it's really the book itself that makes it interesting. i don't know if you knew, but i think it's a good book becuase it's written by a 15 year old with and imagination like ours!!! and yes, someone told me that christopher paolini is 15 year's old. by the way, is that true???

My mom was looking for Eragon because I have her choose my books I read. But instead we found Eldest. I read it and loved it. (I have read Eragon now).

it's the style of the books that really matters to me like instead of being designed after Irish or scottish landscapes like lotr they are designed after Norse landscapes and stuff like that

It's one of those books you can't put down and when you finish it, well it's sad. You don't want
it to end.
Plus there is not a boring page in it. From the second page you're hooked.

I purchased the book on a whim because of my "See Dragon, buy Dragon" nature, but when I started reading the story I got jaded very quickly and I didn't pass the first couple of chapters. After a month I decided to try and read the book again, and like before I was getting tired of the story until I reached the section with the Ra'zac. Just like that I was hooked, so I guess it is down to the bad guys and the depth they are put into that makes the book excellent to me.
Go the bad guys!

If you ask me why I like the book, I don' know how to answer. I like everything in it. The way Paolini describe the sights, people, dragons. Specially the names of characters. And the fictitous in them

Let's see... That's actually a tough question...
You have the character's, the character's personalities, their thoughts, feelings, actions, and other things. It's like CP's own little fantasy world and it's all described to a T. He writes like Zane Grey and Louis L'amour and Tamora Pierce and Anne McCaffery all rolled into a 20 sum odd yr old guy named Christopher Paolini.

But I also love the vivid yet not boring descriptions, I love the humor, the red herrings included between lines, the mystery, the adventure, I LOVE EVERYTHING about them.

First may I say that CP is above all a genius in my eyes!
I really enjoy the books because for one it's a fantasy/adventure book and I really love those type/genre's of books...quite fascinating for me! But what really makes the books enjoyable and entertaining is the storyline and the characters in the books. I think we can all relate to them in one way/form or another and the storyline is brilliant. It's original and perfect for all readers and it actaully brought me back to reading some new books again as well!

First of all, I love fantasy books. I love how CP describes everything in the book, and I like the characters too. Also, I'm obsessed with dragons, so that always helps. I like the story line and all the twists he puts into it.
