you tie the rope to the pickaxe and use it as a grappling hook or something like that

go to alaegasia.com (i spelled that right, right?) then go to activities, go to alagaegsia adventure game. you type words, like writing a book, that wrights some of its self.

to roll up the tapestry you to to the isle of G-M then you say "xyzzy" and the tapestry will roll up is pretty self explantory from there
