IC: -sweet music plays through a small clearing- -a voice can be heard calling on the wind- Her tears they fell from heaven's sky, a stream of sunlight spilled o'er the land, as the sun's kiss blessed her, the warmth did heal her... -the voice fads and the music plays on begging you to draw closer- a sprite-kin sits on an old tree playing his lute, on him are a dagger, a wand, and a pouch. Flittering down from the tree he stops his music to sleep.

i dont get what to do

OOC: basicly its an open version of that "Other Adventures" thingy...its kinda like an RPG story talking game thingy...

IC: Apon wakeing the sprite-kin goes to find something to eat...leaving the clearing he spys a wild Rasberry bush. Taking a few and popping them into his mouth. When he finishes his snack, he goes to a quiet stream and plays his music once more.

reb sits astride her mount following music down a stream, then she spots a elf, she draws her sword and rides toward him

Apon changing his tune, the sprite-kin forms an image of a female sprite-kin out of the mist comming from his lute. while still playing he rises up and slowly dances around with the misty image of a former mate.

reb pulls cobalt up short and dismounts. She walks over to the man and taps him on the shoulder then backs off and askes
" who are u and why are u on the bank of the stream of death?"

from the disturbance the sprite-kin stops his music and his misty image falls to the ground. Shruging the Sprite-kin replies, "I am known as D'ran. And I come here to dance with the mother I have lost." Turning around he says to the intruder, "I would also like to know why you are here. anyone for 3 miles knows that I like quiet."

if u must know i am headed for the elven kingdom to find my brother, and i live on the bank of this river and i never heard of u

raising an eyebrow, D'ran says, "I don't like to stay in one place for long. But may I ask why you live on the river of death? Wouldn't your house sink under its merky waters?"

I dont live on it I live next to it and death is my job. I have to live here, i was forced to by galbortrix

IC: with a questioning look, D'ran says, "Galbortrix? I have not heard of Galbortrix, should I? Is he someone in the elven kingdom?" Picking up his lute the sprite-kin flits up to look at the intruder of his space. "You still have no told me who you are..." D'ran said.

galbortrix is an evil dragon rider who wants to take over the world of allagasia, I am A shade named reb, my father was and dragon rider, who was murdered by galbortrix

IC: D'ran shakes his head to clear his thoughts, "Shades, Riders, Allagasia. All these things do not make much since, there hasn't been a rider for Centurys, and there hasn't been shades for even longer...And the gods forsake me if I didn't know what Allagasia is..." Slowly flying lower D'ran heads back over to the rasberry bush, calling Horal to him he picks a few and feeds his pet falcon. "Why is it that you speak of a rider who probly never existed? And thats only if there was a rider...I barly hear of them in lore." D'ran speaks over his shoulder.

I should have ur head for that remark, my father exsisted but in secret, not many knew he had a white dragon named hroth. I hate flying so I ride my steed cobalt, come here boy!" I yelled

raising his eyebrow D'ran looks over his shoulder, "That would explain the not knowing" He says. Turning around, with Horal on his forearm, "I would also thank you to not call me boy again, I'm not a flegling. And also my appologizes for the ignorence of my words, I have been in this forest all my life. I do not care about the outside would that much." D'ran says, "But for my rudeness I would ask if I may join you on your journey to the Elven Kingdom, I'm not much help. But my music has certin, 'charms' to it if you will."

I wasnt calling u boy i was talking to my horse, and i think u should be proud to join me and dont u dare put an stupid elven spell on me." she said then walked over to her horse and took a white puppy out of a bag , and was trailed by a black wolf

sry for interupting but whats an RPG??? and isnt cobalt a horse off of saddle club its not bad i'm just courious. can you teach me to play this game?

OOC: RPG stands for Role Playing Game, kinda like ummm Final Fantasy or WoW and its kinda like you play through a Story, if ya want to join go on ahead. It would be more intresting.

