i think it will be the spirts because galby has all the eldinari save for gleadr(which would be nearly as powerful as some that galby has) and even if he found others galby still has the ancient all powerful eldnari of the dragons that want to ponder the questions that only they know.

I would have definitely agreed with that before galby killed Glaedr/Oromis.

i think that he will go to vroengard and get more elves but he will come back and kill galby Murthag and all the empires solders

i certainly hope that he wont kill murtagh, but i think its inevitable
but who knows, maybe murtagh/thorn will survive

i think that the vault of souls will ressurect somebody. so he will go to it and ressurect brom and his dragon and then they will kill galby.

I don't think the Varden can wait for Eragon to go and find more elvish allies. The most likely outcome is him either capturing more hoh in a raid, or the most likely outcome to Galbatorix's power, discovering the true name of the ancient language. The two things that could be in the vault of souls is this: either a lost place of the gray people with the way to discover the name of the ancient language or a vault of hoh that was kept in case of an emergency, that Galbatorix does not know of.

just a theory but couldn't it be that the "vault" is a place where dead human spirits go to when they die?

Think about it, that would mean that there are millions of dead human spirits, and if Eragon has access to all that energy, surely he could defeat Galby.

and thats partly why i dont think that the eldunari's are in the vos. wouldnt galby keep them somewhere where nobody knows in his castle instead of keeping them where somebody could find them? But its definitely possible and instead of transport them eragon could take their power and then go back, right?

I have an idea how he could do it.

he only takes one of the elundari (doesn't have to be big), leaves all the other ones in a pile, then make magical connection from the elundari he has to the other ones in the pile (don't know if that is possible)

They really just have to be close enough so that he can connect to them with his mind. So they wouldn't have to all be with him

I used to believe that the vault of souls held a whole bunch of Heart of Hearts. Now, I really don't know what to expect!

I think instead of destroying them he will help them change their true name and use them as his own. also it says (i can't remember , eragon, or eldest) that there is that place called the vault of souls, which he will get the eldnari from there too.

i think that there might be different hohs ( the ones galby didnt find), the most powerful in the vault of souls and that might boost Eragon's power.

or Eragon could boost his power with the power located in Aren.

i don't think that aren has enough power in it to defeat galby. Don't get me wtong, i has alot of power in it but galby has all of those HoH.

Eragon could complement Aren would other things like the energy from the bodies of all the warriors in the Varden...

It would be tight if a bunch of elves, those that had stayed behind when lots of elves crossed the sea, came from Alalea. and then they all wooped up on galby. haha.ha.

That's not really very likely and raises questions like why did they come, were they affected by the dragon-elf bond and how did they get the power to beat Galby.

maybe alalea is threatened by another race with like millions of troops.... and since these elves would be ancient because they're immortal and no wars would have erupted, and the fact that there would be TONS of them, like a whole nation, i think they could beat galbitorix.

Do you think that the spell between elves and dragons in Alagaesia affected the elves (if there are any) Alalea. Also why would the elves choose to come now and I think that you will find that there won't be millions of elves because if they are immortal they will probably be just like the elves in Alagaesia who don't have many children if they are not immortal then some would just die every year. How do you know that there hasn't been any wars on Alalea.

well see we could co back and forth like this forever its just those things are pure speculations and they're quite logical, as far as a fantastical book goes.

Did anyone think that the VoS isn't where he gets his power THIS time??? I know it says "when his power is insuffecient..." blah blah blah but it also says "when all else fails..." what if he finds a way to defeat Galby and uses the VoS next time. Remeber Brom did say not to conquer your enemy by force or numbers but to find a thing they overlook,themselves. Mabye he needs the VoS to restore peace to Alagaisia (SP). Even with Galby gone there are still going to be his loyal followers and his servants. He may have ordered that if he dies they finish what he started (Remember he has true names to make them swear by).

This is all pure speculation but the VoS maybe something to make you pull your hair out while you think about it, 'cause if I know anything about Christopher Paolini's books that is exactly what he would do to you.

When Oromis asks Eragon what he would like to learn about Eragon asks to learn about SPIRITS. This could be foreshadowing.

Well they would help a lot. Not a lot of people have survived when fighting a shade or a spirit, so if Eragon was bring up spirits, or shades, and then attack Uru'bean there's then a high chance of Eragon winning... That's only breaking into the city though, Galby's castle is a different matter.

The Vault of Souls might contain all of Galby's dragons heart of hearts he uses to boost his power.

Maybe Naegling will boost Eragon's power, if it is found by the elves and if they give it to him.

Maybe energy from the Floating crystal of Eoam? where energy is just surging.

Remember when Arya took energy from plants and other things, Eragon could do that as well to boost his energy.

Eragon could also get energy from his twelve spellcasters, don't forget them... Arya also told Eragon not to abandon his guards so lightly, so they could play a big part in Book Four, in the killing of Galbatorix.
