Not exactly private, but this thread is kind of a brain exorcise for me and Rathon to keep our minds fresh for ideas.

IC:
Autarkeia Fincayra Vera flew idly, alone. One of those rare occasions that Thorn or Shruikan hadn't accompanied her. She reveled in these silent flights, luxuriating in the feel of the wind caressing her face and the heat of the sun kissing her scales. She sighed in content, closing her eyes and simply feeling. The sienna-dragoness pulled in her wings and fell into a lazy dive toward the ground. She opened her eyes a few moments before alighting, backpedaling twice to slow her descent to a standstill and allowing her to touchdown with her hindpaws, then her fore. Keia sniffed at the earth before circling once and curling up into a tight ball. She laid her head on her paws with eyes half-closed, almost instantly going into a deep sleep as the warmth of the sun washed over her like soothing water. As it was she went into a light doze, completely content to take a nap right there.

Xelin nodded once when she said her name. He rested his head on his paws and returned her stare, particularly when she spoke of seeing a similar dragon. "I guess it's possible, but not likely. To my knowledge I am the only one of my kind. I mean, yes there are many dragons, but none that I have met that are like me." He said with a slight shrug. He figured she would question him of what his powers were, so he asked her a question before she could. "So what brings you out here? Just a roaming wild dragon, or are you on a mission for one of the powers of the land?" He asked, actually wanting to know which of the three she was; Varden, Imperial, or Wild, because that could determine what kind of risk she may pose to him.

OOC: Im headin to my friends house....I'll try and get on his computer, if I can't though I'll be back later.

Keia tilted her head a bit to the side at his answer. She grimaced to herself as he asked of what origin she was. She decided to smudge the truth a bit. I am a wild mercenary, you could say. I am a wild dragon that does missions for both. I am no danger to you, if you are concerned about that. When I'm not charged with a job, I'm simply neutral to both sides. she purred, her tone deepening subtly to a soft allure. And what of you? Wild, Varden, or Imperial? she asked curiously. Of course he wasn't from the Empire, otherwise she would have met him by now. And he didn't smell of the Varden's stink, so he must be wild.

Xelin saw he tense up as he if were about to attack as she told him her name. When it came to her being sure, he simply rolled his eyes. Why is it no one seemed to take his word in these things? "Relax. I don't rightly care what your name is or who you're allied with. As I said, I have no problem with either power. And I seriously doubt that you could recruit me. For me to join the Empire, or the Varden for that matter, you would have to torture me, but first, you have to able to contain me." He said, as if hinting to some unknown ability.

OOC: Am I allowed to change something on my character after it's been accepted? I thought I had listed an ability, but I went back and looked and saw that I hadn't.

Keia's eyes narrowed. If that is what you believe. And I still have confidence that I could recruit you. My ways of persuasion do not partake in force. she purred, this time intentionally narrowing her eyes. She knew of the power her eyes held over males, and she unleashed it in full on Xelin.

Yes, you can go back and change or shift something you don't like.

OOC: 2 things. 1: can I add something in? Or does it have to be reapproved?

lol, No, you can add it in. And she means mesmerized, taken, enchanted with. All her seductive power is in her voice and in her eyes. Males can't help but be drawn to her because of how easy she makes it, tantalizing. Its a pass-time she works on with the other male dragons.lol

Xelin's eye twitched a bit with her come back, because it meant she was going to keep trying. When she slide under his neck and touched his scales, he flinched. He didn't like how close she had suddenly become to him. Then, he involuntarily twitched his wing when he felt something touch the sensitive area around the base. He watched her walk back to where she had been and resume ignoring him, and he grinned a bit. He had been to the shores a few times and when he had he watched the twoleg-roundear fish for food. He noticed that they would toss their smelly-dead-small-fish into the water to try and catch larger-living-fish by pulling on the line and then letting it sit still, and then pulling and sitting still. He thought this was similar to what she was doing. "Well, I know what I have to do. I simply have to wait until you tire of me and give up." He said with a grin. He figured he could restrain himself longer than she could keep herself entertained, but he wasn't sure.

OOC: erm...how was that for dragon-like thinking? I'm trying to get better with it since I might RP with other dragons at some point with Xelin...

Good for a start. I drop in and out of the habit with all of my dragons myself.

IC:
Keia chuckled softly, her aquamarine eyes twinkling teasingly. Xelin, I can keep this up for days, easily. she purred, still concentrating on cleaning her talons. She got up yet again, intensifying her purr to a deep, electrifying hum that she knew could drive even the hardest male dragons insane. This time as she wove around him, she never touched him, merely whispered around him like a ghost, so close that if he even twitched he would have brushed against her scales. She would occasionally pause, letting him feel her warm breath on his flank, shoulder, or neck, wherever her head happened to be when she halted. She drew back again and went back to cleaning her talons. How am I doing, if I may ask? And no fudging; I want the truth. she said sternly, though in a way that sounded teasing instead of scolding.

