IC: Solarae yawned, blinking open her eyes slowly. She stretched out her limbs, enjoying the scratching sound her claws made on the tree bark. She had been sleeping on the large branch of a tree. The branch was exposed to the sky, and the morning sunlight warming her back felt wonderful. Solarae preferred the heat of the desert, but the forest was enjoyable in its own way. One reason she liked being here was the abundance of prey and the fun in hunting in the trees. The main reason, however, was because it was where two of her best friends lived; Paconio and Augustus. In fact, that was why she was in the forest; she was going to visit them.

Solarae leapt catlike from the tree branch and onto the forest floor below. She was close enough to Paconio's home to walk there within the hour, but had decided to get there in the morning rather than at night. She figured it would be more polite than showing up at midnight.

OOC: I am going to join with Braith and Eschelon, if its ok.

IC:
Braith flew over the sea of green that was the great forest of Du Weldenvarden. He knew not why, nor did he care that he was there. He was simply enjoying the fact that he was flying and that there were not many things in the land that could cause him harm. He flew above the clouds, but slowed his speed when he saw the glint of scales below him. He spiraled down out of the cloud and saw that the dragon was orange and quite small. He immediately recognized her. He roared happily, Solaree! Its me, Braith. It has been far too long since we last met. I guess you can tell, I am much older than you last saw me. Now I have a mate and kids!

Eschelon was exploring the huge forest of Du Weldenvarden. He had just left the elven city of Ellesmera and was greeted by the queen, Islandi. He had left because, he was slightly homesick. He was flyign when he saw a large orange dragon, spiraling out of a cloud toward another, smaller dragon. He saw that the smaller was Solaree. He roared angrily and said, Leave her alone! Solaree, get out of there!!! to the larger dragon, then to Solaree, while flying as fast as h could, which was still horribly slow.

OOC: Well if you insist... Oh who am I kidding, I'm itching to join this!!!

IC: Paconio shifted in his sleep, disturbed by nearby presences. He explored the world around him during his waking dreams, as to not waste almost half of his entire life doing nothing at all. He touched the minds of all of them, but by accident. He left their minds just as quickly, but it was too late, anyone of them that had basic training with mind powers could find him now. Though he did not leave the minds without gaining some information. Just at a glance, he could tell they were all dragons, and one of them seemed vaguely familiar. He didn't take the time to see who it was, though. He went back to exploring other places, not at all concerned with the happening... For some reason when Paconio is not awake, he is much more careless than when he is.

Augustus, on the other hand, had seen what Paconio was doing, and picked up all of the information Paconio had gotten. He didn't quite realize who was out there or what was going on, but if one thing was for sure, he wasn't going out there without Paconio, his shyness surely prevented that. Get your lazy bones up, we have a mission Augustus yelled to him, already getting ready for flight.

OOC: lol glad you guys could join. And voenth, I was actually hoping you'd bring Eschelon in as well. You'll see why when we get further into the story. (He could have been involved in the backstory of this one.)

IC: Solarae glanced behind her when she heard a warning call. A familiar silvery white dragoness came into view through the trees. Hey, Syllwin, it's me, Solarae. This is like the second time we've met in Du Weldenvarden. It's great to see you! she called, turning around. The scent of another dragon filled her nostrils as well, and she heard approaching wingbeats. Two pairs of wings, actually. She looked above her and saw a slightly familiar orange dragon. Hi, Braith! Yeah, you have grown. We last saw each other in that attack on Galbatorix's city, right? You have a mate and kids? That's great! she replied. Seconds later, she heard a few mental shouts from farther away, and she recognized the second flying dragon.

Solarae flew up over the trees and saw Eschelon flying towards them as well. He was obviously concerned about Braith. Eschelon, it's okay, man! I know this dragon, he's friendly. It's nice to see you, though! she called out to him.

OOC: Ok, I guess I'll join then with Tvashtar if you don't mind.

IC: Tvashtar flew over the great expance of Du Weldenvarden. Though in his one year of life, he had never ventured far into the forest. He looked around for something to hunt, and spotted a large mountain lion. It was a large male, in the prime of its life, but Tvashtar would have to end it. He hadn't eaten for a few days. His body begun to glow with flames until he was like a pure fire dragon, and it launched a single flame at the mountain lion. He flew down and ate it than continued on. He decided to keep in his fire form in case he should be attacked, besides he liked the fact of being almost a living flame.
He continued on until he saw several dragons a few elves. Curious, he flew over to them to see why they were gathered with each other. He returned to his normal form and flew up to them.
Hello, what are you all doing? By the way, I'm Tvashtar. Though he knew none of them, he wasn't shy when it came to talking to strangers.

OOC: I'm not entirely sure, but I think that was Dark's turn... I guess I'll just hold off on my post until Dark goes.

