Gornath had been traveling in the Empire for some time now. He had learned much in 300 years he had lived since he had hatched, but there was something in the back of his mind that bothered him. That was that he had never actually had a mate. He had seen many dragons who would have been great mates, but they had either rejected him or had died in the fall. He had since, Braith and Seren had mated been somewat jealous that Braith, his former student found love so easily. He wished to help his species grow, and to have the love of some dragoness that would help him in any situation, or that he could turn to when things got bad.

He had been resting on the forested side of a large clift that faced the ocean. It was early morning, and as usual Gornath had been thinking. He had been thinking about Anthor who had been off settling disputes on their home on Sharktooth. Gornath was glad to be free of all the formalities and the carefulness that came with running a dragon city. Lately the green dragons had begun to feel that the white dragons had wronged them in som eway, and Gornath left, just to get out of the turmoil. That was why he was on the North-Western tip of the Spine. He loved to watch the sun come out and loved the colors that came with it. He had been sitting there thinking about all these things, when something caught his eye. It was very bright ans shiny, like polished gold. He flew toward it, not knowing wether it may be friend or foe. He got closer and saw, it was a stunningly beautiful golden dragoness. Gornath had never fealt this way before. He had never felt this way toward another dragon ever. It even rivaled the relationshop that Gornath had with his rider, Anthor. He came closer, attempting to keep himself hidden. He was mesmerized by the beauty of the dragon in the dawn. He contined to come closer, untill the dragon turned and acted as if she had seen him. He got completely still and didn't move an inch, afraid that if he moved the dragon would see him, though he knew his white scales would show up. The dragon came closer, and Gornath felt more and more embarrassed, and more and more nervous, the dragoness stopped about fifteen yeards from him and snorted, Gornath could only hide his face in embarassment.

ooc: lol dude its Dawn! Dusk is the rider!

Dawn giggled as he blushed. Your funny Gornath. Yes it certainly has been awhile. Well since we last met me and Dusk tried to take over the Empire with some help from a couple of shades and a huge dragon named Nidhog. It uh didn't go as planed. What about you? Dawn asked giggling at Gornth's attempt to stop blushing.

OOC: oohhh. I was gonna join but I don't think I qualify......interesting aspect though. Do you guys have life 5 RP's just for Fanghur, CDG, RoD, and Voenth? Lol

Gornath looked at her and said, I fought Nidhog, and have the scar to prove it. He is one very evil dragon, but anyway, other than that, I have been relaxing, killed a few shades, the same as usual. Said Gornath, and completely unentiontally said, You are beautiful. When he realized what he had said, he again blushed, by this time his face was not white, but blood red.

OOC: Lolz, Gornath just making things worse.!! lolz, well, then just have a dragon, we don't want humans, elves, dwarves, ect.

ooc: Gornath lol he's acting like a love-struck teenager lol

Well your not dead, did you run away? I hope Dusk is okay, hopfully he wont run into Lakida. Dawn said now hopelessly concerned. Dawn stared off into the ocean, looking at the sun rays shine on the waves. Dawn stared at Gornath surprised and flattered when he said she was beautiful. Dawn couldn't help but laugh again when Gornath blushed, again. Well Gornath, your cute when you blush. Dawn said giggling.

OOC: I know, lolz!!!

IC:
Ahem, umm ... thanks. Said Gornath as he yet again blushed. He looked at the horizon and said, There is going to be a ver ylarge storm coming this way, it will hit this area before noon. He moved closer to the tree line. You had best come further into the mountains, this storm will be one to remember. And as if to emphasize his words thunder rumbled in the distance. He said, Coming, I know of a small castle in the mountains, it was where Nidhog nearly took my leg off. Having said that and happy to have change the subject he began to slowly fly toward the heart of the Spine.

