i doubt it. oromis is too weak to do any serious spells, and he said he was dying, so likely he is. It doesn't make as much sense for him to live, and there would possibly be a hint about it. He might though

I don't think he will make it through book three.....if he does awsome! but i mean he says he is dying and i don't think he's joking... why else would he tell eragon to hurry to elsemerra if wasn't?

Well, here's a second: I agree that he'll either die after eragons training is finished, or he'll live to see the empire defeated, then die. Most likely the first.
