CP released that Arya is going to get the green dragon, and since it didn't happen in the 3rd book, i has to happen it the 4th book!

It would be very unlikely that cp tells people that information even before they start promoting the fourth book. Please give us a source for your statement.

I've allready thought of Arya being the next dragon rider, BUT if I were an author I would definitely not release something like that.

It's not on the site anymore but I was looking around on a site called Shur'tugal.com and it said it on the front page, a comment. Sry I didn't post this when the article was still up, but I didn't find this place until after it was up. And here in the united states, Brisingr is already out, and I'm done with it. It was released on September 19, 2008.

i totaly agree that Arya will be the next Rider(of a green Dragon), i figured that out a wile ago, but i dont understand why CP would say something wile that!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!

i have a pretty good feeling that Arya will be the next rider, because if you'll remember in Ergaon's dream right after Saphira hatched for he and and woman were leaving on a boat with two dragons in the sky

That's a good observation. I think Arya will be the next rider, and I really hope so too. She would be a great rider with all of her abilities.

CP never said that on shurt... he said "I know that everyone is expecting Arya to be the next green rider and I may have a few ideas in that area, but they may not be to everyone's liking" I saw that comment when it was up a while back to.

i guess i could be someone else. writers, like myself, like to throw off our readers every once in a while. it adds a whole new equation to the story. if CP believes everyone thinks Arya's going to be the new rider he might just make someone else that rider, or in order to not upset his public, who what Arya to be the rider he could make her be. it is really hard to figure out what a character is going to do, because characters evolve as the story continues. for example i bet it wasn't until CP got right up to the part in Brisingr when Eragon went back to Oromis that he 'found out' that Brom was Eragon's real father.

I have personally been on Shurtgal.com and it says nowhere Arya will be the next rider exept maybe in theories. And those are just theories!

I think Arya is the obvious choice as we know the next dragon will be a bright green colour and the main the cp stresses is how green aryas eyes are its in like every description of her.Still i doubt he would release somthing as key to the plot line to the public.

i think CP said that about arya to makes us believe it. he strikes me as the kind of guy who would lead his audience on because he knows we will enjoy pondering it. i would not at all be surprised if it wasn't her, but i wouldn't be surprised if it were her. the green eyes/green egg theory is a good one i hadn't thought of. but...

i think and hope that the next rider will be a dwarf. Orik's speech to be king mentions how the knurlan have never asked to be included in the pact among elves dragons and humans. he stressed how such an old and powerful race like the dwarves should not be watched over by an outside force. i hoped for orik to be the rider, but now he is king so that doesn't work. I know this theory is really strange and probably not true.

I think Arya will be the new rider because eragon won't have time to teach someone else the knowlage to be a rider. It would have to be someone with a lot of knowlage

i used to partly think i would be Vanir but now im starting to think that Arya has to be the next rider and will be the next rider. Who knows, she might even get the green sword in brisingr, tamarien i think?
