what I am." she said. "And what are... soldiers?" The girl wondered about the strange stone creatures that had run by. Were those the soldiers the others spoke about. Why did the storm have to happen? It wasn't fair.

The girl looked with confusion at the other creatures. "Do you mean like Robins, and Eagles, and what species I am?" She asked. name? You are an Ara? I've never heard of that type of bird before. What type of creature are you?" she asked the other creature."What are humans like? Are they always huge? What is Teirm? and soldiers?" Why did everything have to be so confusing?

"It is all so strange... Name? I was never called anything. Then came the storm..." The girl said confusedly. "Dragon? So you are an Ara dragon? And you are of a rare species called Emeleneya? I have never heard of your types of creatures before. And you are a lynx? are they as rare as Emeleneyas?" The girl wondered at the expressions on the faces of the Ara, Emeleneya, and Lynx. Their expressions seem to say that she was confused, although she believed them to be the confused ones. "Mountains? Are those another type of creature?" The girl asked. They were all so confusing.

The girl climbed on the Ara dragon--on Ara like Emeleneya did. Finally the strange creatures were beginning to make sense. Each individual was called something different. "I think I understand what you were trying to tell me now. There is only one Ara, and only one Emeleneya, so they are called by that. Is that what you were trying to tell me? Where I came from things were different... This place is so strange." The girl said looking over the sea. The tide was now coming in, and with it came her tree. Completely dead. A type that grew nowhere else except the tiny islands around Alagaesia. "Farewell my old friend. You gave me shade when I needed it, and the dew always shone bright from your blossoms." The girl looked away from the tree in who's shade she had grown up. Why did that storm have to come?

The girl laughed when the lynx changed to a... a human, and tried to speak the main animal tongue. "You almost said 'It rains when you pick up rocks and throw them.'" the girl said in amusement. "You were trying to say, 'You get your name from your parents.' Right? I guess I don't have parents then since I don't have a name." a little more seriously.
The girl enjoyed the flight, as she looked at the 'mountains' and wondered if they were living, breathing creatures. Maybe one day she would find a...a dragon that would want to stay with her, and fly with her.
"What is the strange language you keep trying to talk in?" The girl asked the lynx human.

"I really need a name?" The girl asked disappointed. She hadn't completely grasped what the lynx had told her."Do you have a name too?"She asked the lynx. The girl thought for a moment, "If I need a name can it be one that reminds me of the home I have lost?"she asked. She smiled at the lynx, who seemed to be getting better at the universal animal language. "You are improving. It is very easy to speak--easier than specific languages. Why don't humans speak it? It is universal." The girl touched the bandage thing on her head. Her head hurt, but not as much as it had before. She thought it would feel all right if the bandage wasn't there. She didn't remove it as she thought the one who had put it there would not be happy with her.

The girl shook her head after each name, and slowly got off the dragon. The only flowers I remember seeing were the tiny ones the birds cared for on the tree. All of them were nameless, as was I. The other plants that grew there provided us with food, and beauty of a kind, but the tree gave the most beauty. None of us had names. Not the birds, not me. Not even the plants. Those that visited us called their species something, but none of us living on the island had a species. Unknown and nameless some of the visiting birds called us. The girl said as the entered the cave. She stopped speaking when she realized how much she had said. She never really talked unless she had to, and it made her uncomfortable. She sat on the floor of the cave, and looked around. Even the cave was completely different from the one on her island, now buried by the sea. Her cave had been beautiful, outside, and inside, and had soft, blue-green grass. She looked at Ara and asked, "How can you live in such a place as this? It looks so hard, and cold."

The girl smiled at Ara. She thought for a moment before finally speaking. "You are right. It was not built for me, I am sure it is a lovely home for your kind." The girl shook her head after the names Levina suggested. They somehow didn't seem right. "You can think of names later. We should rest while we can before the storms crash upon our heads." The girl's smile never left as she spoke--not until the very end when she said the word storm, but it came back immediately. The girl began singing one of the quiet, calming songs of the birds on her island. One that always brought peace, and sleep.

