it is the inheritance cycle maybe paolini will start a new cycle where a new rider is the focus and eragon trains him

If Galby dies there will be no point.

When they go to the new land CP could start a new series on what happens there.

There always has to be a conflict in a story. There would be no conflict if CP had a second series.

but what about the urgals if they broke thier word (which eragon says they will only keep to as long as they have a common enemy) that would be a huge conflict.

If they went to a new land there is going to be conflict. Humans left where they came from to flee enemies that were far more powerful than they were and who knows about the other reasons. The elves also left and if they were running away from something than that would be a match for Eragon and Saphira.

We're never given a reason for why either the elves or the humans left their homelands. It is speculated in the books that the humans left because of war, Ra'zac, disaster and possibly being kicked out by other humans. As for the elves no-one is the books has mentioned why the left their homeland.

But if the humans had been kicked out by other humans than there would be no reason for the Ra'zac to follow them to Lagaesia and either way no matter where they go there will always be a conflict.

I think its more likely that CP will just start writing something else.

yeah there is a monthly Q&a site over at shurtugal.com or however you spell it but the possiblity of their being a new series i like but i highly doubt it