Dawn looked into the horizon, the sun was being covered by dark clouds. The beautiful morning sun had dissappeared which made her stop glowing. He seemed to be trying to impress her with the fact that he faught Nidhog. Dawn with a smile followed Gornath into the Spine. So Gornath, wheres your rider?

ooc: I got an idea!!! I'll PM you

IC:
As he was flying, Gornath explained. Anthor is on the island, attempting to get the differing colonies of dragons, the white and green to settle their disputes. I really don't understand them sometimes, I guess t is because I am bonded. Laughed Gornath. He continued flying because the storm was now in plain sight, and it was huge. It was so large in fact, that the sun had been compltely blotted our and Gornath had to shine his white light to allow them to see.

Eliza flew over the strange castle. A bright light was coming near, and Eliza was not sure if it was friend or foe. She was in her black form. The bright light finally landed near the castle. It turned out it was just Gornath, a dragon Andep had met, glowing. But there was another. Eliza gasped. This must be Dawn! Danagon had warned her about Dusk and Dawn, Galbratorix's men. Danagon had a connection to Galbratorix, and it hurt him but every once in a while he could almost hear Galbratorix's thoughts. This was one of those thoughts. Eliza bit her lip. She went straight behind them, they wouldn't be able to see her until she came near. Then, she charged. Just before she came in to the light she turned the bright white and hit Dawn. Gornath! Get away! She is with Galbratorix! Eliza pleed as she got ready for the second blow. One of the thorns had cut her on her chest a small scratch. She is tricking you!

With a huge roar, Gornath pushed the white dragon off of Dawn and pinned her to the ground he said, She has done nothing wrong, how dare you attack her! He kept the dragon pinned to the ground and began to shine his light so brightly, that the bruises and such that had been inflicted upon both sides began to heal.

OOC: LOLz

Eliza growled, and angrily said, Let go of me! She went to silver and began shining. Gornath, Danagon warned me. Her rider is with Galbratorix. He wants us dead! She realized Gornath didn't know who she was, and had met Danagon a few times. My mate is Andep. She quietly explained. She looked over at Dawn and growled louder. A sudden surge went through her and she was able to get Gornath off of her. THe urge went down. Your riders will not be pleased. Gornath, have you forgotten what we fight for!? She fights to conquer! We are enemies, Gornath. Your opinions divide you.
OOC.:: I can't find a silver....

Eliza growled once more, before changing to the color white.I openly attack to those I oppose, those who [i]killed my rider![/i] She roared violently. I will leave, for now. But I will return, Gornath, and when I see you dead I willl have no guilt on my soul. She glared once more at Dawn, before taking Gornath off her. She then spread her wings, and roared. She said as she took off for flight, You are commiting suicide. Anthor will love to here about this. Dusk, as well. Now the only problem is finding one of them....

OOC: Time jump right? Anyways Eliza will tell DUsk and then fly off, and months later she will be there. =D So lets get to where she leaves. It'll be a while to get to Dusk.


Eliza flew around the Empire. If I were Dusk, where would I be? She hated herself for doing this. I am doing it for Gornath.... I can't let him die.

Dawn watched as the color changing dragon flew off. Was she wasting her time? If her goal was to kill Gornath then she wasn't. Dawn followed Gornath into the storm and flew very close to him. Gornath is it safe to be flying durning such a large thunderstorm? Dawn just then a huge bolt of lightning flashed. Out of fear she got even closer to Gornath, she looked up at his face and blushed.

OOC: I have an idea, I will pm it to you.

IC:
Gornath laughed when Dawn flew closer to him. He said, Nothing can harm us. We shall be safe. Sad Gornath as he allowed his huge wings to shelter Dawn partially. He landed in a small clearing and allowed Dawn to take shelter under his immense wings.

Eliza spotted a man on a horse. She had been searching for days. She finally spotted a man and knew right away: Dusk. She landed in front of his horse, keeping her distance and being aware. I mean you no harm. But I have some information you may find interesting. That is, it includes your dragon.

OOC: It is your turn Fanghur.

OOC: Anxious isn't she?

IC:
Gornath took to the after her. She was an awesome flyer, but there were very few who could fly like Gornath could. He swiftly caught her and right before they plummeted out of thesky said, I love you.

