You see, that is not of my liking, because he included an excerpt of Eldest at the end of Eragon.

(And CP answers: I am very sorry it is not of your liking, however at this point of the series, an excerpt from any chapter or part of the book would be revealing what os yet to come. You guys on the website have done very well with your theories and have even hit right on in a few of the event, but I cannot say anymore, sorry )

I don't believe it! I haven't seen so much as one crummy eragon DE here, let alone a release date for the eldest DE! If it's been taking so long for the eragon DE to arrive, how long is it gonna take the Eldest DE?!!! Plus I'm definitely not going to the trouble (and expense) of ordering from overseas!

i've seen eragon DE, but i don't care to buy it. i don't have room anyway (the only book shelves that have room are to small for eldest DE) and the only other inheritance books i'm buying is maybe Eragon in hardcover, and Empire (maybe named sumtin else) in hardcover, though i may have to get BookIII paperback first

WOW, Empire in paperback.. That's a loooooooooong wait! Unless you get it on a loan at the library.

i was the first person to read our libraries copy of eldest. not even the librarian who also wanted to read it had read that copy yet.

Then I guess you'll have to be on the lookout when it is finally published. I cannot take it on loan. I MUST buy them. I also will be purchasing the CD'S, that way I will be able to listen to it while I do chores, drive, etc.

To listen to them is an awesome experience. Awesome but expensive I usually buy two copies of the books. One to keep in my library and the other to tear it apart with footnotes and highlighting it.

for me, as soon as they set deadline for release i will be breating down librarians neck asking when they plan to get it, and when they do i'll end up (most liekly) to be first or second to read our copy, then later i will get me a hard bound, and get me a hard bound eragon, and keep them in family for 5 cneturies! (which would be cool if it happended)

There you go, so you have a good plan. Since I work in a bookstore on Saturdays, I'll get my copy as soon as it is released, and if it is released on a Saturday, I'll request that Saturday off, so I can read until I'm done!

me, i'll read eragon and eldest agian 5 days before our library gets the copy. (i can probally read in less time to do it in race)

hunh? i just wnat to read the book, and i will not post until i have read it, becuase i'm sure sum one will throw out spoilers which will (duh) spoil reading it. (our library may take a little while to get it)

I got Ann-Marie an Eragon DE for Christmas or Mother's Day, I can't remember which one, and someone had tore out the map. Since both Eragon DE and the regular edition had the same ISBN number, it wasn't until last week that we finally got the right edition. Ilike the DE editions to keep in my personal library; the regular editions are the ones I mark, place a million of sticky notes, highlight and write notes in the margins.

I vote for the ring and the history of alegesia since I found a picture of Glaedr on the INternet.
