Skills: Druisk has always been very gifted with animals. They are very trusting of him, and once learning how to reach out with his mind, can make them understand his intentions, and 'communicate' (in a way) with them. He does not have control over the animals, but, if they are willing, they can assist him in various ways (warning him of various dangers around etc). He can also use their senses to heighten his own - he can 'connect' with an eagle flying overhead and use its vision to range ahead, smell with a wolf's nose etc.

Character Personality: Druisk is a strong believer in doing what is right, and he will make it known if he believes someone is being treated unfairly. He has a strong aversion to being near large sources of water, due to the stories of how his biological parents had died. It has been said that Druisk has a beautiful voice, that could "charm the birds out of the trees". He sometimes uses this to his advantage to charm people to get what he wants/needs. People are naturally drawn to him, and are very trusting of him. Druisk likes being able to captivate his audience, and to become the centre of attention during his performances. He is a larrikin, often joking around with people and playing pranks. He is fiercely loyal to his family and friends, and is always willing to lend a helping hand to make someone else's life easier. His personality darkens however, when there is any mention of a Shade. Since learning the truth from Micah and Kettricken, he has been consumed by a never-ceasing desire to get vengeance upon the evil Shade who murdered his parents. His sister Kestrel has always been a great support to him, and he feels as though he can tell her anything. There is nothing more important to Druisk than his family, and he will personally make sure that anyone who tries to harm his family is dealt with accordingly.

Character History: Orphaned at a young age, Druisk had always believed that his parents had drowned when the ship they had been travelling on sunk to the bottom of the ocean. His parents had set out for Teirm as Rohan had secured a job as a village sentry. Druisk was born 3 weeks premature, whilst on the ship. He was adopted by a couple, Micah and Kettricken, and has an adoptive sister, Kestrel, who is now 18. Micah and Kettricken had told him that the ship had hit some jagged rocks and sunk - with Druisk and a few sailors being the sole survivors. All of the other crew and passengers had perished - Rohan & Starling included. On his 14th birthday, Druisk's parents felt he was now old enough to know the truth about his biological parents' demise. The ship had not sunk on it's own - it had been obliterated by a powerful Shade who had been ordered to obtain something from the cargo of the ship (they had obtained this information from the surviving sailors). From that moment on, Druisk began training with weapons (favouring the katana) and hand-to-hand combat every day. He was consumed by his desire to seek vengeance against the Shade that tore his family away from him. He sought out the magic-users from the city and began taking lessons from them, learning to reach out with his mind, guarding his mind from external attack, and perform basic tasks. His strength and speed increased rapidly, and Druisk grew more confident in his skills, taking on new challenges and pushing himself to his limits. Some time after his 16th birthday, Druisk ventured out to the nearby forest to do some hunting for his family. He came across a wolf that was being attacked by a large bear. Taking his katana, he wounded the bear, forcing it to flee. Reaching out with his mind, he tried to calm the wolf and express to him that he meant no harm. The wolf was wary of the stranger approaching him, and was close to fleeing, when Druisk muttered "waise heill" in the Ancient Language, healing the wolf's injuries. As Druisk headed back home, the wolf began to follow him, cautiously at first, but eventually jogging by Druisk's side. The two soon formed a close relationship, and the wolf (whom Druisk named "Nighteyes") grew to understand Druisk's way of thinking, and in turn, Druisk began to develop some of the traits associated with wolves (a fierce loyalty to others in the 'pack', living in the 'now' rather than worrying about what is to come). At the age of 18, Druisk left Teirm with a group of entertainers. He has since wandered with them from village to village, performing as a minstrel, but his real purpose is to listen out for any news regarding the Shade who had killed his parents. Nighteyes accompanies him wherever he goes, eager to help his companion.

Weapons: Druisk has trained with most weapons, but favours the katana sword. The katana has a curved, slender, 2 foot long, single edged blade with a silver, square guard, and a long black grip to accommodate two hands. At the base of the blade and on the sheath, the symbol for breoal or "family" has been engraved upon it, as that is what means the most to Druisk.

Likes: Animals, singing/performing, being outdoors

Dislikes: Large sources of water (due to his parents' death in the ocean), Shades, people who knowingly do the wrong thing.

Animal Companions: A loyal wolf by the name of Nighteyes. The two are bonded together, almost as closely as that of a rider and dragon. Nighteyes follows Druisk and his companions around, listening out for any information of the Shade that he can relay to Druisk.

Character's Physical Description: Druisk is approximately 6ft tall, has a smooth complexion and is very toned due to his weapons and martial arts training. His arms and legs are well-muscled, but not so much that he looks like a body-builder. His skin has a nice tan to it, as he likes to be outdoors a lot. His eyes are a vivid green, which frequently get him lots of compliments from others. He never physically does anything with his hair, but it seems to fall into a nice "messy" arrangement, even after having just woken up. He generally dons green tunics, with cream leggings and brown boots, although he has been known to wear ridiculously extravagant outfits when performing with the other minstrels while travelling from village to village.

Dreams for the Future: To find and get his revenge on the Shade that killed his family.

Reason for Dreams: The Shade killed his parents.

Alignment/side: Druisk's only loyalties are to those in his family or 'pack'.

Very nice starting character. It will be good for learning from other in RPing, instead of just guessing you're first try.

Ah...it appears I have miscounted. Still there are already 3 approvals. Plus I doubt a missing line of personality would change much anyways. Delaying an acceptance over something like this would be pointless and it will cause no problems in RPing.

Whoops! Sorry about that! When I entered it into the little box, it took up more than 12 lines, so I thought it would be enough, but these boxes are a bit larger so they made it shorter.
