Movies get rid of chracters from the books and change the storyline what do u think will happen in the movie

I didn't think of that! I hope they don't get rid of any of the characters.

umm.... I think they will keep most characters (might change or remove minor parts) but I am almost certain the plot will change in some way.

they'll probably cut bits out of the plot to make it shorter. i hope they dont cut as much out in the goblet of fire.

I saw Goblet of fire (it was also last HP book a read) and it was...well I don't liked it

they will not cut out orik he is one of the main characters.

but hes a dwarf, and they are cool lol. if any thing they will brobly cut the part when eragon gose into morns tavern. and i don't like what the urgals look like no horns.

plus orik is mainly eragons guide and he wont need a guilde in the film

There is always Brom and after Broms dead there'll be Arya-Orik isn't nesessary character...

Arya is important she is the queens daughter,egg carrier and eragon has a crush on her

I think they might get rid of the beginning a little bit like how Roran says goodbye and all that leading up to Garrow's death. I don't think they'd cut out Garrow's death just all the parts with Sloan and some of the other stuff. I hope they don't but they might to keep it short.

Do you think that the movie will only be the first book or some of the second book? coz i don't want them to make a movie on the first book and then decide that they don't want to make anymore of the movies for the second and third books coz that would just suck. And we know who is playing the characters well most of them anyway... but who is going to be the voice of saphira? coz shes the main character

Its hard to say, movies pased on books often are EXACTLY the same. While some take a compleatly new path. But, I PRAY its not to different.

I know what you're talking about like what they did with those Series of Unfortunate Events how they made the first 2 but never made a second movie on it.

eragon and the first hp book are similar in size and most scenes are in harry potter (noting important is cut out) so they will probably put in all the important patrs but then again if they do make a movie for eldest thenparts will deffinitly b cut out like when they r in tarnag and stuff or traveling.hp 4 and eldest r about the same size and tons of sences r cut in that movie such a dissapointment i love pirates of the caribbean and the second movie is 2 1/2 hours long so i hope they make the eldest movie nice and long i dont care and neither do u probably so i think they should

i read on another forum that orik may not be in the movie, but i hope he is. It would kind of ruin the movie. well just a little. but if they take out to many characters i might get mad.

They're replacing Orik with Hrothgar, I think.

lol, that would be stupid. Can you imagine if they got rid of what they thought was a minor character, and it turned out they were the third rider?

That would be liek the funniest thing ever!

If that was to be , they'd just introduce him into another movie. It'll be like Hrothgar will just say "And I would like you to meet my cousin, Orik who will be your aid after that terrible onslaught or somethign like that.
