 Re: brom?
Jeremy Irons was a great choice;he is an excellent actor, and I don't remember him in any film someone would regret his work.

 Re: brom?
Jeremy Irons is one of my favorite actors and I think he did a fantastic job as Brom. Everything fit, to me, even after reading the book I could picture Irons acting the part out in my head. I think it was a brilliant choice for him to play Brom, plus I think the interaction between him and Ed Speeler(sp?) was great and natural, rather then forced, as I have seen before in other movies. So yes, to me, Brom in the movie was Brom in the book.

 Re: brom?
i love the way they protraied Brom. he was my favorite character until he died, and maybe even after that. the book talked about him having a long beard and being slightly hunched over, but with all the finghting ans traveling he did, i just couldn't picture that. i pictured him almost exactly as jeremy irons.

 Re: brom?
Jeremy Irons did a great job acting, but his looks aren't what I pictured book Brom to look like.

 Re: brom?
I must give a resounding yes to this question, I think the part of Brom was brilliantly acted, and though the description in the book is somewhat different (though in the movie there are quite a few things that have changed..) everything fits nicely, Brom remains my favorite character in both the book and the movie.

 Re: brom?
Brom was one of the only people I liked in the movie. His acting was good and he doesn't even have to be spot on and compared to the other actors he was like a god lol.

 Re: brom?
Met'inks Jeremy Irons is some sort of film-god He's just fantastic. Even in the Lion King. He's got that voice, that powerful, awesome voice, that makes you want to listen to every word he says, no matter what it is....love him for that....
Him telling the story of the DragonRiders in the Eragon film was pretty much the best part, mainly because of that voice. He was perfect for playing Brom and would be even if he wasn't 8)