"He did what?!" Said Anthor in response to Eliza. "All these years, and he is still acting like a child. I shall have to ge get him." Said Anthor as he mounted a nearby green dragon and set off for the mainland.

ooc: just impatient lol

Ooo strong and fast? Dawn said as Gornath caught her. A bolt of lightning flashed at the two separated, it was done. Gornath and Dawn mated. Not as much as I love you. Dawn responded flying back to the ground.
ooc: time skip! the eggs are lain YAY!
Dawn looked down at her eggs, five of them. Pink, blue, yellow, green, and white. Gornath five, five beautiful children. You'll be a wonderful father. Dawn said with a kiss.

Dusk saw them, his dragon, with his enemy Gornath and five eggs! Pure fury pulsed through his veins, an anger that was unheard of. DAWN!!! Dusk screamed. His eyes were wide with anger, Nervena in his hand.

Dawn's eyes widened in fear as she saw her rider. Dusk. she whispered. Dawn could feel his hatred through their connection. She was frozen in fear, his thoughts were like a horror movie come true.

In a voice not his own, You will leave this place and you will leave Dawn alone, or I shall have to harm you greatly. I do not want to hurt you, but I will if I have to. Gornath placed himself between Dawn and Dusk as well as thair eggs. There was a white fire curling around his huge canines and he was breathing heavily. He was ready to die if he had to...

Anthor came to the area that Eliiza had told him about. He allowed the dragon he had ridden here to return home and he drew both his swords and set off running, worrying and his worry turning into blind rage.

OOC: We going into the life of Jason, because if we aren't, then this story is going to be too short.

Dusk in blind fury charged at Gornath. Before the two could do anything Dusk screamed "LETTA!!" freezing the two dragons in place. "I wont leave, but don't worry you, you cute couple. I don't plan on killing you." Dusk said in a really creepy voice. He jumped off Rhodes and walked towards the eggs. He started to rub the first one, the pink one, affectionately like he was going to pick it up and cradle it.
Dusk please, don't. Dawn pleaded with her rider.
Dusk ignored her. He tightened his grip on Nervena, and smashed the pink egg with the hilt of his sword. He moved over to the next one, the blue, and did the same. Pleased by the pain he felt from Dawn through their connection.

ooc: we can RP time before he hatches, remember our PM RP? we can move that there.

Eliza began going home. Hopefully Gornath would be alright. She wanted to make a quick stop to their place, though, to see what happens. They wouldn't be able to see her. She flew over to the spot, and gently watched. She couldn't see what was happening, and continued flying lower until she heard something....breaking. She saw Anthor, and didn't know what was happening. She didn't see Dusk, only Anthor, Dawn, and Gornath. Dawn and Gornath seemed not to be able to move. What the?


OOC.:: She roars when Jason is in Dusks hand, because she sees what he is doing, Anthor stabs him, he drops Jason, but Fanghur PM me why the blood is important.

Eliza roared, and went completely black. When she found out what was happening, and looked at Dusk's dead body. She went down to the ground and looked at Gornath and Dawn. She began crying. "Kill me." She looked at the final egg, and the magic began swarming around her. The black, white, and silven colors met at the egg, coating it. [i]The gift of life is one of most importance, and to have it taken away is a cruel fate. With this I say to you.:: I will protect this child with all my strength, or die trying. I shal make sure no harm comes his way. Finally all the magic from her body was in the oath, and she fainted in front of Gornath and Dawn.

OOC: Lolz....Gornath, why him....

IC:
Gornath went over to the egg and noticed, that there was a crack in it wher eit had been dropped. He began to shine with a wonderous light, and the crack on the egg healed, though whatever damage that was done to the child inside was already done and would be perminant, it would not die. He brought the egg over deeper into the cave and carefully placed it inside. Then he went over to the unconscious Dawn and carried her over and laid her beside the egg. Then he went over to Dusk. He began to burn the body.

ooc: what up with Eliza? lol

Dawn opened her eyes the next morning, she was next to her egg, her last egg. She grabbed it with her claw and pulled it closer to her. On the outside she was shining like gold, but inside, she felt empty. What was the point of going on anymore? Her rider was dead, and her flame was extinguished. She looked down at the egg. This was why, this one last egg s why she must go on. Dawn saw Gornath, Anthor, and Eliza together. Dawn could speak but she didn't. What would they say to her? How could you hatch for such a monster!? Or, You see what your rider did!? Dawn closed her eyes again, and cuddled closer to th egg.