IC: Through his laughing D'ran says, "I'm a Sprite-kin not an elf. Those pointy ear people seem a bit to proud, or atleast the few I have met." Snapping his fingers a droplet of water about the size of a marble float around D'ran's body. "But how about a Sprite-kin spell?" D'ran states, "And please keep the Canines away from my Falcon, I fear for him, he has been my companion since we've met" Apon hearing its name Horal gives a screach and nods its head, almost as if it understood what the sprite-kin said.

u dont have to worry about my kanine, for they dont eat birds, they only eat fish, and dont put any spell on me or u are gonna wish u didnt

D'ran holds up his hands, "Don't worry, I'm not the studied in magic." D'ran laughs, "Still keep them away from Horal for a bit, I'm not that quick to trust." patting Horal on his head D'ran says, "It took him a few months to get me to trust him"

ooc: this is my last post for tonight so sorry til tomarrow

" fine I will do so, but u must have something to ride for the ride is long and hard" she said mounting her steed and taking off into an canter.

OOC: I'll try to be on tomorrow but can't promiss anything..I get on when I can.

IC: Strapping his lute to his back D'ran nods to Horal and they both fly after the horse. After a few miles they catch up and D'ran says, "I will fly, I have no need for a mount" After thinking for a bit D'ran states, "Perhaps I have a tune that will help my energy to aid my staying with your speed" D'ran begins to play a tune never ceasing in his flight, and keeps pace with the swift horse.

cobalt was starltled by the noise and bolted, he was going supper fast

D'ran trys to keep up but slowly falls behind..putting his lute back on his back and stopping his tune D'ran strains all his energy in keeping up.

she looked back and saw this and pullled cobalt to a stop and whistled into the distance, and a brown mare came running out of the forrest. She handed the riens to d'ran

D'ran settles himself behind the mares neck, peering around he nods his thanks to Reb and calls Horal to him. Horal sits besides D'ran and D'ran starts the mare to a quick gallop and leaves Reb behind.

reb laughs and waits a little ways then blasts out into a full on canter over taking d'ran and then passing him

OOC: Welcome back Star

IC: D'ran gasps at the cloud of dust and trys to get the mare to go faster, but only to have it rear up on its hind legs. "Reb, Somethings wrong! Help!" D'ran screams towards to racing Reb. D'ran gets thrown into the air and the mare races the opposite way. D'ran sits up slowly and turns his gaze to the forest beside him, "Reb?" He says weakly....

reb couldnt do anything because she had been knocked to the ground by ogres and was tied up as cobalt was dragged to the ground. She had sent her wolf and its pup into the forrest to escape.

ooc: sorry I wasn't on yesterday.

IC: Fear struck down to D'ran's soul as he stared at the two unmoving eyes...then another pair of eyes, coated by white fur apeared next to the first, and D'ran remembered the wolves that had once followed Reb. Not knowing if they are still trustworthy D'ran gets up and slowly backs away. Then flys off to where he last saw Reb heading, Horal flying closely behind.

stay back or i will not be verry happy, she yelled but the ogres just laughed.

"fine u loss" she said and fire shot out through the clearing and the ogres screeched in pain then sleet can pelting down in knives. The ogres wouldn't back down

Hearign a battle D'ran slowed his flight and gazed through a shrub, "Reb..." D'ran wispers, "I'll get ya out of there..." Glowing faintly D'ran screams out some words he has never heard before, "ETHGRI SUNDAVAR" And his shadow rises up and takes the form of a Wyrm, A small Dragon with firey wings and no legs. Jumping on the back of the newly formed wyrm, D'ran draws his wand and his dagger and falls apon the first Ogre he sees, the Wyrm taking another. . .

no I yelled as an ogre struck d'ran over the head and the wyrm disapeared. I crawled over to him looked at the crack in his skull solemly. I killed the last ogres and looked down at d'ran

D'ran looks up at Reb, smiles weakly then faints. Horal seeing his friend hurt trys to push away Reb and see to D'ran, but helpless the bird is.

she got clawed by the bird and backed off

Horal looking around desides he can do nothing for his friend and pecks and claws at Reb to help him. Flapping around her face all the time.

she looked at the wound then placed her hands on his head and said am bli no duna se twa and the wound healed