The girl finished her song and looked at the others. Apparently they were not trained to smell storms on the wind days, weeks, and even months in advance. "Not all storms are of water. Some are of troubled times. Can you not smell the storms of this land in the air? I have never smelled this many storms before." The girl said with a sigh. She hated this new land, but she knew she could not escape it. The girl looked at the other two again, and began telling them of her island.
"As far as I know I have always lived there. The only creatures that lived there besides me were the tiny island birds. There was a beautiful cave where we all lived in stormy weather, while when the weather was perfect we lived in the branches of The Tree. The island was almost as tiny as the birds themselves... I could walk from edge to edge in seconds... But it was my home, and big enough for me and the tiny birds.
The floor of the cave was soft, and the walls shone bright, and beautifully always sparkling, and blinding during sunrise and sunset when a sunbeam entered the tiny door. The Tree was the biggest thing on the island, it was as wide as the cave, and taller by many times. Every season it's flowers changed to something different. Sometimes they were one shape, and color, while at other times they were another. The fragrance was such a beautiful scent that it attracted many who flew over... I have not seen any in your lands...
Seabirds, and fishes often visited, and brought many things to us. The tiny birds had always survived off of seeds, but they barely survived. So we planted, and much of the island was covered by the food we ate, and grew."
The girl stopped speaking. When speaking of her home she forgot about the amount of words she used, but now she remembered, and tried to remain silent, but started singing another song. A song made by the tiny birds, and her a long time ago. One that took weariness from the bones, and brought joy to the heart, but at the same time created a longing. A longing to live beneath the boughs of The Tree. A longing to wander the sea. It created many longings, usually depending on the desires of the listeners heart.

The girl laughed. She couldn't both continue singing, and stop. Then she looked sadly at the werecat Emeleneya. She finished her song in a way that left the desires in the heart, but only if they were dwelt upon, and she spoke in a sadder voice. "The nameless island is swallowed up by the sea, and will never be found again." The girl closed her eyes after her speaking. She could almost feel the gentle, salty wind touching her face, and the gentle first rain that brought growing. She opened her eyes, and looked around at her surroundings. "Will I ever find perfection again?"

Morena had been traveling long, and hard, and had just escaped sight of the soldiers. After being in Alagaesia for awhile she had departed of the shade spirit she met on Vroengard, but desired to meet her again, as the shade had been one of her few friends. Suddenly Morena heard a soft singing coming from a cave she was standing next to that she hadn't noticed before. The song put many thoughts and desires in her, but Morena did her best to ignore them. She understood the words, and was surprised that one who was obviously human by the quality of the voice, could sing the nameless songs, of the nameless island. Out of curiosity Morena entered the cave, and surprisingly felt no hate for any of the creatures within.

The girl looked at Levina, then at the one who had just entered. "Are you.. human?" She asked, stumbling a little on the word she had never used before, and was extra hard to say in the animal language. Morena looked at the girl about her age with a smile and spoke with her mind. Yes, I am human. I am surprised that any of our race can speak the animal languages out loud. Your song sounded like one of the nameless ones from the nameless islands of the seas. Morena noted the surprise the girl had when Morena mentioned the nameless ones. You were raised among them, weren't you? she asked, watching the girl's gray eyes."Yes, I was raised among them, and I am surprised that you know of them, and know our language." The girl said, showing her surprise with her eyes. Then she looked back at Levina. "The nameless birds who I lived with told me perfection comes only twice in a lifetime at most. Perhaps if I find it again it will be a different type of perfection." She told the werecat. She looked at the dragon, and smiled. She knew that the dragon had enjoyed the song.
I am a friend Ara. Morena said. I am called Morena.

Levina laughed. Thats stupid. True perfect doesn't exists. Every single thing has a flaw. But, as long as you think it's perfect, it will be, in your mind at least.

"I suppose you're right." The girl said to Levina with a sigh. "Where I lived nothing ever went wrong. Even the storms were good. It is hard to be thrust on a new land where you cannot love everyone, and be the friend of all." The nameless girl looked out the mouth of the cave as rain began pattering down from dark clouds in the sky. She remembered something from years ago... Something from a time when she was very young. "I wonder what the seabirds meant when they said they rescued me from a troubled land..." She said quietly, as she started to think about it deeply.

Morena smiled at Ara. "If she was raised by the nameless birds then I she is probably nameless as well. She has much to learn does she not?" Morena changed her statement to a question at the end as she didn't know how long the nameless girl had been here. When it started to rain, Morena looked at the falling water in annoyance. Even if she wanted to leave she wouldn't dare the rising storm. One thing Morena had noticed immediately was the nameless girl's beauty--not out of jealously, but out of concern. Too many people would try to get her attention because of that. Morena determined in her heart to help train the girl, and even make her a little hard toward men.

OOC: Sorry if you can't understand all of my English. I do my best to take away the Southern only words in my RP posts. anyways... Here would be a good place for more characters of any kind to come in. Evil, good, neither...