Eliza watched Dawn and Gornath. She walked over to Anthor. I betrayed Gornath...I just though, Dusk is so smart he might have sent Dawn.. She looked at the ground. She opened her mind. I am bound by oath to protect this child with all means neccesary. Gornath, did the drop effect him?


OOC.:: Passing, waiting...

He wasn't always like that. When I hatched for him, he was such a sweet boy, I knew he would do great things, but I never thought.... It was when he met Galbatorix, when I introduced them, he changed. Please remember him as he was, not what he become. Dawn said standing up. She opened her mind to Gornath, Anthor, and even Eliza to show them her first memories of Dusk. A boy no older then eighteen smiling and laughing in the morning sun, playing with a small yellow dragon. The pair looked extremely happy. See? He wasn't always bad. Just when you think of him, remember that. Dawn asked all of them. Eliza, I know you didn't want any of this to happen. I can't say I forgive you, and you may never hear me say that. Dawn quietly told Eliza, she was still tired, Dawn felt like she could sleep for a week.

ooc: I got an idea!!! I'll PM both you guys! ^_____^

I know, and understand, how did you think I felt when Anthor in is rage klled Arget? There is nothing wrong with you, who needs fire, I rarely use regular fire myself. Said Gornath with a smile. He began to try to cheer Dawn up, he hated to see her sad. He said, Would you like to see some of my friends? I heard that Braith and Seren are in the area with their hatchlings, Valkaria, Zelts, and Vulcan.

OOC: Zelyts will come, but it will be before he actually learns he has his powers.

ooc: Anthor, the guy that always kills my characters. LOL

Anthor is different, he regrets all the innocents he killed on his rage, Dusk doesn't. Why did you have to remind me of that? I completely forgot about that! Dawn dropped herself one the ground, now more depressed then ever. Braith? Your student? He already has kids? Sure, I would love to meet him. Dawn said, saying no would just be pointless cause Gornath probably invited them over before all this happened. She never met Braith or his mate but she heard good things of them from Gornath.

ooc: alright so they're very, very young. Is cdg on board?

i am sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you. Said Gornath. You will like the hatchlings and maby even learn a thing or two ... Braith! Seren! Come over here! Roared Gornath. He soon saw five figures, two large, but three very small flying through the air toward them.

Hello, Gornath and Hello to you ... Dawn. Said Braith after he had landed. He said, Congratulations, I am sorry to hear about what .... happened, but glad to see you both are ok. Said Braith as he shoved a small brown dragon at the white and gold dragon, This is our youngest, Zelyts, the other two are Valkaria and Vulcan.

Umm ... hi. Said Zelyts nervously as his father pushed him at the large white dragon and the large golden dragon. My name is Zelyts, what is your name?

OOC: Just need to know what is going on here...for the simple purpose of finding out how to insert Vulcan...

OOC: Well, you can say that you just came with Braith, Seren, and Zelyts.

OOC: Ok. If all I need to do is say he came, then I'll just come up with something more creative.

Vulcan had been suprised when his father had contacted him, after all, it wasn't every day he got called to meet with one of his father's friends. It had happened once or twice before, but this was going to be a special one, for this time, the friend was Braith's mentor, and Vulcan had a very long way to go. The trip had been tiresome, and the young dragon had been about to land and have a rest when he spoted the glittering of scales on the horizon. Vulcan didn't rush forward as fast as he could however. For one thing, he was exausted, and for another, he had learned that to live for very long, you have to practice caution. The dragon decided to wait, when he suddenly spotted an extemely familiar purple dragon. Vulcan reached out his mind toward whom he suspeced to be his sister.