D'ran's ragged breathing slows to a normal one and he falls into a deep sleep, dreaming of times when he was a kid and his family traveled the world. Horal after seeing that his friend would be ok, shooed Reb away once more and stood over him as if to say, "I dare anyone to hurt him."

reb went to cobalt and looked him over then lay down and sleep

Throughout the night D'ran tosed and turn but settled down as the sun rose. Horal seeing his friend never woke once, nudges him a few times with a talon before waking Reb and showing her the same.

she shoooooooooood the bird away and fell back asleep calling the pupy to make sure the bird didnt bother her

Jumping to a tree the falcon screaches, but not just any screach, this one could be heard for miles. After the screach the bird hops down and pokes and prods the sprite-kin's unmoving body with more concern.

reb getts up and checks d'ran and proves he is alright then goes back to bed

IC: satisfied the bird hops to a branch, fluffs its feathers and sleeps.

reb didnt sleep long for her head hurt and she had broken her knee when she was pulled to the ground. She stayed up most the night watching over the fitful sprite who was grunting and speaking in his sleep. When morning fell she packed up her things and went hunting.

She returned with a few fish and a pigeon

D'ran wakens while Reb is away, seeing her return he bows his head gently, "I am in your debt friend, Horal speaks that you have cared for my injury" Horal gives a swak and rubs his head on D'ran's side. Laughing D'ran says, "I don't think I'll say those words again for awhile, they left me weak. By the way, what did I say?" D'ran looks at Reb for awhile then shrugs. Standing up D'ran notices his clothes are starting to shrink in size. Groaning D'ran says, "I'll be back, I need to make myself another tunic. It should take an hour or two. Think you can stay out of trouble for that long?" Chuckling D'ran leaves to the forest to make his tunic, Horal closely behind him.

she shook her head and began to mend her knee all the while being rubbed by her wolves who had slept in the forrest.

OOC: Hey star, take a look at my application. Firetongue says its pretty good now.

IC: Coming back from the forest D'ran look at Reb, "Think you could travel? I heard there was a town nearby and I wanted to get some food for Horal. This part of the forest has been cleared from those ogres" D'ran motioned with his hand up farther along the road.

reb stood grimacing in pain, but anyways she vaulted herself on her horse and looked at the elf exspectantly

Flitting his Sprite-kin wings D'ran flys off towards the town, Horal right behind. Turning his head over his shoulder he says, "Whats wrong with your leg?" Turning back around to see where he is flying D'ran flys a little lower barely avoiding the tree branch.

it is broken at the knee she said then urging cobalt into a canter followed by the mare and her wolves

Shrugging D'ran flys on, Maybe she just doesn't want to talk. D'ran thought, maybe the town would help. Farther up D'ran got sight of a small roof, as more and more of them popped up D'ran exclaimed, "Well here is the town..Hope they have Rasberrys," as he flits ahead.

she was hidding deep in her mind thinking. " If my brother is realy here I am in for a ride. He is super pissed at me right now, he blames me for what happened to our parents. And my boyfriend is here wandering what I did and where i went

Seeing a blank look in Rebekuh's eyes made D'ran slow down. "What is it Reb?" He questioned. "If its about the town don't worry, people arn't wierded out by me here. So its fine being seen by me. And if you still don't trust me, you can wait outside if you like. I'll do the shopping fast and we will by on our wa...." Looking down D'ran noticed he has lost his coin pouch. "Oh darn...Must've been back at the battle seen." D'ran said. Then with a glint in his eye, "I'll just have to uh...barter with them for a bit..."

It is not u I am worried about and no i will go into the city" she said tossing him her coin pouch

With a questioning glance D'ran races towards the city limits, shrugging as he entered. "Whats has got into her?" He says to himself. Shrugging once more he calls to Horal and browses through the market place. "Hmm, I wonder where the food cart is..." As D'ran goes past a few shops someone calls out, "THIEF!" Turning he sees a man running from a bakery. Giving a big sigh D'ran flits above the crowd and falls upon the thief. Grabbing the stolen bread he takes it back to the Baker, "I believe this is yours."

reb dismounted cobalt and left her other pets outside the city and painfully walked into the town and was greeted by a angry shout. She turned and saw her brother and her boyfriend running towards her. She screeched and dropped cobalts reins and forgot about her leg and took off running


occ: i looked at ur character and it rocked and i have to go.

