Wouldn't Arya have had a dragon before she reached 700 years of age? I mean didnt the Dragon riders test and take those who passed the test and was accepted? Im sorry these are just the questions that come up with me reading the books and having people saying who the next rider will be.

uhh.... I don't know who informed you of her age, but she's 100, not 700. The only egg which she has been in contact with is Saphira, who was meant for Eragon.

sorry im confusing my sevens and ones today for some odd reason. Anyways. Im talking about when she was a child. Wouldnt she have been tested like Brom was and Morzan was and found capable of being a rider then? In the books Omisis (sp) was telling Eragon that Brom was tested. It didnt go into detail but I do not think it was always that of placing a hand on a egg. That started after the fall of the Dragon Riders.

It is an idea but, I am not sure if CP would bring in or introduce another being or race. I think there is still so much to explain that he won't have the space or time...but then again I have been wrong before. Definitely always is a possibility but I am not so sure it would happen.

WHAT NEW RACE???!!!! There isn't enough time to introduce a new character to be the next rider. That and we need to KNOW the person before he/she becomes the rider. Who do we know the best other than Eragon: ARYA!!!

there is a new race that has already been mentioned. the grey people. the ones who attached the ancient language to magic. they might come in somewhere.

i remember reading that in the books, but who are the gray people again? but i think its still a possibility for a new race to be introduced, such as the gray people. And how can we know if it's to late to add them. we don't know haw many more books there will. be. though i doubt more than 1 or 2.

the grey people were the first beings in alageasia i think. and there language was the ancient language. they would do these big spells and one day they did one that almost destroyed the world or something so then they made a new spell that attached the ancient laguage to magic so you could speak it and do what you want. and then the grey people either died or melded with the other races but there could still be some atround somewhere. this is mostly just a summery of what ormis tells eragon so i might be wrong in places.

and also about there being more books. it is the inheritence trilogy so he can make one more book or 4 more or it can't be a trilogy anymore

I think the afterwards bit of a book is called the epilogue or somethin like tht i m not sure.

CP made it clear that the Gray race died out. They aren't going to come back. And that would be a stupid plot twist. It's just not like CP.

Well, CP mad it clear that Oromis, as well as everyone else, thought the grey people died out. For all we know it could just be another twist in the story.

if you all have some memory you should remember that oromis said that in the spell whore included only the elf, the dragons and later the humans. so no other race could be riders.

havnt we already gone over this? the dwarfs could join, for example, but the spell would take a while to encompass them, so until that time they wouldnt be as powerful as the elfs and humans become when they touch a dragon

i dnt agree w/ the idea of a new race especially the return of the grey people they're dead!
