it really is fun. with the guide, and including sidequests, took me about 60 hours. the dungeons are horrible (long and hard), but the game itself rocked.

how far are you?

weeeellllllll...if you have a guide, not to much, no. if not, yeah. also, do you have iron boots? cus you need to get those from your towns mayor before you can go to the mines

another piece of advice: make posts 5 or more words long, relevant, and don't double post within 24 hours of your last post

hey, no prob. have you saved the first or second light spirit?

if the first, go to the bridge and cross it, and, umm, its been a long time, sooooo.

if the second, wander around the village as link and talk to people, i think one will tell you something about your mayor, and you need to go to him, learn to wrestle, and get the iron boot before going to the goron mines.

if that doesn't help, try reading a strategy guide, cus my bro played this part, so idk, really. or ask shadowbane, my bros SF name, and he MIGHT be able to help

sorry, :?

You don't know what you're missing!! The Wii version rocks all. Fantastic game with a very well plotted story. Well at least true to the Zelda stories. I enjoyed the game thoroughly.

yeah, he is. but he had to go, so don't worry about it.

i got the gcube version, and it was fine, still loads of fun, and your arm never got sore!!

i doubt the wii was much different in graffics, and not at all in story.

it was the best yet, for sure though. i beat wind waker too, and while that was fun, this was LOADS better!!

hey. I have the guidebook. which 11 tears? which temple are you on?

Only second to Ocarina. Majora's was good, but Twilight was better.

being a wolf is boring at first, but it gets funner later on. especially when you run around Castle Town, and everyone is screaming!!

being link is the funnest, but a wolf IS pretty fun. the spirit is a twili, and you meet them later, but she helps you throughout the game. alot.

a guide helps a ton, i have one, but i think it's at my friends house. sorry

hey, ask you sister. she knows about siggys, and can guide you through that better than i can

nothing, he's just saying bye, like, see you later, talk to you later. etc. he was just ending the conversation.

and they do. the thing on your back is Midna, and she is a little creature that helps you throughout the game, she's against the enemy your fighting

no joke. but she is pretty cool later on, when she.....oops, no telling. but i wish she didn't have to ride on your back, it looks wierd and makes you look less fierce.

i love all the moves you learn, thier amazing. what i really wish is that once you beat it, you could save, but continue to do stuff, like fight various bands of villains, save people, go on minor quests, etc. it'd be lots more fun that way. learn new moves too

r all the new moves that u learn using the sword?

wow. that game doesn't do that? what a bummer. in this game that i have, jak 2, u can do that stuff, like walk around, kill people  , but u cant learn new moves or anything- that just wouldn't be an actual part of the game. kno wat i mean?

don't read the super small text in my previous post unless you want a spoiler.

yeah, most of them are for the sword, although one is with the shield.

she's always on your back in wolf mode, and while she's extremely annoying early on, she does get cooler later on: less arrogant, etc. and she has lots of secrets. i'll tell no more

you can play after its over, but since you cant save after the games over, you're save progress is during the final area before the final boss fights. you just ride around chilling, fishing, getting money and pieces of heart, playing games, finding bugs, changing into wolf form at will, terrifying townspeople, etc

and yes, all the learnt moves are sword moves, but beware; if you see a tombstone like thing with holes in it in wolf form, go up to it and howl, or you'll never learn all the moves, and you need them, but the glowy wolf isn't always just waiting for you, you have to summon him. a guide would help a lot, if you can get it. it saves you life a million times over

oh yeah, i forgot about the shield move

hey, did you catch the hylian loach IMNC?

ya but siege says midna gets better tho he wont spoil what she does, (thats a good thing.) actually, i do believe that u can do missions even after u beat the game in jak 2, rite arya? u kno, like getting orbs, unlocking secrets, etc.

wow thanks for all the advice, siege. i guess its not that bad- u can still do all those things, tho u cant even save any of it. dont ask why i used purple...

hey, did you catch the hylian loach IMNC?

of course I did. do you have the spinner?

whoa whoa whoa! hold up there! first of all, i tried to read the super small text by IMNC ( hehe...) by copy and pasting it into Word, but there wasn't anything written there! and second of all, who's ganon??? is he the boss at the end of the game or something?

of course. you needed it to beat the game!!

did you use the frog or sinking lure?

did you get the hawkeye?

and sokka, careful, you accidently doubled. Yes, gannondorf is the enemy in all the zelda games. he's big, strong, devious, and evil. also, very fun to kill. and its just as well you couldn't read it. it will spoil a large part of the game. so just don't.

ok, that makes sense. it was really hard, but eventually, after many tries and much frustration, i beat it. i used up so much money on it too.

the really questing is: do you have the Magic Armor, cuz it's amazingly cool looking

and what about the hawkeye?

good. the spoiler does just that, so don't.

i have no idea at all what u guys r talking about. but i now know that the game's gonna get much better- and more serious...

is ganondorf hard to beat in the game? because i want a challenge if im gonna be battling ganondorf! for some reason, i have the idea that he's really tough, knowing what he's like in smash bros. melee... :?

he's not THAT tough. it's just that you have to fight him like 3 times...or was it 2?

