OOC: This is my fourth charry (and probably my last (unless something cool happens in an rp)) :). This is probably my most unique charry so far! :)

Gender: Male

Skills: Fire: Kegan, although he is not a dragon, can breathe fire. Obviously it is nowhere near as powerful as a normal dragon's fire, but it is still enough to help him out. He uses his breathe of fire for many things, like cooking, setting up camp, and fighting. This ability he takes for granted, but he still has not completely mastered it. Because of that, he has to keep lots of spare clothes in his pack.
Magic: Even though Kegan is so young, he can use magic. He isn't a master at it, but he knows enough to get on with his daily life. He doesn't use magic very often, but when he does it is usually for something like a small healing.

Race: Half human, half elf

Hair: Blonde

Eyes: One green, one blue

Home Village: Kegan was born within the empire, exact location, unknown.

Parents: The only thing Kegan knows about his parents is that his father was an elf, and his mother was a human.

Character Personality: Kegan is a rather strange person. There is always some kind of worry perking up inside of him, and his common bouts of depression don't help either. He realizes he is but a young child and he shouldn't be all on his own, alone, but something just keeps him drifting. He knows he is too unlike any other child to try to start anew.

One thing bad about Kegan is that he can sway to any cause at any given moment. All he needs is someone to say some convincing words, a few white lies here and there, and he can be there most loyal friend, but at the same time, he can be convincing himself to do something else. He can't always be the best person in the world to trust, but at times he can be the best person to trust, you just can't let the enemy get to his head.

Surprisingly enough, Kegan is very nomadic. He never stays in one given place for more than a day, knowing that if he stayed there for too long he could be found and brought to an adoption center. He walks a considerably large amount for a child everyday, and has been just about everywhere in Alagaesia, except for the islands. He didn't know what it would be like to be on a ship, besides, by the time the ship would arrive to the island, people would've probably figured out he didn't have any parents.

Kegan is also a very powerful fighter. He can defeat most anybody, and he proved that to himself when he starting hunting his own food, rather than begging for food off of the streets. He knows that he could be a promenate chalenge to anybody, his fire ability has seen to that. He doesn't show his fire ability to most anybody, for fear that they would send him to the evil king of the empire, and he would enlist Kegan in the army.


Character History: Somewhere within the empire, an elf and a human met, and later had a baby. They named the baby boy Kegan, for his strange fire capabilities. About two years later, empire soldiers arrested the family, but on there way to the capital, Kegan managed to escape, but being as young as he was, he couldn't get his parents out. He was found by a band of traveling merchants, they fed him, clothed him, and then brought him to a small village and asked them to care for him. The villagers took turns taking the boy into their homes for a day.

The cycle went on like that for several years, until Kegan turned 7. He was turned away by all of the villagers, thrown out of the village, on his own, expected to catch his own food and take care of himself. Luckily, he had his fire power, and that pretty much took care of everything for him, and he traveled as far away from the village as he possibly could. As he reached some of the empire's big cities, many people tried to get him taken away. That was when Kegan realized that he needed to stay on the outskirts of town, and even then not stay anywhere for more than a day.

Kegan started his studies in magic with the many words he remembered his father and mother say to make things happen. He noticed most of them were mainly for healing, but some did other things, like bring water out of the ground and make things like rocks float and move around. None of those words really helped him in the middle of battle, but overall they did help some what. He mostly only uses magic after getting into a hunt where he gets hurt, witch happens quite often, actually. Luckily, like most ten-year-olds, he has lots and lots of energy. If he were still with a family, he imagined he would be using that energy to annoy them to the point of considering sending him to his room without supper.


Weapons: Fire: Kegan can control fire with his mouth. It is a rather strange ability, considering that he is not a dragon or some other flying, fire-breathing beast. He doesn't really know how he developed the ability, but he has just always had it.

Likes: The out doors

Dislikes: anything having to do with him being captured

Animal Companions: None

Character's Physical Description: Kegan is a short, blond haired, blue and green eyed, little boy. He has very simple clothes, made by himself out of animal hides. They are obviously not very good looking, but he doesn't care in the least. He has very wide shoulders, but he has an inward facing stomach, from lack of eating. He is constantly dirty, and since he isn't always around water, he sometimes doesn't get the chance to bathe for several days. On his back is a small pack, witch contains everything he needs (clothes, a canteen of water, etc.).

Dreams for the Future: To some day find a group of people that will accept him for who he is.

Reason for Dreams: He is unlike anyone else he has met before...

OOC: Just so everyone knows, I don't plan on using this charry as soon as I get three accepts. I'm going to get my writing skills down with him before I use him :) .