Xelin couldn't help but smirk at the irony of her words. "The key word, is Shadow." He said with a glint in his own eyes. He decided not to tell her what he meant, but let her found out on her own. He then receded deep inside of himself until he felt almost nothing of the world around him, and he Shrouded his mind. This took an extreme amount of concentration on his part, which is why he blocked himself from the outside world. He was now, unreachable by thought or touch. No more than a breathing piece of rock.

OOC: Shrounding is the thing I wanted to add that I forgot to the first time.

Keia continued to writhe and struggle with pain, feeling agony jolt through her as she was forced back into her draconic form. She cried out as Galbatorix finally won control of her body, subduing her to the very far recesses of her mind. Her scales turned dark a black, her eyes even darker, as the pain subsided. She got to her paws and launched into the air, using her abnormally large wings to catch up with Xelin. Galbatorix roared out with his thoughts, using her mind to channel them out so the black could hear him. Keia is mine, Shadow Dragon. I control her every move now. Run for as long as you like. She will catch up with you one way, or another. he snarled.

Growing impatient, Galbatorix stabbed ferocious at her mind. When he comes out, use every dredge of talent within your body to get him to Urû'baen. he ordered, then left her. Her body shuddered and collapsed to the ground, out cold, her scales gradually lightening up to sienna once again. She would have no memory of what happened, only that she had had a bad headache before passing out. But she would retain the order, and would have no choice but to obey.

Keia looked up at him with wide eyes. No...I don't. she murmured, slowly lifting her head up, wincing occasionally. Her eyes had been partially unfocused till now, when they abruptly sharpened into full clarity. She turned away from Xelin and sat on her haunches, shaking minutely. if what you say is true, then you should leave now. Galbatorix has done the same before, always leaving me with a last order. He will have told me, most likely, to use every talent or ability at my disposal to get you to the Capitol. And I will have no choice but to obey him, whether I remember the order or not. she said quietly, turning her head slightly so he could see one of her eyes. But she didn't look at him; her gaze was plaster to the deeply scarred grass on the ground.

OOC: Nice!

Xelin listened, growing more and more worried with each passing word. A knot seemed to twist in his gut when she finished. "But doesn't that mean that if I leave, you will pursue?" He asked, backing up a bit, just in case she decided to follow the order now.

Keia shook her head, looking away and closing her eyes. I honestly don't know. Perhaps, if he said so or not, but I can't remember what he said. she said. She got to her paws to leave, then tilted her head, confused. She couldn't remember why she wanted to leave. So she sat back down and turned her head toward him, but now there was the same enchanting gleam that was there earlier, but hadn't been a few moments ago.

Keia didn't look back at Xelin, even when she heard him follow. She was trying to figure out why he would suddenly change his mind, when before he had been so vehemently against it. She shook her head and continues on.

It took less time than she expected to get to Uru'baen. She roved her eyes around, searching for the dragon-sky-hole that led directly to the King's throne room. She found it, quickly angling her wings so she was heading for it. Galbatorix is powerful and manipulative. Do not let him get inside your head with his words. If you allow that, it's only a matter of time before he will convince you to open your mind and/or give him your Heart. she said quietly, then pulled in her wings to drop into the dragon-sky-hole. She landed with a screech of claws against stone, instantly bowing her head until her muzzle brushed the floor. My King. I introduce to you, Xelin. she purred, stepping aside so Galbatorix could see the black.

Xelin was suddenly very nervous as he followed Keia threw the hole. "Alright...I'll keep that in mind." Once they were in the throne room, Xelin stayed behind Keia and kept his head bowed. He remained silent, even after Keia introduced him. He was nervous now, as he hadn't though of a back-up plan or even how he was going to get out once his plan was complete.

OOC: I know how hard that is lol.

Keia was silent, letting the King study both her and Xelin. Finally he waved his hand,"Very good, my dear. You may leave now. Go to the Stable; Shruikan has been asking after you." he said. She glanced back at Xelin anxiously, but she had no choice but to obey. She dipped her head, then turned and padded out of the room.

Galbatorix tilted his head, pursing his lips. Then he stood and sauntered forward until he stop just a few feet from the black,"For what reason did you change your mind and decide to come here to my home?" he said, crossing his arms over his chest and spreading his feet apart.

Galbatorix tilted his head to the side,"I'll take that answer for now. Follow Keia back to the stable." he said, already turning away. It only took him a few moments for him to walk the ten paces into his private rooms.

Keia waited just outside the throne room door for Xelin to come out, anxious to see that he was still intact.