IC: Solarae shook the dust off and looked around, intrigued. She clambered to her feet, a little bruised from the fall but not much. The sinkhole was larger than she had thought. The hole itself was large enough for a big dragon to get through, and the cave was as well. She glanced around, and saw that it went deeper into the ground.

Solarae heard the voices of her friends above her, and a few seconds later Eschelon dropped into the hole and Paconio fell into it. Solarae laughed loudly when he hit the ground next to her. Yeah, I'm fine. Paconio might not be though, she said jokingly, The rest of you should get down here, it's really cool! Definately looks like a good explorin' place!

Braith walked further into the tunnel and said, Something eels wierd about this place, it is as if something was put here, I feel energised for some reason.

Eschelon looked around and something clicked in the back of his mind. He said, I think I remember this place, I do not know when or how, but I have been in this exact spot before.

OOC: Pass, sorry.

OOC: So, is it my turn or Dark's turn now?

OOC: I think it is dark's then yours, then Draco & so on.

OOC: Wow, I'm impressed. You guys seem to be catching on already, and yet only Astral and I know what's really gonna happen.

IC: Solarae jumped forward and raced down the tunnel excitedly, positioning herself firmly at the head of the group. If there was exploring to be had, she would be the first to make any discoveries. Wow, I feel all tingly and stuff. This place is cool! Come on, guys! she cried enthusiastically, feeling extremely cheerful. She glanced back in time to see everyone else congregated behind her. Apparently they had wasted no time getting down into the hole with her.

The small dragoness examined the walls of the earthen tunnel as she waited for the others to follow. The tunnel seemed scra*ped and scratched, definately dug out by something. Someone had dug a tunnel down into the earth, and it was most likely a dragon, judging by the very faint claw marks still on the walls. The branches, leaf-litter, and other debri must have closed over the entrance. The tunnel was relatively narrow, and very brown and smelling strongly of dirt and plants. It seemed to lead deeper under the ground, though, and Solarae was eager to explore.

OOC: Sorry for the wait, I forgot is was my turn.

Tvashtar followed behind the larger dragons as they went into the tunnel. It noticed the sun's light was blocked off as they went into the large tunnel.

OOC: lol I like that quote, Ben.

IC: Solarae continued trotting forward, the roots getting larger and larger, but also spaced further apart. She had to be careful not to step into a hole. Beyond the cracks in the root walls, Solarae saw nothing but black emptiness. She jumped onto the next root and kept going.

Solarae suddenly stopped, causing everyone behind to have to stop abruptly as well or bump into her. She had just rounded a sharp turn, and saw before them one of the most fun-looking obstacles ever. The roots were huge, large enough to support a full-grown dragon. However, they were spaced so far apart that they would all have to jump from root to root. The walls and ceiling, though also made of large and sparse roots, was too close for the larger dragons to fly. Solarae could easily fly in the tunnel, but she decided jumping would be much more fun. Surrounding the root-bridge was complete pitch-black space. Awesome! Let's go! she cried with a huge grin, jumping out onto the first root and bounding her way along.

OOC: I don't think Eschelon "jumps"

IC:
Eschelon frowned at the thick roots and the seemnigly endless bottomless hole below. He said, I am not sure, but I don't really think that those roots can hold me, but I will try. he nervously slipped onto the first root and smiled when he saw that it held. He lightly stepped to the other, going much slower than th eothers, but for good reason.

Braith followed after the large tan dragon, as nervous as the ancient dragon, but more reckless. He bravely stepped from one to the other and where necessary, leapt.

OOC: 'Tis dark dragon's turn.

OOC: Sorry it took me so long, I was busy with school and didn't have much time here.

Tvashtar sniffed at the roots, he wondered if they could support their weight, or if he should burn them or now.

OOC: Short.

OOC: Astral, it's your turn

OOC: Attention to all dark dragons: it is your turn.

OOC: Where's dark? It's his turn in a few rps, and I haven't seen him posting in a while.

OOC: I've been sifting through all the rps that I would have probably missed...and it looks like this was one I did, indeed, miss...I'll have to reply now...

IC:

As Syllwin used her breath to keep some of the roots at bay, she hadn't realized that a whole gathering of them was just rushing up behind them. Immediately, she used her breath to try and buy the rest of their friends some time to get to saftey.

Hurry up! Keep going, I'll be right behind you! I'll make sure these stupid roots don't get what they're coming for, she hissed as she built a wall of ice. Though as she attempted to pull that off, more roots just seemed to be able to drill past the wall and make its way toward the others. Syl slashed and used her breath madly, making sure that she was the last one before the roots were just too much for her. She only hoped it bought enough time for the others to get through safely.

OOC: Dark it looks like it's your turn in this rp when you get to it. And then Ben right after...I know Draco had a big plan for this rp so if she wanted to resurface this one...?