I love riding on Epona, and stuff. she's amazing.

did you catch all the bugs? cus i didn't

i didn't do it as i went, so... its really confusing now. maybe someday i'll get them all. some heart containers are so hard. u get the two after ones in the ice areas? i tried to beat the yeti lady in racing, but couldn't and didn't try the puzzle.

u get the heart container before the earth temple, in the roasting boar. i did, by accident, even though it's in the guide

huh. i loved that game. the zelda games can be played for hundreds of hours, cus they have so many side quests, games, items, etc. i mean, what was with the bugs? totally unimportant, but they added to the game.

it was a very well made game. i love how you can just relaxe, ride around, fish, and do unimportant things like catch bugs and go sled racing. you know? not to mention the graphics

the way u describe the game- it's exactly what i think of this game jak 2, which i mentioned before. i totally know what u mean. even tho u have like one main objective, there are some side quests that somewhat dont relate to the story. thats what i like about those kind of games. i really recommend the jak games if u like the unimportant missions that are sometimes included. 8)

by the way, i didn't read the spoiler... yet...jk!

yeah, you do have a bit left, but keep playing. i beat everything from the goron mines, second temple, on, by myself. and it's shadows game!! he barely played it after the first temple. i think there are 4 light spirits, so you're halfway there in that part, but then you have to get, lets see, the 3, or is it 4, shadow thingy's, then 4 more temples, then 2 more. but thats only like 10, and i keep thinking 11. idk.

you've beaten the first temple, the forest one, right? but not a second? cus there's a lot, and stuff in between. there are somany fun things in that game though

thanks. i might switch my avvy up

just a little  yeah, he looks awesome in this game. his clothes in all of them are simple, yet cool. in this one, he's older, and the graphics are great, so it's really cool. and a more serious one than the last one.

in the pic, he looks really intense. he's one of my heros!!

i know, they were horrible. this was the only temple i beat w/o the guide, and it was pretty hard. not the boss's, but just confusing without the guide. but yeah, the glowy wolf you met, well, you don't ever just find him like that again. you have to summon him at these stones. you're always in wolf form when you summon him, cus you have to howl to a certain tempo. which gets pretty hard, later on. its fun though, and the moves are incredibly useful

i know right? or if i do get there, she beats me, whether i take the shortcut or not. once, i made it there, was winning , and got stuck on a wall, and she caught up. another time i was just feet away when i launched off a wall into the chasm. thanks, though.

u do the puzzle with the blocks nearby? or the fruit flying minigame? havn't don the blocks, cus then i was lazy, and now i think my friend has the guide, so i need that.

eh, not that fun. the one I'm talking about is kinda hard. You are on a giant bird-thing and it carries you in wolf form above a river and you try to go through floating fruit. consecutive fruit result in multiplied points. You need a high number of points to win.

They're all throughout the game. You just gotta find em. Almost all of them give you a heart-piece if you get the high score.

I haven't bothered with the cave. I'm going to do it once I have all of the heart containers.

yeah, it's pretty hard, even with the armor and fairies tears, or even rare chu
jelly, and blue potions. in one room, you have to fight 3 darknuts at once!! it was fun though.

Yea it is really hard but it gives you a full heart container at the end as well as a fairy pond.

each heart container is a heart of your health. 5 heart containers (4 traditionally) makes a heart container. You get full heart containers after each boss battle.

pieces of heart come often from chests, minigames, etc and the minigames are a lot later in the story.

the guide points out all the pieces of heart, and other things too

well, yeah, you start with 3 and beat one boss, so you get one there. and since its a long way, just keep going. it took me a while too.

i'm not sure how many, but its a lot. 18? maybe? idk, a good bit. IMNC?

no, you get them throughout the game. from bosses and chests. the guide points them out, which helped me, as you need them a lot. i'm not sure if its 18.

usually online ones dont help that much. the guides r more official and give more details. when we were using one on the comp, it didnt even tell us where to find any of the treasure chests in the first temple.
