did anyone else think it was weird that as saphira flew into the clouds in the movie, she instantly became a fully- fledged dragon? i've been thinking about that for a while, and i think it might have something to with the fact that she learned how to fly, but i'm not sure. what do u think?

I liked it. One of the few things I actually liked about the movie was the entire person of Saphira , how they made her. Granted, the spontaneous growth just as she started flying was inaccurate to the book, but it was very neat and it sped the plot along, made the movie not drag as much as the book.

it didnt saty true to the book but it was very cool ill give them that!!

the books are always better but if they had stayed true to the book the movie would be 3 1/2 hours not that i would mind watching it i dont think!!

it asnt a bad replacement but it did cut out alot of the bondin and that is really what most of the book is about...without that bond they would be useless

it was just weird how she grew up in like 5 secs i think even that think when they zoom in on her eye then when they zoom out again she would be grown up would contridict the book less but it ent that important

if i had created the movie it would be different but it cant be halped...movie creaters suck

When I first saw the movie I thought it was pretty cool but now that Ive read the book I think its just stupid how fast it happens

In my opinion they did it deliberately to save money. I don't know if CP had even watched it before it was put on the big screens , if he had he must have been out of his mind. Like someone before me stated they could have done something like..................

Not just..... she flew up in the air and shes fully grown.

But i suppose..... it was ok but it was horrible compared to the book.


Lets all hope they think twice about making the second movie as bad as the first. I am curious on how the second movie will turn out.

you know what would have worked if it showed her flying then it shows like night and day to show that time passed and she grew up also why did she name herself that pretty weird it like a baby just being born then grow up in like 5 seconds and saying "Hello mother I am Heather" lol

i think someone should remake the whole movie. i dont even care who as long as it follows the storyline of the book. even if the special effects arnt great. anything would be better than butchering the book like they did

well if you think about it if followed the book without taking anything out it would be like 5 hours. I think all they needed in the movie were Elva, Jeod, the Twins, Orik, and Solebum. Oh yeah and they need to get the character descriptions right like elves having pointy ears urgals having horns and dwarves being short.

in my opinion, that was the stupidest movie i've ever seen. it was a disgrace to the book. there was so many flaws. like the plot and of course, Saphira become an adult dragon in like a minute. and the gedwey ignasia was a spiral not a oval, the plot was wrong, the raz'zac were wrong, etc.

I truely cant stand the part where Saphira transforms into a adult dragon it was horrible i loath the movie with every thing in me!

Yeah, it was terrible and I have to say I liked reading the books more that watching the film. I they want to make Eldest into a film they will have to remake Eragon

If it wasn't called 'Eragon' and it just took ideas from Eragon the book, it would have been good. But the fact that they called it 'Eragon' and it is very different from the book, is what I do not like.

i dont understand why they killed the Razac at the begining, where will the anti hero's be for the 3rd movie?

They would definitely have to remake Eragon if they want to make Eldest or Brisinger.

Roran in Eragon, the movie, went to join the army. That's all I remember about him.

Also if the Ra'zac die in the beginning who would Roran try and rescue in Brisinger, and what would happen to Sloan?

To make more films they would have to remake the first movie, Eragon.

If the movie was to be remade and carried on, the Warner Brothers would do it nicely.

If I had made the film I would have made it a similar to the book as possible, even if it does turn out nine to twelve hours long, like the Lord of the Rings.
