 The Hurt LockerAny of you all seen it?
I don't think it deserved best picture in my mind. I get what they were trying to do with the main character being all addicted to war and such... and the sacrifices needed for story telling. But. Re: The Hurt Locker i saw it, liked it because i like war and i want to go in the army and go in Afghanistan or Iraq or somewhere. but as you said i don't think it deserved that award.
i just thought of something.. i don't know how the OSCAR thing works. is there a jury that decides who should win or is it by voting through SMS or something. if it is a jury then they gave that award to this movie because of the soldiers that died for America and everything. somehow they wanted to praise their deeds. Or their taste in movies sucks. |
