For further info on Bow
Just an RP to introduce Bow and where he is currently at. The plot's fairly open, but there'll probably be a signs of an uprising war further on.



Bow snuffled into the clovers in a sulky kind of way before pulling himself up to examine his reflection in the river It was a cute river, and he admired the butterflies and little dragonflies that hovered around it. He also admired the yellow, red and pink array of petals that nestled on it's surface from upstream.

The outlining of his snowy scales though, remained of all different colours, for he was toying between being anxious and comforted. Comforted because he loved nature and how beautiful it was. Anxious because he felt lonesome, and if he were traveling along a road to no where with no one.

Whoever thought one would feel this way being with a Rider? he wondered, splashing water absentmindedly and twisting his lips. Bah! What is this? I am a gentleman, not an animal. He pulled himself up straight and made his way along the river, upstream and following the scent of faint smoke he'd detected earlier.

OOC: I would like to join, mainly because U'lfr needs to meet more people, lol.

IC:
U'lfr had been hunting. He flew over the trees with practiced ease. He continued to fly, after the large shrrg, until he saw the sparkle of brightly hewed scaled, immediately, he dropped to the ground. He crept closer to the dragon, and saw that he was a mixture of colors. He was both green and yellow at the same time. U'lfr thought to himself, Something must be wrong with him, I guess it would be safe for me to approach him, especially since I know these mountains like the back of my claw. thought the gryphon as he emerged from the underbrush. He warily watched the dragon, ready to fight, or flee at an instant. He said, Hello, who are you and why are you out here all alone?

Heh, same with Bow. He hasn't been doing anything, lazy bloke.

Bow blinked curiously at the creature that had emerged from the flora not far from him. A gryphon with light grey feathers and brown fur. Bow walked several steps backwards, warily, just in case this was a bad ambush. He cocked his head, though did not snarl, relaxing a little as the stranger spoke.

My name is Bow, pleasure to meet you. Bow bowed politely. And I suppose I am wandering around here, trying to figure out what to do next. Some unfortunates, you see, don't always know their path in life. Such is me. He dipped his head slightly, just to emphasize his words. And who might you be? And might I ask, what would you be doing out here as well? Alone?

I can understand why you might dislike alot of company, Bow said. I am not fond with large parties every hour of the day myself. Oh, I'm sorry for stumbling here, I didn't realise ... yeah. Plus, I'm not all that accustom with a gryphon's scent, as you can guess. Bow sat back on his haunches, straightening himself. It is an honour to meet you, U'lfr, gryphon of grey-feather, brown-fur. The outlining of Bow's white scales slowly turned green. Might I ask your proffesions? Alignment? Not that I necessarily care, but it's always good to know someone's background if they are willing to share so and so of it.

OOC: Ok then...

IC:
Hmm, ok then, as long as you don't always call me that, it would get very aggrivating after a while. said the gryphon to the dragon as he eased up a little. He said, How can you change colors, I mean there are a lot of dragons that I have seen, but as of yet, you are the first I have seen that can change color as you do. said the gryphon as he stepped closer. He ovserved the dragon critically with his large golden eye. He thought to himself, He doesn't seem to be the bad sort of fellow, I think I will stay with him for a while.

As the smell of the smoke grew, Bow's scales were beginning to turn white once more. It was probably nothing he should've been focusing on, but he was still curious as to what it is. I understand, he said. Looking for one? Actually, yes. I mean, I want to find the perfect soul mate for myself. That thought kinda keeps me going, you know?

U'lfr nodded, he understood. He smelled something and said, Do you smell something? asked the gryphon as he sniffed about, looking for the source of origin of the smoke. He continued to look about, and unknowingly got closer and closer to a dwarven cooking fire.

OOC: Pass, andI hope the cooking fire thing was ok, if not, I can edit.

OOC: Will someone join this, it is kind of holding this RPG up.

OOC: Was about to ask if you had room for one more ;O
I'll jump in as long as you don't mind my charrie being generally a bit evil.

OOC: Actually, an evil charry would be great, it would give Bow and U'lfr a common enemy and would help develope our characters, it woul also do the same for your character.

OOC: I'll try and churn a post out tonight :']

IC: A quiet hum filled the air in the clearing. It mixed with the trinkling sounds of the river as it washed over and around the small, jagged rocks that hid below its surface. "E G, A B, C# B A, F# D, E F# G, E E, D E F#, D B"

It was the tune to the song "Greensleeves". It was the song that Ebrithil always hummed when she was polishing and sharpening her axe. Alistor slithered along the handle of the weapon, his long body wrapped around Ebrithil's arm, his head resting on the flat of the blade.
She had been aware of the presence of the others where they sat downstream for some time and she could see the rising smoke from where she sat, masked by the treetops from the other side, Ebrithil had a very clear view of the fire, though not of the Dragon or the Griffin.

The fire had apparently been left unattended - there were signs that whoever had started it had left the area in a hurry. Thoroughly satisfied with the sharpness of her axe, Ebrithil rose to her feet. She hissed quietly and Alistor slithered down to wrap himself around her ankle as she slung the axe over her shoulder to where it hung, ready in case she would need it.

She made her way towards the fire, careful to stay far enough away not to alert any stragglers to her presence. Alistor unwrapped himself from her ankle, slithering along the floor a little ahead of Ebrithil as she surveyed the scene.