D'ran looks away from his talk with the Baker just in time to see Reb go back through the city gates. Where is she going now? D'ran thought. Watching for a bit longer he notices two elves chasing after her. With a sigh D'ran flits up and thanks the Baker for the chat and the food he had given him. Flying out towards the gates D'ran stops to buy two cloaks and a bagful of rasberrys. D'ran slips into his cloak and puts the other in his backpack along with the berrys. Now with the bag full D'ran and Horal try to catch up to the fleeing Reb and her two followers. All the while D'ran is thinking, I can't leave her alone for a second. All I do is sit for a nice chat with a friend and she gets into trouble.

Reb noticed d'ran and told him to land. " U are always following me, i wish u would have stayed in the town, now u will probably die." She shouted then glared at him.

Smiling D'ran replies with, "Hey if its dangerous its gonna be fun! And here, I got you this, the baker said its gonna snow sometime soon and I thought they would help." Reaching into his backpack D'ran pulls out the second cloak and hands it to Reb. "Besides, why would I die now? If its to do with those elves, just fix whatever ya did...What did you do?" D'ran says with one eyebrow raised.

for one thing those elves were my brother he blames me for our parents deaths seventeen years ago, and my boy friend thinks I murdered someone, which I haven't so there fore I have nothing to fix she said angrily. Her shade half showing through into the unsuspecting surface world

Grinning ear to ear D'ran says, "Then this will be fun!" Taking his lute from his back he begins to play a mystical tune that forms a pool of water at his feet. It worked? It worked! D'ran says in his head, But this song never worked before! Ok, now I get to play! Putting the lute back on his back he draws his dagger and wand. "Give me the word and I'll help in any way I can!" He tells Reb.

u can not help me hear even if I get hurt, fore they do not believe me nomatter what and i have to take care of this myself. She said as her brother showed up into the clearing, followed by her boyfriend, at this point her shade half took over, she had no control.

Lowering his arms in confusion, D'ran looks between the male elf and Reb. "Are you sure?" He asks. "Because I can help...." D'ran looks around for a moment and calls Horal to him. Sighing D'ran flits to a tree a ways back and watches from a branch. "Well Horal, if she doesn't win then we can play..." D'ran says to his friend. Horal gives a screech and watches intently.

D'ran seeing the quick battle goes wide eyed and turns to Horal, "Remind me not to get her mad." He tells him. D'ran quickly flys over to reb to ask her how she had done that only to see her fall. reaching out D'ran grabs her and slows her fall to a rest on the ground. "Horal don't let anything touch her why I go look for a doctor," D'ran says to his falcon. As he quickly flys off towards the town, Horal slowly edges towards her, not fully trusting her after the battle.

She quietly slept thinking about the day she was found in the thicket by the old shade. He was smilling at her then gently lifted her out. He had taken care of her for many years, and it pained her the day she watched him die. She rose out of the sleep in a fitful spasm. She saw horal and backed away not fully remembering what happened, until an hour later. She rubbed her arms to radiate heat. Her wolves came out of the woods and layed beside her. She looked around for D'ran.

D'ran slowly flew out of the town, seeing Reb sitting up he quickened his pace. "Everyone has dissapeared..." D'ran said with confusion, "And what did you do to those elves? They arn't anywhere near here...And it seems the town with with them. All that is left is the gates." Horal flapped to D'rans side and watched Reb's wolves. Are you ever going to get over them Horal? D'ran though. Blinking a few times he spins for no reason and says to Reb, "Well, atleast it wasn't a boring fight! Come on, lets get going. I don't want to stay around this area incase the Ogres come back." Fixing his cloak, D'ran stops hoving and walks down the road. "Coming?" D'ran asks over his shoulder.

