Proficient Sword fighting capabilities. - Raige isn't the best duelist around, and doesn't pretend to be. His sword knowledge is limited to 1 Vs. 1 combat and nothing outside the contest rules have every really been shown to him.

Various use of Persuasion - Raige has a special knack for "getting what he wants". Whether this is a use of magic or just a talent he has gained over the years he doesn't know. He uses this quite often, flirting with girls and talking to leaders of various groups around Teirm has proven quite useful of his young age and vitality.

Character Personality:

Raige has a tendency to go into a raging fit when he doesn't get his way. Even when things seem to be going best, his temper tends to grab hold of him and shake him from his good mood. With such a temper, he is always on alert to try and keep it in check. Not often does it escape his control unless something simply snaps in his brain. He is Open minded and easy to get along with for the most part. Men who fight with their wives are the quickest way to anger him, Raige has seen enough of that in his past, and isn't willing to stand for any more of it. Even if he isn't quite willing to accept love into his heart now, he understands that others might share that bond that they hold dearest to their soul. Apart from being a supposed lost cause for love affairs, he spends many hours of his day training. This allows him to withdraw into himself which results him in being a slight recluse. His Open-mindedness keeps him open to many different perspectives on topics he has yet to discover a opinion of his own, this being said, Raige enjoys listening to arguments and starting a few of his own. His mind may dwell on that of past experiences, but his body always continues on through the present to add more bad memories into his dreams. This continuance of the bad brings unrest into Raige's brain and he slips further and further into the dark depths of Evil. Perhaps one day Raige will fall completely into a fit of eternal pain and suffering unless one dame changes everything.


Character History:

Raige was born in Osilon, but moved to Teirm as a young teenager with a spell on him to mask his ears and other Elvin features that may give his position away. A wealthy family took the young and eager Raige into their home so he doesn't have to live on the streets. With such a high privilege as to live in their home, he took nothing for granted. Everything was earned in that household, his small allowance, his requirement to be home near sundown slowly grew further and further into the evening until eventually he wasn't even required to come home. Responsibility is crucial in Raige's daily life, and he makes it a point to take care of his body and the people he is around. Some what a "protector" if you will. Raige followed his friend's idea with joining the tournament that was coming to town in the dueling category. He had never even touched a weapon before, let alone use one against another living thing. Using nothing more then quick reflexes and luck, he somehow managed to get into the semi-finals. During his last match, the opposing fighter feinted to the right which threw Raige off balance. That was the last thing he remembers before waking up with everyone cheering around him. The cheering wasn't for him, however. The other fighter had swung his sword around and it had connected with Raige's helmet, knocking him unconscious. With planning and painstakingly hard decision making, he decided to leave the wealthy family he had lived with for 4 years and follow the tournament's path. Wherever they decided to have one, he would join. This undoubtedly led to him acquiring sword skills in the ring. Alas, Raige never actually one but a few of the many tournaments he followed. Competitors from near and far beaten him, and showed him little to no new moves for him to absorb and learn of. He eventually grew tired of the endless fighting and walking, so he wandered out of the city one day to tour the endless landscape of Alagaesia.

Weapons: At least a 2 line description for each weapon, if it isn't plain.

A Bastard sword strapped to his back that he had stolen from his last tournament. There is nothing special to it other then the fact he had used his nail to carve his name into the hilt.

Likes: - Getting his way (Yes, he is a little arrogant.), Pretty women, and fighting new and interesting people.

Dislikes: - Seeing women after they are hurt by men. This above all else makes him angry.

Weakness / Fear: - He has an over-exaggerated fear of falling in love one day.

Animal Companions: - None.

Character's Physical Description:

Raige stands an average size of 5 foot 10. Nothing too small or too large. His arms aren't built like that of other competitors in the arena, instead he has long muscles. Not bulging like the men who work the docks pulling large ropes and huge ships. He is somewhat skinny. His wandering the fields and forests have given him a natural tan.

Dreams for the Future: -

He has a dream to one day to win the biggest tournament around, even though he has never heard of one such thing.

Reason for Dreams: -

Living and breathing the tournament has caused unrest in his life until he knows that he can win that big competition where all the best fighters go to show off their abilities with the sword

Alignment/side: - Neutral, he has yet to full fall one way or the other.

Just a few things. I notice that under race you put human. Yet in the history its mentioned that a spell was put onto him to hide elven features? Elaborate?

Also you need approximately 3 more lines in personality.

Other than that, its not a bad starting character. Good for growth.

Ahh.. That is where I failed. I apologize. I had originally designed him to be Elven. But I had a change of heart when I wrote "Human".

Just let me go back and I'll correct those few mistakes!
