What about Brom's sword? Could Eragon find the sword if galby hasn't? Even if galby does have the sword wouldn't Eragon take it once galby was killed or steal it?

Eragon could retrieve the sword but there's no real point to doing so as it would offer no benefits to Eragon.

It could help eragon actually. I mean there could be alot of energy in the sword abd brom has already showed us that he stores his energy often in aren so i think he did the same when he had his sword

I doubt it because he wasn't very experienced then and later he had Aren to store energy in. I was also in my last post referring to after Galby was dead sorry for not making that clear.

Your probably right about that but it is possible that Brom did store energy in the sword. I think that Eragon should of got Brom's sword after Murtagh took his instead of making a new one.

No-one apart from Brom has the faintest clue where the sword is and Brom is dead so he's not telling anyone.

also brom may have forgot where his sword is or else he would of gone and got it before returning to carvahall to watch over his son (eragon) and also it could have been destroyed.

There would be no point in Eragon getting Brom's sword now, he has his own and its perfect for him. For some reason I thought that Brom's sword was somehow broken but I suppose that couldn't happen. I don't see it ever being found.

Yeah, I know. I really like Brisingr. A riders sword cannot be broken. I think that Brom's sword will be found though.

I believe that Brom's sword is in Galbys'es personal museum, but how could Eragon retrieve it when he does not know how it looks like???(Or he does?)

Because if he makes an effort to go get the swords before facing Galby (which is impossible) he would either ask what his sword looks like or take more than one sword.

No one would let him go do that just to get a sword when that doesn't help anyone.

Of course he will try to retrive it after the defeat of Galbatorix. Then he will take a lot of swords but still he won't know which one is Brom's.Except if he asks Rhunon. It would be idiotic if he tries to retrieve it before he beat's Galatorix, why to try to rectrieve a sword when he can try to retrieve the last egg.

He's not going to try to retrieve anything. He knows he can't and he is needed elsewhere. If Galby is defeated there would be no need to try, there would be no one to stop him at that point.

No one is going to let him go into the empire alone. Saphira always keeps an eye on him and she would know if he were planning something. She would alert others who would stop him.

Also, Eragon is not stupid. He would go to Galby's castle alone and practically unprotected. The swords and eldunari might not even be there.

I don't ever recall him calling the ring anything resembling dumb if thats what you ment to say, its a very powerful almost godly source of power, I remember Eragon stating before the forging of his sword that it woulld be only right since Murtaugh got Morzans sword that Eragon should have Broms, but he has his own now, I don't see Eragon going out of his way to find a sword he has no need of, especially if Galbatorix has it, there is no reason for anyone to do so.

If (and it is a huge if) Eragon finds Broms sword it will be after Galbatorix is dealt with if even then, you don't go to the stronghold of the most dangerous enemy you have and wander around looking for trivial things, Brom would brain Eragon with his staff for trying when he has more important things to do XD

It could be an heirloom, after Galbatorix is dealt with, but honestly one doesn't just leave such a precious thing laying around unguarded, its likely that he has magic wards preventing anyone but himself from getting to the Riders swords he had collected (if he collected them and didn't just dispose of them somehow) along with hand picked guards most likely (not your run of the mill footsoldiers) who would also have wards protecting them. He may even have those horrible night of the living dead/warriors who feel no pain guarding them.. Atleast thats what I'd do if I were a nutcase ex-Rider with really pretty things in my possession..

If Galby doesn't have it then it is probably lost and it would be almost impossible to find but because Brom was such an adversary, I think Galby would make sure he had it.

He probably does. Eragon would try to get it back though.

Not until after Galby was defeated though and I don't think there would be much standing in his way if he is defeated.

He might have it destroyed or given back to Rhunon to do with what she wants.

She might want it. She says that it is the swords she forged that created so much damage and chaos. She might want destroy it herself. she would never have it forged into another sword.

How exactly do you destroy a riders sword? I mean, you can't break it.

That's why it would be given to Rhunon. She knows everything about swords and is the only one who makes them for riders.

No they won't. Rhunon has enough material to make more swords. She would never consent to giving away another sword to whom it does not belong. Tamerlain will never be perfect for anyone but its original owner.

There would be no point to it and it would dull the story. The whole point of having a rider sword is to have it customized for you so that it will never fail you. Tamerlain will never be that sword for anyone except for its original owner.

She'll have to make it through somebody else though. She said that she didn't like doing it.

She would if she had to though. There are always exceptions, like Eragon. She would make another sword if she had to.

It wouldn't be dull if you will learn to appreciate things.
