What do you think will be happening in the third and final book from the Inheritence trilogy by Christopher Paolini.

well, if Louis said 'think' that means an inferred guess from what we have already read and found out in Eragon the first book. And it doesnt take that much brain to know that we will know more after reading the second.

well...i think the first bit of the book will be dedicated to permenantly incapacitating the Raz'zac, then Galbatorix and Murtague wil follow in later on chapters, perhaps Murtague will turn against Galbotorix and die in the process...although there will be blood between the two brothers before the end of things

i think that galbotorix might not even be so evil...or maybe he is and eragon helps murtag, thorn and galbotorix's dragon be free and destroy Galbotorix's reign of terror.

Well eragon would fist need to kill Galbatorix first, because Murtagh has did is oath in the ancient language. For Mutagh it be be to late, because he has now shown us who is he truely loyal too.
For galbatorix it would must probably work, because the dragon never choose him, so he those not have a true link, so if Galbatorix was to die, he would probably no die.

i don't htink murtagh is rlly loyal 2 galbatorix (1) the only reason he joined him is because he is 2 selfish 2 sacrafice his own life 2 stop ppl from suffering (2) it looked like he alomost accepted eragons offer to try to undo the vowes but i think he didn't belive they could do it it and didn't wanna get in trouble w/ galbatorix and(3) he didn't kill eragon he just left him w/ awarning wichis probly the best he could do because of the vowes

and i noticed that in the end of the 2 books that it seemed that naussuada & murtagh liked each other like @ the end of eragon when murtagh was in the jail thingy he sed that she was more beautiful than some of the ladys in galbatorix's court and after the battle in eldest she seemed like sad that murtagh turned against them

Murtagh would have never killed Eragon, because is mission was to bring him and Saphira to Galbatorix so that they would do there oath to him. He needed saphira for the 3 rd egg to hatch and to repopulate Alageasia with dragons.

i reckon that eragon probably finds the old eragons sword under the menoa tree, (as in the elf eragon) and uses it to defeat galbotorix

The weapon from the menoa tree has been found in eldest... So only the rock of Kuithan reamains. Maybe he opens the vault of souls and finds another rider? He found Oromis in Eldest so... it could work

It was?...Did I miss something? Yes, I think that Roran will be the last Rider, because the egg could hatch in the beginning of the book, then Eragon and Roran could fly up and rescue Katrina. It also makes sense, Roran is the last family member that we know of so he'll probably hatch the egg.

NOOOOOO! DUH! Eragon sooooo didn't find the weapon under the Menoa tree yet! Yes, he went to the Menoa tree, but he didn't find anything!

Many readers will already know that Eragon lost Zar'roc when he was defeated by Murtagh. Now, the need is clear that Eragon will need a new weapon. It cannot be made by Rhunon, the greatest smith who ever lived, because she took on an oath never to make a weapon again. Even Brom was unable to recieve a new sword when he begged for one. It was said that Oromis had to knock him unconscious before he would leave. I assume that she must have made her oath in the ancient language or else she would have made a sword after Brom's pleas because she wished to help him. A sword, most likely the Elf Eragon's old sword, will probably be found under the tree because it fit's their need.

okay I have somethings to say... i was on a inheritance website (can't remember the site name sry) and it said that a character that has passed will return in the third book, and it was inserted by CP himself, because it was a website he started and it was listed under facts, so I think that Brom will return from the grave, the egg will most likely hatch for roran, and he and Eragon will defeat the Raz'ac, he hasn't yet found the weopon under the meona tree, and when Eragon goes back to Du Weldenvarden like he promised he would, will Roran go with him???

Roran will try to get his life back in surda... egg wont hatch for roran I think. Brom may return, but hate to be trapped under all that diamond. Who will be new dwarf king? nobody ever asks that? Will Orik, the new clan leader get his clan re-elected?

Brom is the best!! It would be so awesome if he came back! In fact he's so cool he might even be better then Murtagh

Well, if Eragon learns his true name he's gonna pwn Murtagh. I mean comon, murtagh was only stronger because of his true name. If eragon learns it, he will beat him cause the Blood-Oath dragon raised him power even more.

I thing that Roran had to die in 2nd part but few villagers beat many soldiers a they hadn't stopped even before those damn half birds (i can remembertheir true names and I'm to lazy to search for it)beginnig with R (they kidnapped rorans girl friend). If you looks at their skills you must see that they can kill whole village on their own-Paoliny should do a good scaring scene with half eated bones(remains of R-beast lunch...)and with dead roran they will probably be living twins and they shoud do many bad things And afterall Eragon looks lika noob near skilled murtaght but even murtagh isn't strong enought to defeat his master...so Eregon should die in 3rd book becouse Murtagh can't do another mercy to Eragon.

Hello! I just joined the site and I believe Galbatorix casted some type of dark spell over Murtag and Thorn forcing them both to serve him in the ancient language. I also understand that Murtag told Eragon that Galbatorix knew his real name therefore he has a hold on them. If the words or power in the Vault of the Souls holds the answer to break this curse, and save Murtag, we will not know until the next book.
I have the CD's, not the books and even though Gerad Doyle does an outstanding narration, it's a pain not being able to look up the facts in a book.
Has anyone heard them? Opps getting side tracked here.
I hope the third egg hatches for Roran or Ayra. Both have excellent qualities to bestow the honor, however can you imagine if Arya is the next Dragon Rider? Sweet! It would be a kick in the b__ to Queen Islandari as she disown Arya for some time for being the keeper of the egg. WOOOOOW!!!!

I have been scrutinizing each and any site that has to do with Christopher Paolini’s third book and there has been no official confirmation as of “Empire” being the title of the book, nor that the third egg that has not hatched being green. However, if Erya may be next rider, it makes sense that it would be green.
In regards to the green eyes, I think you are correct. I believe that is an ongoing issue which has to do with Harry Potter mother's eyes. JKR has been promising that this will be highly significant, but those of us who are following her books have yet to find out and only one book of the series is left to be done.

Try saving up some money and buy the CD'S. They are AWESOME! Gerad Doyle does so many different voices it's insane. Anyway the thing is that he does an extremely outstanding job, and you really get to enjoy it so much it's addictive. I have both books in the audio format and have heard them 3 times going on to the 4th.

I prefer books. It means you can imagine people's voices any way you want. Plus, if you miss something, you just have to move your eyes, and not wind the thing back!

One thing that I find cool about books is that if I read slow enough not to slow (normal pace) i feel like im in the book. Its awsome

readin is so much better, cos (for example) in the harry potter books, sirius black looks like ur favourite uncle, but as soon as its put on film it doesnt nemore cos the film makers r puttin images in2 ur head, so you dont use ur imagination
