The last of the Elf Friends? You have been blind to the world, Islanzadi, and lax upon your throne.' " When he says Vinr Alfakyn, is he merely referring to Brom again, or are there others scattered throughout the continent? Could there be other Elf Friends, perhaps Riders, Dragons, or skilled Sorcerers that could help in the fight against Galbatorix? _________________ "He touched his fingers to his lips and said, 'Arya Svit-kona,' using the honorific he had just learned for a woman of great wisdom." pg. 163 of Eldest Did anyone miss me? I was finally able to run with the wolves not just in my imagination but in reality with four paws of my own. Gender: Guy	ok i was bored so i went and found one of the oldest topics... Vinr Alfakyn doesnt mean "last of the elf friends", it means just "Elf Friend". Alfakyn means elf and that mans that Vinr means friend. So my name roughlly means "Wise/great Elf"... I know that because in the LE, in the History of Alegesia Excerpt, the elves are calle the "Alfakyn" several times. and i think somewhere it says that Vinr means friend. so that doesnt mean that he IS the last. But personally i think he was... untill Eragon. and i would still call him and Vinr Alfakyn because he isnt really an Elf. the dragons changed his outter apperance, not who he really is.. but then you get into how race doesnt really mean anything and i dont wanna go into that...