OOC.:: So when does Jason hatch? I will have to post that Eliza feels it. And won't all these people think its odd the silver black and white magic are around the egg? Ha ha

ooc: um.. lets have Valkaria, and Vulcan greet everyone then he can hatch. And remember cdg and RoD the triplets are young, very young

Jason jumped in the air when something touched him, though it turned out to be the big white thing. He looked at the broken egg, then himself and then the big white thing and he continued to switch between them for a moment. Finally Jason got, he looked up at the big white thing and yelled Dad. When the orange one started to sniff him, Jason sniffed back and head butted his snout to show he was tough. When the small brown one came up to him a lage smile crossed his face, he copied his excited squeaks, but when he started to walk away, Jason playfully tackled him to the ground and yelled Hi!

Once he got over the sheer fear of it, this flying was awesome!! The wind blowing against his face, the feeling of freedom. It was amazing. He wanted to do it for himself, not on top of someone. He looked at both his parents, they were flapping both their wings. He looked at both of his, it seemed easy enough, just move them up and down. So,he jumped of his father's back and flapped his wings.

Dawn felt relaxed,with Gornath Jason would be safe. She looked at them lazily, and saw in horror Jason purposely jump off! JASON!! she screamed. She dove down and caught him in her claws. Once he was safely in her arms Dawn let out a sigh of relief. What were you thinking!? she yelled at him.

I just wanted to fly like dad. He said as he pouted.

Gornath blushed lightly then looked deep into her eyes and said, Yes ... Yes it is more beautiful that I ever could have imagened.

OOC: TIME SKIP for about five months, lone enough that Jason has already left with Tialgo.

IC:
Gornath paced impatiently in his chambers, ever since he and his mate had a second egg, he had been nervous. He felt a special connection to it. It was a beautiful emerald-green egg. Gornath had made sure that none had access to the egg other than himself and Dawn. He had taken no chances that it could be harmed by anyone, after the accident with his first child; Jason.

Dawn really hoped he was kidding when he said Wind-slicer. Two part names just didn't sound normal. How could you name your child Fire-Star or anything like that? I'm pretty sure it'll be a girl. Rema? .... I love it. Dawn said happily. But then something crossed her mind. Rule when where gone? Isn't that the job of the first born? If we give Rema the crown wouldn't we be robbing Jason of his right as true heir, unless he says he doesn't want it. Does Gornath not trust our son to rule the island?

Jason started to think about what Tialgo had told him.
"You should visit your parents Jay, I'm sure they miss you. It's been nearly a year, I don't think one visit would kill you."
Jason sighed at the memory, he hated when he was wrong. But Tialgo was right. I had been quiet awhile since he went to Sharktooth and said hi to his parents. One short visit surely wouldn't kill him. He made a sharp turn and started to head for his old home Sharktooth.

I didn't mean to hurt you feelings, I just thought it doesn't seem that fair. I mean what if he does want to rule, it's not right for us to not allow him too.

Jason landed on the island later that day, his feet touched the ground without making a sound, so to grab everyone's attention he let out a loud roar. Once everyone noticed him, he was greeted by many. Only two in the crowd stood out to him, a White and Green dragon. The ones that took care of Jason when his parents were away. Hey, Keinar! Talo! How you guys doing? Do you know where my mom and dad are?

I know ... I know, I am just thinking of what he would best like, I don't want to force him to leave the life he has, that of a wandered and force him to live here, and I figured that a female might be slightly more level headed in matters such as this, you know from experience, you know I leave most things to you around here.

Dawn sighed he was right, in some ways. If Jason did want to rule, it was his right to do so. But the chances of him wanting that are unlikely. She heard a roar, it meant either two things. Someone was attacking or someone just arrived. It didn't sound threatening. She walked to the mouth of the cave to see what happened. To her surprise it was Jason.


Jason looked up and smiled at his mom, he had grown a lot in a year, so he wasn't very surprised by her face. Jason said bye to Keinar and Talo and flew up to his parent. Hey mom, it's been awhile.
