they need to redo the movie eragon

They do and they should. But I dont think they can.

Those are good points however they did a okay job all in all, its not teh best but not the worst eaither

Well that was the moment were I was the most excited after that point I was being critical.

I liked the movie, but then I saw it before reading the book. After reading the book, I have to say that I do wish more from the book had been added into the movie. Of course though, I am a little used to this, the same thing happened with 'Interview With The Vampire' movie, way to much stuff was changed from the book. I kinda look at it like this - like the movie (if you like it) for what it is, but don't compare it to the book, because it doesn't hold a candle. I do think they did great with casting and hope for a sequel. And since they probably won't do a remake, maybe they can find some way to fix what was messed up in 'Eldest', if they ever make the movie. One can only hope...

However, I don't know how many of you have the Special Edition 2 Disc DVD of Eragon, but they actually did have the Twins and Katrina in the movie, they just decided not to show those scenes. Which is kinda sad, because even though I never read the book, it made sense to test Eragon before just accepting that he was there to help them. As for Katrina, didn't know anything about her until I got the DVD, then wanted those scenes in there. ~ Shakes head ~ It's sad, this could have been a great movie like Lord of the Rings, but they cut and diced to much away. They should have never tried for only an hour and a half for this movie, if it was closer to two and a half, maybe even three hours, they probably would have done it justice. To my thinking anyways.

uless they continue to do the next movie then they have no need to remake it but they should....it was totally screwed....the only part they did from the book was the beggining and even that wasnt totally right....they messed up the story line

the movie did not make any sence when you read the book first. it was screwed up and out of order i realy did not like i agree with the kid with the list of things wrong with the movie

The movie had great special effects but the directors didn't focus too much on the script.They didn't exactly come out with what I expected either,which is that it would be like the book.Harry Potter movies had more from the story than Eragon did.But then again,the book was kind of long so the movie would have to be longer than it was origionally and it was pretty long.

I've just finished reading Brisingr and I feel the books should have been dealt with the same care(and budget and means) as the Lord of The Ring trilogy.All of you who read the books know that it isn't easy to condensate so much in two or three films,but it was worth the effort...

I have pointed ears in real life, and blonde hair, so I look more like an elf then Arya did! Also the urgals were just ugly people, they weren't big, and didn't have horns! Orik got cut out of the script... so did Hrothgar...and basically the whole dwarven race! I kinda liked this part, but what was that big "shadow-bat-flying-thingy" that Durza had at the end? I read on the site that they didn't even consult CP

who wouldn't give them bad reviews, it was horrible. i watched the movie first B4 i read the books and the movie almost prevented me from reading the books. Luckily the girl i liked was, probably still is, a huge fan, and i wanted to have something to talk about.

I liked the movie. They shouldn't redo it unless they make a sequel.

They might have been better off with a completly unknowned cast. At least they could have spent the rest of the budget they originally had on making it longer.

If they make it again it need to be the lenght that the LOTR movies were, otherwise you don't have the time to tell the story. To studio : Think about it you could have a pause in the middle of the movie if it long enought and people would go buy more popcorn

they did this movie horribly i thought. they barely introduced roran which is half of the next book. durza didn't kill brom in the movie. the ra'zac did. Durza didn't ride on that big smoke dragon thing in the book. they didn't even mention isidar mithrim. in the book saphira actually grew up and she didn't get shocked to a full grown dragon like in the movie. this movie was so bad that i don't think chritopher paolini should let them make another one.

i don't know something to do with flying probably, but you see what i'm trying to say?
