Terra the Nutty Squirrel

This character is based off of a squirrel we call Ned the Nutty Squirrel who always ran in front of cars in the morning, always at the same spot.

Name: - Terra the Nutty Squirrel

Age:- 18 (Squirrel age, not human years)

Gender: - Female

Skills: Terra is excellent with the sling, and sword (for a squirrel) and no squirrel has her speed, or strength, but her real skill is the Dizzy spell! For all her skills she practiced day, (and sometimes night) to be unbeatable-she succeeded against the other squirrels, but still can't hold her own with a human who's never seen a sword.
The dizzy spell is what happens when she runs in circles around somebody as fast as she can. Few can stay standing after watching her for one short moment, and fewer still for longer. When Terra finds that someone has the upper hand then off she goes, running in endless circles until her opponent has fallen dizzily to the ground.

Character Personality: Terra is cheerful, and always looks on the bright side of life--except when she can't find acorns at least. Ever since Terra was a little squirrel she has been energetic, and has done her best to be an encouragement to others. Another thing about Terra... She loves making jokes at other's expanse. Have you ever seen a squirrel who hasn't? Like most squirrels Terra is overprotective of her nuts, and always looking for more. Since she is constantly on the road (literally) she can't take many nuts with her, but she doesn't care. The only things she carries in her travel pack are nuts, and of course water. She makes nut pancakes, with an occasional berry or two, and she is always willing to share her breakfast with anyone. Overall Terra is a very likable character. Completely unhuggable, but completely likable. When she is angry, Terra goes around biting, stabbing, being mean, and grumpy. She isn't the type of character anybody would want to be around when she starts to sulk. Fortunately she rarely does it. Terra hates it when people brag--even though she doesn't have a problem doing it herself--and despises people who have too high of an opinion of themselves--which is something else that she has. Terra is the type of person (well squirrel) that loves to help others, but when she does she is always in the way, and doing the exact opposite of helping. Terra does not think twice about insulting anybody, but if she gets insulted... Let's just say nobody would want to be around her when she's insulted, and very mad.

Character History: Terra came into the world in a hollow tree on the very edge of a swampy forest, and began her adventures as soon as she could leave the squirrel nest. Nutty town, where Terra grew up, was on the edge of a great city (Teirm) where all sorts of good creatures lived... Terra and her siblings would run to the great road when their parents were gone for the day, and they would cross it directly in front of a wagon wheel, or humans, horse's, etc. feet. No matter how many of them got squashed it didn't discourage the others, and it didn't matter how much they got spanked either. Many times the young squirrels would run home pursued by dogs or children. Finally Terra got old enough to leave home. And she did it rather hastily as she wanted to see the world--and find more roads to cross. Terra was exploring the great city when she found her 'sword' "Foot Jabber" and she named it after nearly being stepped on, and the only thing that saved her was jabbing the human in the foot. Later Terra made a sling, and launched large acorns from it. Something rather painful with the speed that the acorns were flying. And then she began her great trek across the world. Terra was now 18 in squirrel years, and had her whole life, and the whole world ahead of her. She had obtained a map of the world, and copied down onto a piece of parchment that would be carryable. The only problem was that the parchment happened to be her traveling pack. At least she would have it wherever she went. And so Terra traveled the mighty land of Alagaesia, and found many adventures--often coming close to losing her life in someone's cook pot... She found a way to fix--or mostly fix--that problem. She stole an old burlap sack from a farm, and made clothes for herself, and thus she felt ready to take on the world. And now we come to the present time...

Weapons: A two handed sword (the size of a pocket knife to a person) named "Foot Jabber", and a leather sling named "The Acorn Launcher." Other than being small there's nothing special about them.

Likes: - Acorns!! Playing jokes on people. Running in front of people's, horse's, and other creature's feet!

Dislikes: - Getting stepped on.

Animal Companions: - None

Character's Physical Description: Terra is 27 inches long from nose to tail, and about 12 inches when she stands on her hind legs. She wears a dress, and cloak made from a burlap sack. Terra's rustic brownish gray color helps her blend into the dry grass or forest when she needs to hide. When she does not wish to hide, Terra stands against a light background so as to be seen, and her brownish gray becomes quit a contrast to her surroundings. Terra looks like most any other squirrel, except she is much bigger, and intelligent. Terra inherited all this from her parents, and them from theirs, who had been magically made like this.
