what are the spells and what are they usend for. (example...brasingr=fire)

well i don't have the book.i borrowed it from a friend and i'll probably never see him for quite a while.

first of all it brisingr and i'll tell you a few spells (hope my ancient language spelling is the correct spelling)

the spells just to what ever you say, but spells take energy from you and if you use one that takes more than you have, you die

spells are what they normally are in every book.....magic used to make stuff happen.....they just take energy

just read ANY of the books that are out! although the person at the bottom of page 1 is right

brisingr and kvista. (thus my name, though why I picked "branch", even I may never know.)

yeah, from eragon my favorites are brisingr and jierda....from brisingr (the book), there's too many to choose from. lol

sj? how many of the books have you read in inheritance cycle? i've read eragon and i've read 5 chapters of eldest. in eragon there were quite a few spells. but.....in eldest way more. and brisingr? alot more? i bet in the 4th book there'll be like 50 million pgs of spells!

don't tell me anything bout' brisingr please but.....were you sad when whoever-it-is dies? i really want to find out. people told me it's the 2nd to end chapter and that they were cryin there eyes out. i'm really excited to find out who!

no i wasn't sad. because i kinda figured who it was that was going to die, so it wasn't a shock.

even though i dont' know who these the characters are , is it oromis and glaeder? (or whoever you spell "it's" name) whoeveer those 2 are
oh wait , no never mind. please don't tell me. and dont' you miss the character? oh and by the way: isn't it kinda weird that eragon's fate is that he'll one day leave alagaesia forever and never return?

well yeah, i miss them, but i figured halfway through the book that it was going to happen, and i didn't like the person/people who died very much so....



i can't answer that last question without going off topic. but there is another topic around here somewhere if you want to discuss that

sj you are right i like weis heil but i like deyja better just because you can kill anyone and anything on comand and Australianrockstar you realy need to read the third book it is the best one yet his skils in writing have improved a lot it is almost bourghing reading Eragon and Eldest

i got brisingr for christmas.. as soon as i'm done with eldest of course i'lll read brisingr!
i' liked eragon ALOT more than eldest so far. but what makes brisingr so good that it's better then ERAGON and eldest? i'd like to know why everybody says that to me.

because Cp's writing style changes between eragon and eldest to brisingr....and in brisingr he finally decides to get off the parallelism of star wars. and a lot of other things change for the better (though some for the worst)

oh !! i didn't suspect that.........cuz i just started eldest! thanks...now i get it. yah some for the better some for the worst. just remember, ( i dont' wanna make you feel bad by saying this BUT...) it could get worse in book 4 ....maybe better maybe worse anyways.... did you know CP got a viking sword after eragon..he got something after eldest i forget what....and....he went drag car racing after brisingr?

People say thhat the rest of a series is never as good as the first, but in CP's case, I would have to disagree.

That is very true there are a lot of series that get worse as they go along.

I heard someone say that harry potter was like that in the fifth and sixth books, but the seventh was good.

well, yeah, but that kind of makes him different from the other characters. Hermionie is a genius, ron is the goof, and harry is the "prophetic one".

I liked the spells Oromis used when him and Eragon were doing the water exercise.

Yeah, that was cool. All I remember that water means is adurna.

My other favorite spell was arya's transportation spell.

I like that one too. Though it seems rather hard.

It requires a lot of strength to do that though.