there was a hord of ogres coming so I sent the town farther down the river and the elves went somwhere far away from here. I didnt do anything to them, a shade did" She said climbing on cobalt and walking the horse next to him

Then apprears man dressed in black all over, he wields a great sword called the solus great sword.

cobalt snorted and looked directly looked into the eyes of the stranger with intelegent eyes that questioned him. " Who goes there and how long have you been here?" Reb demands

D'ran quickly draws his dagger and wand and flits up so his head is lever with Reb's. "Why do you apear now? And with a weapon drawn?" D'ran questions. Horal giving a screech flys up with D'ran. Hey, Horal. What do you think we should do to him? D'ran says in his mind. Horal gives a small screech almost like he can read the mind of his friend. "You better explain youself fast stranger" D'ran says.

He heres someone shouting "wait please wait" He turns to see a girl about seventeen running up to them "we can work this out please. He notices that he ears a pointed but pays no attention to that and pushes it to the back of his mind.

OOC: good entrence but a little god moody most peopl don't like other ones telling what their chars do.

IC: D'ran opens his eyes wide. "Its you! I thought you were on the other side of the world!" He says. Forgetting about the new man, D'ran flys over towards the newest newcomer. Slowing down D'ran gets a weird look in his eyes, "Wait...are you traveling with him?" D'ran motions to behind him.

OOC: sorry

IC: She throughs her arms around him not caring if people looked at her weird, it had been such a long time since she last saw him she backed away, she could not get over the fact he was actually here with her. She tucked a strand of her blonde hair behind her ear.

OOC: its ko it really was a good entrance

IC: Returning the embrace D'ran says, "You still havn't answered my question..." Shaking his head as if to uncloud it, "Sorry, please forgive me. I have not been as trusting since the battle." D'rans eyes lite up with hope and looks at his friend a bit more, "Have you seen Nyo? He has to hear what happened! We were split at the battle! I must find him." Caught between two worlds, one of friendship and one of an intruder, D'ran looks over at his falcon.

OOC: Thanks (blushing)

IC: She looks down then into his eyes it seemed as though she was about to cry. She was hesitent before she awnsered "he did not return." She said as a tear sild down her ivory skin. She turned away so he wouldnt see her cry.

Sighing D'ran looks back to the newest person, "We will have to find him then...He has to hear about my mother.." Flexing his wings D'ran looks around for something to draw his attention. Horal senses his friends discomfort from the news and gives a small screech. Smiling D'ran scratches Horal's cheek. "Oh, this is Horal. He has come across me in my journey along the forest."

"He is very hansome" she said smiling. "we must get back to the matter at hand are you going to deal with this so called stranger or wok it out?" she always talks as she's flirting but in this case she really is.

Turning his head D'ran looks at the man in black and at Reb, "I'm not entirely sure. Horal thinks we should tear his guts out and leave them for Reb's wolves. What do you think we should do..." Looking back towards the Elf, "Wait...you still haven't answered my question, Are you traveling with this man?"

"no i am not but that dose not mean i wont defend his life he deserves a chance to explain himself" she said defensivly. "would i not do the same for you or anyone else?" se asked courious of his awnser.

OOC: I have to go in an hour.

IC:Sighing again D'ran looks back at the man. "So what should we do? In the very least we need to take away his weapon so he is not a harm. Then after he has proved no danger we will give it back." Looking back at the elf he says, "Don't you agree, it seems fair to me." Without waiting for an answer D'ran goes over to take the sword from the man.

OOC: I have to go in an hour too.

IC: "I say you ask him and then we can leave" she paused "wait i can travel with you right?" she worried that he would say no and she she looked in his eyes trying to see what his emothions were.

Smiling D'ran says, "Its fine with me. But Reb on the otherhand...Well she might, but I'm not entirely sure." Flitting up to his friends eye level D'ran sheaths his weapons and pulls off his lute, "Oh yeah, I know magic songs now watch..." D'ran pluck a few strings to warm up then goes into a song..."Her light shone bright into the night, an aura clung invoking fright, a book she held spun within the air, as she summoned shadows to her enchanting call..."

