 I should have posted it here.. I need a little help... Well, I am trying to start up my own RPG and I'm trying to figure out what I can do for a plot...
It's going to be a dragon/rider RPG based off of Eragon/ the Inheritance series using the history and what-not stated in the books. I want to make something happen in the RPG that will give people a goal to work toward, but what should it be?
Should there be an uprising? Another shade enter the area? Another corrupt dragon rider? A corrupt *dragon*? A war of some sort? Or something completely different, like a quest for more dragon eggs or a lost clan of some sort?
What would you guys want to do in an RPG like this? Something long term and interesting...
Also, should I just use the locations in the books or create a new location and just base it off of the books?
How should more dragon eggs appear?
Should I make it so that I would have players to be elves to train riders or just accept them into the RPG and say they are trained?
How much of the book should I follow?
I'm just brainstorming right about now...
Please tell me your ideas!!

Re: I should have posted it here.. I need a little help... I think this might go over in the rpg advice center... and about ideas, any of those would sound good. I personally think you could put all or most of that stuff all in one rp, just be creative. and about following the book, just follow the basic rules, don't do something that can't be done in that world or something like that.

A new land outside of Alagaeisia...I'm also trying to think of a plot for it... like a war or an uprising or a quest or something, but with/of/for what? A war between races and then with Galbatorix? An uprising of Urgals lead by another shade? A quest for....um...I don't even know what... Hmm.
How do you guys think I should gauge the energy a character has for, like, magic and things like that? I've seen on one Eragon RPG there was a sort of gauge thing on the side of a person's name thing (I don't know what it's called..), but I'm not going to be using ProBoards for it, I'm using different boards. I have an idea of having a set number, but in the books, Eragon gets more energy for magic and things like that as he learns, so.....
Oh! I'm also looking for a co-owner, also, so if any of you guys are interested, just tell me!
