Sahara road her horse from a small village northwards. Though she still wasn't quiet use to riding a horse, it was much faster than walking. Not to mention she had grown quit attached to Shadow. Sahara sighed and stared into her hands. The wars that raged around the empire had mostly bored her, she tried to remain out of them, but still couldn't help but be envious of the flying dragons. Their power and majesty, all lost to her now.
"Better that creature had killed me!" she laughed aloud, though she knew she didn't mean it. She had grown use to being human, and though awkward at times, she had grown used to it. She stared behind her as another horse followed Shadow. She had picked up a few friends at the village behind them, and they made a small caravan.
"Where do you plan on going Sahara?" asked Glen. He claimed to be an ex imperial solider. Sahara wasn't sure if she should believe him or not, for he seemed to young. Still, she had seen what he had done with a sword.
"To the Spine, that Urgal stole more than lives in the city."
"You think the three of us can kill of an entire Urgal tribe." Leana said.
Sahara sighed and threw her bronze hair behind her shoulder. Often the sun made it gleam and made her look more radiant than she thought she was. "I don't want to kill them, I just want to know why a lone Urgal came all the way out here and killed those people, he also took something odd, some strange magic powder, I'm just curious." He friend shrugged and Sahara simply stared onwards

Savania circled the air above the empire. Most of the fool soldiers who thought to ambush her were dead. She couldn't help but laugh at them. To think a lone human girl would suddenly turn into a dragon, leap into the air, and make their armor combust. She laughed at that. Still she couldn't help but feel lonely. She stormed away from the Resistance Camp after an argument she, Eris, and Equinox had. It had been Eris who angered here more than Equinox, because he said she was too young despite all she's done and been through to be a leader or even remotly close to one in the Resistance, not to mention he said she was still often an immature lout. That hurt her the most especially after he commented rudely on what Crimson had ordered done to her. He apologized for that profusely claiming he didn't mean it, but she didn't care. Equinox just said she was getting ahead of herself and shouldn't stick her nose where it didn't belong. He had also called her immature and foolish and arrogant. Ok, maybe she was a bit arrogant, but not much. He kept saying how young she was. But oh know, Elcyon was her own age but she got to do all the dangerous fun stuff with Equinox and when she went off on her own no one said how young and inexperienced she was!
Just because she's his mate doesn't mean I'm inexperienced to rule and shouldn't go off on my own so much. My own sister gets to do so much and I'm treated like a hatchling! she snarled to herself. She didn't blame her sister, for this wasn't Elcon's fault at all, but she did blame Equinox. I'll show you Equinox, I can be a good leader and take others out to do what the Resistance wants. She grumbled to herself, she wouldn't let him treat her like a hatchling. That alone shocked her since she had fought by him many times and flew out and did stuff, for a time he treated her as she should be treated, but now he acted as if she was still a hatchling.
She was still complaining to herself when she saw something below, a group of three horses. She gave a curious glance and flew down.