She was in aw " that was amazing" she looked at him as if falling in love when she noticed she looked away hoping he didn't notice "well if i can't go with you i will travel to the forest is no big deal" she wanted to travel with him but relized she might get in the way.

Grinning at his compliment he pulls out the man's sword from behind his back, "I don't like to use the song much but I don't trust him for me to go close enough to grab it that way. But when he has explained himself he can have it back." Looking at the elf D'ran sees an weird look coming from her, "Umm, whats with you?" He says. D'ran stops playing the lute and puts it on his back.

"nothing uh i was just...thinking" she says hoping he'll buy it. "so are you gonna deal with him?" she says pointing at the stranger so he'll stop looking at her.

Shruggin D'ran replies, "I'll let him make the first move. I've been doing that a lot lately, not making the first move that is. I guess its because if they make a friendly move I shouldn't harm them." Then remembering, "If Reb doesn't agree just follow anyway. I don't see any harm in it." Then D'ran turns back and goes to hand the man's sword to Reb.


OOC: Can't do anything he is offline so he wont reply.

OOC: how are we suppose to make the story go on if we cant do anything? If this dosent sound good tell me and i'll edit it.

IC: "maybe thats smart" she said smiling. "do you think he would mind if we went and talked...alone?" she asked "he'll be here when we get back just bring his sword with."

OOC: yeah that will work.


IC: Nodding his aproval D'ran hands the sword to Reb for safe keeping. "That thing is heavy" D'ran jokes. Heading to the line of trees D'ran calls his falcon over and looks over his shoulder at the elf, "You coming?" and flys off.

she holds back a smile "yes" and they start walking "i've missed you so much"

OOC: sorry its short i dont have a lot of time

Smiling at the words D'ran says, "Oh, really? Even if you missed me why travel half way across the world?" Nudging Saheit, he says, "The battle has changed me much. I'm not myself." With a blank stare he goes on, "I see enemies everywhere in everything. I can't trust even my closest friends with as much trust I had before. At first I could never sleep. Every sound made me jump." Turning his head toward the elf, "Have you ever been in a battle? Fighting for your life, then watching your mother die before you? Would you have been the same? Thats why I need to find Nyo, he needs to know. We got seperated at that battle...When my mother couldn't find him she feared the worst. She got careless. . . "

follows the sound of voices, Trinkel comes upon a sprite-kin and an elf.
"Hmmmm, she thought", as she hid in the leaves of a tree, "Wonder what they are doing here?"
All of a sudden, Trinkel flies out of the tree and right in front of the sprite-kin.
"hello!," she says in a high pitched voice, "what are you doing in this neck of the woods?"
She giggled as she hovered in the air in front of his face.


(Trinkel is a 6 inch tall fairy)

Startled D'ran unsheaths his dagger and draws his wand, "What I do in this part of the forest is my own business!" He tells the newest intruder. Horal, hears a disterbince and flys ahead from where he has been following D'ran. "Who are you and why do you apear with everyone else? I still have another intruder to deal with. Explain quickly or I will strike!" he says. Pointing his dagger at the newcomer he says, "And what are you? I have not seen one of your kind at all and I have lived in this forest for years."

"You've never seen a fairy befor?! " Trinkel says shocked, "I guess I shouldn't be surprised, there aren't many of us left in this area and those that are never let anyone see them. I'm a woodland fairy, although an unusually small one, and I didn't mean to startle you. Please don't let your falcon eat me!" she said with a shudder.

Stunned D'ran turned to the man, "Hey wait! STOP! The faerie is not to be sold!" Flying after the strange intruder D'ran passes by Reb, grabbing the sword from a hidden spot and charges after the man once again. "Hey, you! Stop, or I'll break the sword! I'm warning you!" D'ran draws his wand and holds it over the sword in a threatening way.

Trinkel opened the cage door and flew out, "Stupid human forgot to lock the door!", Trinkel said with a giggle. "Thank you sprite-kin for trying to rescue me, although it was not neccesary.
